    Ramped upper Body

I have been trying to get my 17-year-old son interested in Cathe workouts (not very successfully), but so far this is his favorite. He likes that the weights are heavy and the workout is only about 45 minutes total. Lots accomplished in a reasonable amount of time!

    Boxing Bootcamp+Legs&Glutes+bonus Abs

I think this is my favorite phase of the new Cathe workout experience: reading the reviews and getting caught up in the contagious excitement! (Close second: seeing the video clips.) I got my package yesterday, but will wait for the user guide to be posted so I can do a rotation. :-)

    Met value attribution

I can't answer this, but I think it is a great question! Last year, my boys got me a heart rate monitor for Christmas, and I am always amazed that the calories calculated by the monitor are always within a handful of the calories posted on the Workout Manager. Very impressive that they are able...

Gym Style or Slow and Heavy after STS?

I don't have STS, so not really qualified to answer your question here, but I do have both Gym Style workouts and Slow and Heavy, I would recommend Gym Styles (although both are great). I just think Cathe and the crew look so fantastic in the Gym Style workouts that that alone is so motivating...

    ICE kickbox dvd

I really agree with you about this workout! The music is so motivating and the moves are perfectly matched to the music. Also, of all the Blizzard Blasts in the ICE series, I like this one the best because it is the most straight cardio rather than HIIT.

Video Clip of Cathe's Low Impact Cardio & Metabolic Conditioning Workout

Does anyone think that iron cross move looks like a challenge? I wonder what weights I am going to end up using for that one!

Video Clip of Cathe's Shred Cardio & Push Day Workout

I understand how you feel, but I have to admit that my jumping has improved tremendously since I started with Cathe all those years ago. I remember my first workout was Body Max 2, and I couldn't do the two-foot jump onto the step in the power circuits; I stepped up instead. I couldn't do the...

    Premixes for upper body?

I would also mention Total Body Trisets from the Low Impact Series. I know some don't like the music (and I didn't enjoy originally myself, but now I kind of like it!), but there are several upper body combinations and I like the way strength training is combined with balance and core training...

    Ripped w/HiiT vs. Xtrain

Please let us know what you think! I just love X Train...every single workout is fun, except for X Train Legs, but even that workout is welcome because there is 0 impact and the exercises are so effective. I have grown to appeciate it, and really glad Cathe has it in the rotation so I will do...

    Ripped w/HiiT vs. Xtrain

I am very late to chime in on this question, but I find X Train more approachable and Ripped with HiiT very demanding. I mean, every single RWH workout is HARD. I find when you do X Train, you get more variation: doing Burns Sets Bis and Tris or Chest Back and Shoulders is demanding, but lets...

    After Low Impact Series

Although I have never done a Cathe workout I haven't enjoyed, I really like X Train as a series because it is so well balanced. You can have tough cardio workout one day (like Tabatacise or Cardio Leg Blast) and then the next day will be a weight workout. And even within the weight workouts, you...

    Rhythmic Step - Awesome

That is so funny, because I actually previewed this workout (because all the reviews commented on the complexity) and normally I do not preview... But I had the same impression: sheesh...how will I do this workout with this grating voice? But once I did the workout, the voice completely receded...

    After Low Impact Series

Gosh, ICE versus X Train...such a tough choice (and I never thought I would say that, because I really, really, really LOVE X Train). In general, I find X Train more fun, except that I really love the boxing workout from ICE (although Hard Strikes is great...just that the boxing segment is...

    Hardcore Series :Hardcore Extreme DVD

I have been afraid to order IMAX 3 because of the reviews, but I do love HSC. I wonder if I should consider this purchase now, because I have the option to set up the equipment as you so helpfully describe.

Any updates on the new series?

I have to agree with you on the DVD thing! I had a techie friend come visit and he saw me loading DVDs, and he was like, you can put all these on your computer and stream them! So he spent a couple of hours trying to copy the Flex Train dvd to my laptop, and then what? I am supposed to look at...

Any updates on the new series?

I haven't done Cross Train Express for a while, but I often return to 4 Day Split (I just love those step routines, and I always try to "kick the door down" in the kickbox segment). I think this series sounds similar in the respect of 30 minutes cardio, 30 minutes strength. (But no step...

    Rhythmic Step - Awesome

I just love, love, love Rhythmic Step! I thought I would never do those repeaters in a circle when I first got it, but now I can. It is so fun! I congratulate you on having the patience to learn it. "It feels like we could do that one all day..."

How many of you are pre-ordering Fit Split?

I really enjoy 4 Day Split and am hoping this is similar. I feel like I need more cardio and less weight lifting (even though I love my strength increases), so like the idea that I can work more cardio into the mix without giving up strength. Although one of the 4 Day Split premixes I love is...

What Time Of Day Do You Like To Start Your Workout?

On the weekdays, I start my exercise between 7:15 and 7:30 (after my husband leaves to take the boys to school). I work from home, so this allows me to get to work between 8:30 and 8:45. On the weekends, I try to get my workouts in early morning, before the family gets up, so aim for about a...

    Drill Max

Although I saw tons of my favorites, I didn't see any mention of Cardio & Weights (which comes with IMAX 2). So fun, but you may end up humming Buttercup the rest of the day...). Enjoy!
