Yeah, right: Eva Longoria still a size 0 after weight gain?

Look at Drew Barrymore. The press crucify her for wearing a size 6!!! I love Drew and I think she looks great in a size 6:)
I think that Hollywood thin has gone way too far.

Lol, I saw that too and though "yeah, right!" I noticed that she had gained some weight just from recent pictures. Like you said, I actually think it looks good, but she has definitely gained. There is no way she is the same size. She should set an example by being proud of her gasp size 4 (which I think is more realistic).
 
I think it's so sad that these grown women feel they have to defend something as ridiculous as their dress size.

I agree. I love when female celebrities thumb their nose at this notion that we all must be bone thin (Kate Winslet comes to mind).

I'm a size 10, and I look awesome in a dress.
 
I think on the show they are dressing her in "fat clothes" and padding - when you see her out and about in real life she still looks quite slender (to me, at least), but on the show she looks plumper. So possible she really has only gone up a size in real life but on the show her character has gone up quite a bit more :~)
 
This could be true. I can still wear my size 4 jeans if I lie on the floor and pull the zipper really hard. And then once I stand up, I never exhale.

OMG i hate those nutri-system commercials " i was a size 10 now i am a 4" like WTF WAS WRONG WITH A SIZE 10. i am between 10 and 12 depending on the pants. believe pants size is the LEAST of my worries LOL.

i adore kate, she was pissed when one magazine airbrushed some curves off her legs! then she called them out on it.

not sure how many listen to rock/punk but a band the distillers had a hawt front woman brody dalle. many(esp. non fans) liked to pick on her b/c she was pretty curvy but man go to a show and see how many boys and men really like the "fat chick". they though she was a goddess!

different strokes i guess. but buns need to fit into a size 10 and the butt isn't going anywhere and neither are the hips! double digit pant sizes UNITE!!!

I agree, she does look a little *rounder* but she was SO thin before that she does look healthier. And she's still tiny, why the fuss over size 0 or 2?? :confused:

Oh man do not get me started on Nutrisystem--never have I seen more irritating commercials! I swear, when Jillian Barberie caught a lightly tossed football & said "how many chicks do you know who can do that?" I wanted to give her a good right hook & ask her the same damn question! :eek:

LMAO!!! quite annoying and very degrading to someone who was never and probably will never be a size 4. well maybe if i ate nutri system b/c anybody can be a size 4 eating 1200 calories a day.:( man i am starving just thinking about it.

I'm sure in Hollywood, it's easy to find someone who makes clothes that are 'really' size 4, but are marked size 0. Got to feed those Hollywood egos, you know.

Also, who knows how short she is? Many actors are short. (Always has been that way: I read that back in the 40's, they used to design sets smaller, so the actors looked taller--lower ceilings, smaller doors, etc.)
 
Personally, I think the curvy girls look much better than the sticks. Look at how beausiful Cindy Crawford and Tyra Banks are. They are both gorgeous.
 
You know what bothers me about what they have done with her character? It is the over the top frumpiness. When she went to the country club party, too me it looked like she had no effort to do anything with her hair or make-up. Even poor housewives can clean-up nice, and just because you are a SAHM with limited funds does not mean you look frumpy all the time.

And I think everybody has a different shape and body size and we ALL look good.... curvy or "stick" as you put it. It works both ways you know.

I think Eva is a beautiful woman no matter her size, but face it... when you're in the public eye and you put on a few pounds, people are going to notice and talk about it. That's just part of the deal with being a celebrity.

I can tell in Eva's face, more than anywhere else, that she's gained a bit. But, like I said, she's beautiful either way. Nothing wrong with a size zero, a two, a four, a ten, twelve, whatever. We're all different and we all look good at whatever size is best for us personally.
 
Its the cut of the jean. She may still be in a size zero in another pant company. Does that make sense.

I fluctuate between a 7-9 and I purchased a pair of 6's in the Gap and because of my waist I can wear a size 3-4 in a skirt and some others like Billabong Jeans (I think is how you spell it) 11's still didn't fit me so there you have it. Every stores pants run different. I so wish they could do that with shoes It seems like all the cute shoes fit size 8's.
 
I am so freakin sick of this size obsession..like you are not considered attractive unless you are a size 4 or under. Complete rubbish. Sick of it, really! Who gives a shee-ot what size you wear if you are healthy and happy? Easy to say, but I get caught up sometimes too...I have been a solid size 6 since, well, as long as I can remember. And according to the Devil Wears Prada, "a size 6 is the new size 14"...get outta here...
 
I haven't been in a size four since I was a child. Even if I shrunk 20 pounds I couldn't do it....I'd have to have my bones shrunk too.
