    Pikes and my son

    There is a way to do pikes without a ball. I've done them with grocery bags over my shoes and my hands on my step. Just pull up into a pike while sliding your feet in. Anything that will let you slide your feet in a controlled manner will work. :)

    Any other military wives out there?

    Power sqat tips?

    I think I answered my own question doing power sqats today. I was too "stiff" the first few times I tried them. Today, I let my legs "give" more and the force of the move was in my thighs instead of stomping on the board. I still need some practice though! :D
