Xtrain/LIS rotation

Has anyone tried this rotation and if so what were your results? My upper body has great tone and definition and I know I have good muscle tone in lower too i think but it's covered by fat I can't get rid of to save my life!

One of the best rotations I've done. Fun, no dread factor, super effective. I have to get back on it - I've been out of commission for the last two months. Ugh!!

I loved this rotation! I made steady strength gains. But what really surprised me was my cardio endurance. I had always avoided Cathe's HiiT DVD, probably only tried 30/30 a few times. After this rotation I did HiiT 30/30 and was amazed I could do it AND could have even kept going. HaPpY DaNcE! :D

I am new here--47 years old, have been fairly sedentary for the last few years, and I've gained wait. I'm about to embark on this rotation for the first time after working out for the last two weeks. Any tips? I'm looking forward to it!

Good for you! I would just say...don't be hard on yourself...do what you can. ...you will still be doing more than anyone sitting on the sofa! And modify. Modify modify ! If you simply cannot do something, march, jump jax whatever...but DO NOT ALLOW yourself to quit ( unless of course you feel unsafe)

Best wishes!

Thanks. I've gotten good at modifying. I'm watching all of the workouts in advance so nothing comes as a surprise. I'm going to be careful while not being afraid to work hard. This morning, as part of a citizen's fire academy, I suited up in full bunker gear and went through a training smoke house carrying hose. In the Texas heat! That was probably more intense than anything I'll be doing in the next 90 days. Taking the rest of the day off (maybe some yoga), and looking forward to getting started tomorrow. I am going to try to take the yoga philosophy of taking what my body will give me each day, and showing my 47 year old self some compassion! But I'm not going to be afraid, either! Thanks for your encouragement!

Question? How long does the temporary water weight gain from starting to lift heavy typically last? What should I expect in this regard? Thanks!
