I very much like "sisters in spirit".

And I know you will sympathize with me as I head off to struggle into my workout gear to go huff n puff in this 81 degree 60% humidity. Ack.

Oh heavens yes! And yet, until it goes down to those temps, I can't work out at all here. So I've been doing a lot pf late night power walks in the dark recently, trying to beat the heat. We've been forecast another 2 days at 96 and above and then 3 days at 82 degrees. So, today. I'll be at the gym sort of lifting weights and then I can revel in 2 days time!

Oh Clare! I hope your trip to the gym was productive.

Your 96 degree forecast made me shout "Oh, yuck!" out loud.

I wish for cooler weather for you.

I'm guessing you have better drivers in your state....I wouldn't risk the roads at night here for love or money.
