    Abs on Stability Ball

Wow, I must be doing something right because I find ab work on the ball to be much more intense! To the point where I do them on the floor when I want an easier workout. I am very picky about form, so maybe that is the reason? Not to say that y'all are doing them improperly, but I do feel...

RE: New series--please consider showing us how to modif... I couldn't help but jump in here with a substitution for ricochets, since I have found one that works well for me. I do a two-knee repeater followed by a jack on the floor. The jack on the floor leaves you in a position to lead with...

at what age did you get married or have kids

I was one month shy of 34 when I first married...and that was too young!!! Please don't allow societal pressure to allow you to feel like a failure. You are the only one who can or should decide what is "too old." The older I get, the more I realize that life frequently doesn't turn out...

Getting ACE certified vs. AFAA certified

Hi Andrea, You may not be aware of this, but this question has come up periodically, and Cathe has answered it before. I suggest you try doing a search on this topic. Good Luck!

    Underwear frustration

I usually go commando. My solution to the, er, frequent washing dilemma is to stick a panty shield on the crotch of the pants I happen to be wearing. Sometimes I add a little double-sided tape to make sure that things don't shift around on me. Anyway, this works well for me and is extemely...

I know this is personal but......

Another satisfied Botox customer here. Like someone else said, for me it has become a must, in the same way my cell phone has. I do between my eyebrows, crow's feet and forehead and I go 2-3 per year, since age 40. Am 46 now. I, too, have never had any negative side effects.

How do you know when you need new shoes?

I do cardio 4-5 days per week, strength 3-4 days per week. I buy two pairs of good shoes every six months and then alternate wearing them. I used to have significant feet problems, but no more.

    Our employees are SO RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Government Employees, Unions and Management My, this is a touchy subject! While I completely understand LauraMax's and others' frustration, I agree with Donnamarie and Dave in that there is really no need to paint all union members/civil servants/government workers with the same brush...

    cellulite and alcohol

Good point Beavs! I guess I am the exception because I have recently (in the past year) begun drinking much more wine than I ever have. Learning more about wine has become a kind of a hobby for me. Anyway, I have also noticed that my cellulite level is at an all-time low (age 46). My...

    Other intense workouts?

Hi Noel, Here's another vote for the Amy Bento, Tracey Staehle and Kelly Coffey workouts. I have their respective step workouts (along with Amy's All-Pump Extreme and Hi-Lo Extreme) and I find them every bit as challenging as Cathe's workouts. In some cases, more so. Tracey's and...

Anybody here done Amy Bento's all pump xtreme?

Yep. I have it and have done it several times, although I have not done the leg work as yet, since I have been focusing on B&G. With the exception of the would-be pullups at the start of the back section, I find it enjoyable and effective. I feel very well worked-out afterward. I also...

    Amy Bento dvds

Hi Candy, I have Amy's All Pump, but not Team Boot Camp. I am really pleased with my All Pump purchase. It is a lengthy strength training DVD, with many great pre-mix options, so IMHO it is a great value. Hope this helps.
