NO!!!!! Just broke my ankle today, and the new DVDs are coming!!

Sorry to hear, I hope you heal quickly. Please don't rush back into working out, take time to heal. I work in an orthopedic office and we have people who rush back and re-injure themselves.

    No Squats or Lunges

I would love a workout that would be challenging, low impact and safe for knee osteoarthritis.

? about calories and fitness trackers

I use a polar chest strap and monitor, it is usually 100-150 calories less than the workout manager. Since it is based on your heart rate it will be more accurate.

    Hurt thigh

It sounds like you may be developing some arthritis in the hip, you should have an xray taken and see an orthopedist.

    Kneecap arthritis

Hi Debbie, Unfortunately this last PRP did not seem to help very much. I think there is more going on with my knees as both of them are hurting right now. My doc is going to get a new x-ray and MRI. PRP works great for tennis elbow and plantar fasciiits.

Bundle Mania - Should I get ICE?

I If I want an easy day I'll pull out Low Impact Sweat, otherwise I rarely use this series. If you want a different series that is a bit more challenging I would try the Strong and Sweaty series.

    Kneecap arthritis

I am 57, started with knee pain around 45. PRP is plasma rich protein, we draw your blood from your arm, spin it down in a centrifuge and then inject it into your knee. It is a "biologic" versus a synthetic pain reliever and it has healing properties. Unfortunately insurance in the U.S. does not...

    Kneecap arthritis

I also have this, it is called patello-femoral arthritis. I recently did PRP which I am hoping will help. The other treatment we at the office is Bone Marrow injections. This seems to be very helpful especially if you have any chronic bone marrow lesions. Unfortunately insurance does not pay for...

    Mastering choreo in step w/o

I usually learn a new step w/o in stages. I will do my normal w/o for the day, when I am done I learn one portion of the new routine. I keep the remote in my hand the entire time and just keep rewinding until I catch on. The next day I do what I learned the day before and add on the next...

    dermaplaning

Has anyone ever done dermaplaning for facial hair? Since menopause I have a lot of facial hair and am considering it, but am concerned about the hair growing back darker or coarser. I tried facial waxing and that grew back within a week. Thanks

    Apple watch or Fitbit?

I am thinking of buying a fitness tracker, I currently use a polar watch with the chest strap for my workouts. I would like to track my steps, sleeping pattern and heart rate. I am debating between the Apple watch and the Fitbit . Have any of you used both products? If so, which one do you like...

    Thong alternative?

I wear Soma's Vanishing Edge panties, there is little to no panty line with these underwear, and they don't ride up which is nice.

Upper Body Only for Knee Problem!

Her Low Impact Series will make you sweat! Cardio super sets and afterburn utilize weights with cardio, 2 tough workouts. I also really enjoy doing her advanced Fit tower workouts. Bootcamp has some jumping, but can be easily modified to lower impact. I do them with "careful impact", and it...

    Protein/carb/fat intake

I use the My Fitness Pal App to monitor my food. When you first sign up you enter your information: height, weight, desired weight etc.., it will let you know how many calories to eat, and what the % of Protein, carbs, and fat you should be eating. The app is free, but if you want to know...

The My FitnessPal is a great app for keeping track of your calories and exercise. A lot of my patients have lost weight just by monitoring their food intake.

    ICE 2...Who's In?

I have to agree with this, maybe have an option for those who like the music loud. I like to hear the music, but not so much that I cannot hear you.
