    Elliptical or Treadmill?

    I prefer the elliptical. It just seems that you can hit the legs better with an elliptical without taxing the joints. I once stressed my knee on a treadmill (I have no idea how, but my knee bothered me for MONTHS afterward). The elliptical is so much friendlier to the knees!

    Leg and Glute work two days in a row?

    I'd say no to training the same body part two days in a row. All training advice I've read says not to do this and even if you aren't feeling sore, I don't think it's a good idea. The muscles were still worked, and despite the lack of soreness they need to rest.

    I have both the GS's and S&H, and use the GS's ALL THE TIME!!!!! I pull out the S&H's when I want to break a plateau or take the strength up a notch. So, I think you should get both eventually, but get the GS's first. I think you'll use them more.
