You know what I need?

I need some suggestions for a good cardio workout that's alot of fun, gets the heart rate up, but isn't too high impact. My bad knee still doesn't have its full "spring" to it, so I feel like I'm clomping on my left side. And yeah...I can modify Cathe's workouts...but you know, I've had all the cardio ones in my library for awhile now and I need something new. Her new ones, I think, are too heavy-duty for me right now.

Donna - I bet LIC would be fine for you. There's no high impact in it yet it's a great workout and has lots of good premixes.

>>cardio workout that's alot of fun<<

Even I think Cardio Coach is fun and I hate just about all cardio. no...no...I pretty much hate ALL cardio except for Cardio Coach.

I second LIC. I was able to do that one a week before I had ACL surgery on my bum knee back in the fall. You could also try KPC. I've found that one to be pretty easy to modify, if need be.

Thanks. I'll check out LIC. I've already got KPC and it's never been one of my favorite workouts. Cardio Coach....hmmmmmm....

OK...what is Cardio Coach? I just Googled it...are you talking about the downloadable thing? (is downloadable a word???)

Try Kenpo X. I just love that workout--for me it's probably the most enjoyable cardio workout in my DVD library.

Yes, the Cardio Coach is Sean O'Malley and he puts out fantastic audio guided HIIT workouts. You can download them or buy the CD's. I LOVE him...er...the workouts. I have all of his workouts and I use them on my elliptical trainer, but you can use them on any cardio equipment or for walking/jogging. You can hear clips on his website.

I think downloadable is a word, or at least it should be.:7

So what you're telling me is that Sean O'Malley is going to somehow magically make me enjoy using the Nordic Track - the thing that makes me want to rip my eyes out because I'm so bored? That would be great - because that doesn't hurt my knees at all!!!!

Yes, this is what I'm saying. I now associate my elliptical with Coach Sean:+

Yes he will! I have an elliptical stepper which I never used until I purchased Cardio Coach. The music and good and he pushes you through your workout. Each w/o is a little different. You start out w/a warm up then into challenges; it could be a hill or a sprint. He encourages you to keep moving.... you then do a cool down and stretch. I've never done the stretches though.

ITA! Motivation is the key. He makes me feel like I can do anything. I LOVE him.

Well, OK then...I'll believe you. It's got to work better than watching the same Star Trek movie over and over...

Thanks!
