    Spinning will be perfect to compliment STS. I have done the program 4 times & have always done a lot of cycling & spin classes. I have found that cycling/spinning the day after STS legs is a bit ouchie, so I either spin same day as STS legs or on a day I don't plan to ride the following day...

    You can use your mtn bike on a trainer but get a slick tire for the rear wheel. A knobby tread might get annoying. Like Dirt Diva, I plan to use my road bike in my trainer. But in time I will get a spin bike!
