Optimal time to include core during 12-week rotation?

The guide recommends once but no more than twice a week. I plan on hitting it twice. Just not sure if I should really dedicate those recovery days to recovery only.

Optimal time to include core during 12-week rotation?

Since the core workouts are separate from the other workouts, and they're not recommended specifically in the rotation (just in a paragraph suggesting you don't exclude them), what would be the optimal days to include a core workout? Is it better to include on one of the resistance training...

Best STS 2 workout rotation to lose fat (pounds) and gain muscle

Not Cathe, but any workout routine where you're pushing heavy on your weights and staying consistent is pretty much guaranteed to help you gain muscle. The more muscle you have, the more calories you burn, which, ideally can assist with fat loss. However, typically when it comes down to fat...

STS 2.0 Total Body Giant Sets

Did this fully-weighted for the first time yesterday. Really enjoyed the workout. I actually stayed a bit conservative with my weight selections this first time around and noted to go up an increment next time around. I use Select-Tech weights, so found I need to pause the workout occasionally...

STS 2.0 Wall hooks for tubing.

Jen demonstrated the door anchor. Here's the video: Here's the thread discussing it: https://cathe.com/forum/threads/cathe’s-new-door-anchor-turn-your-door-into-a-gym.318158/ I'm definitely curious how this will work since, as others have mentioned, I don't necessarily have a door right in...

No cardio in STS 2 rotations - discussion :)

I'm not complaining about no cardio since a lot of the time cardio is kind of a bane to me. Although I do love my step workouts if only because they're fun. The guide mentions cardio is optional with the main STS 2.0 rotations, but no more than twice a week and no more than 30 minutes at a time...

STS 2.0 Total Body Giant Sets

I do the hip thrusts on the edge of my couch, lol. I find I need to put a rolled up blanket behind my head, too, to help address any possible neck strain.

Hiccups between chapters in STS 2.0

So far I've not seen the hiccups on any of the other DVDs, either. Just Active Recovery / Total Body Stretch. I'd love a replacement if you determine for sure that this isn't actually an issue caused by older technology.

STS 2.0 Total Body Giant Sets

I wanted to wait until the official rotation came out before starting in on any of the weighted workouts, but decided to give Giant Sets a try today, just to get a taste for it. I kept it really light, mostly because I've also been pretty lax with my heavier strength training workouts since the...

    Foam Rolling Upper Body

I did this and the lower body one yesterday, too. My lats were barking at me. Nice guidance. I'm not sure how frequently I'd do a full follow-along of these since, as she mentions, there are times where I really need to spend extra time on a particular area. But it's good to see some examples of...

Requesting the first week of workout schedule for 1 month and 3 month rotation

I sympathize with everyone's frustration, however, can you imagine if they made us all wait to get our workouts until after the on-demand stuff was ready? I guess they tried their best to choose the lesser of two evils. I'm sure they're tucking this experience away for their next series release.

    STS 2.0 rotation

I saw it but it didn't really tell me much other than that there'll be 1, 2, and 3-month rotations. I was excited to see there will be a specific rotation with XTrain, too, though. :D I'll just keep waiting. For the time being all this week I'm just going to do her Active Recovery, Mobility, and...

Hiccups between chapters in STS 2.0

My PS4 isn't 10 years old, but I acknowledge it's not the latest technology, either. I saw the skipping during the regular play-through and pre-mix. Again, it was just on that DVD. I'll let you know if it's the case with the other DVDs, too, when I get a chance to view them as a full...

    I'm actually using a PS4

Hiccups between chapters in STS 2.0

Hello, I'm not sure where the right place is to report this, but I was noticing when I was viewing Active Recovery and Total Body Stretch that there were little hiccups where I assume the chapters are supposed to take people. Because of this, the video isn't seamless. The first time it happened...

STS 2.0 packaging is so Beautiful!!!

My package just arrived! Woohoo - on the fence with the case, since it won't really fit seamlessly with all my other DVDs, but mostly just looking forward to popping the workouts in and giving them a look-over! Thanks for the swift delivery (although I did pay extra for expedited delivery, lol.)

    STS 2.0 rotation

I feel like this was mentioned somewhere before, but can you let us know where we'll be able to find the "official" STS 2.0 rotation? Is there going to be a link provided with the paperwork that comes with the DVDs? Thanks. Got my shipping notification so I expect the DVDs to arrive soon!

    Cathe's STS 2.0 Upper Body 2 Workout

I can't wait to see the suggested rotation come out for the series. I love the variety of focusing on parts and then total upper/lower body and total body options.

Cathe's STS 2.0 Active Recovery Workout

Probably why I also love alternating sit/kick-outs, like in Super Cuts. You're doing big dynamic full-body movements while crawling around on the floor like a playing kid. :D I'm grateful my knees and wrists are okay with this sort of stuff!

Cathe's STS 2.0 Active Recovery Workout

This looks super fun. Makes me think I'll feel like a 5-year old again, romping around on the floor. I have to say those deep squats where you stay down low and move laterally from side to side really have helped me with my general squats (they're in the Mobility workout). Anyway, I love these...
