You must see this! OT

Wow! I missed this one! Is the contest still going on or did he win it? This is such a "feel good" story - so enlightening! I actually caught the first one on Brit Hume's Fox show last night. This guy is just taking off, isn't he? I hope he becomes a big success.
 
First live semi-final last night. Opera man won the voters view. Appears his day job is a sales rep for Carphone Warehouse. He practises in his back bedroom to the CD. It would be nice if he can give up the day job but he apparently is grounded and waiting to see how it goes. Simon Cowell stated the 6 yr old has perfect pitch like X-factor winner Leona Lewis. He has offered the 6 yr old a contract, but she is young and her parents don't want to risk her while so young. (Haven't heard from a cheep from her within the UK since she won. Must be in the USA. Opera man Paul Potts think will lift it. There was some real rubbish on the audition tapes. The comments have made cult viewing. Grand final on Sunday evening. Think the Royal mob will have had a good giggle at it all so far!

The thing that made this even more heart-wrenching is that he was so nervous and self-conscious! Brought tears to my eyes! It's amazing to think that someone that talented can be oh so not confident.

Glad he pushed himself and performed!
 
I think what's so magic about Paul is that his story reminds me of a fairly tail, you know, the frog and the prince. Just so positive an uplifting. I wish him great success. Go Paul!

It had me weeping like a little baby. Especially his having such an astounding voice and seeming so insecure and unsure of himself.

And miracle of miracles...he made Simon smile!
 
I love this type of music as my mom had played Italian operas for me almost my whole life.

I particularly liked the second clip, an song that I know well and done beautifully by Andrea Bocelli. That song gives me goose bumps everytime I hear it. But Paul...he gave Mr. Bocelli a run for his money!

This wonderful talent Paul...had me over here crying, tears just flowing out of control! I really enjoyed it.
