XTRAIN: Burn Sets/100 Reps...same on each cardio DVD??

Hi - Will there be the exact same footage for the Burn Sets and the 100 Reps Challenge on each of the four cardio dvds?

In other words, will there be different body parts for the Burn Sets and 100 Reps Challenge on each dvd or, if I want to do a specific body part, can I use any of the cardio dvds or do I need to choose the one with that specific body part (for example, will biceps Burn Set and bicepss 100 Rep Challenge appear only in Hardstrikes or will biceps and all other body parts be on every one of the cardio dvds)?

Thanks!

No, we will have some of the footage from Burn Sets in the various premixes of the Cardio workouts, but certainly not everything.

I don't understand the question orr the answer. Hum

Hi! In asking the question, I was wondering if each cardio dvd had every single one of the Burn Sets and 100 Reps "workouts" or not.

For example, is the 100 Rep Challenge for Biceps on all four of the cardio dvds or is it only on one of the cardio dvds (for example, only on Hardstrikes)?

I interpreted Cathe's answer to mean that each body part's corresponding Burn Set and 100 Rep Challenge appears on a different cardio dvd. So, if you don't have all four cardio dvds, you would not have all of the different 100 Rep Challenges and 15-minute Burn Sets. I hope that I go it right ! :)

I don't think I do either, Renee. But it did make me wonder--is the 100 rep and Burn challenge unique each time it is presented? Or is it the exact same footage every time it is added to a premix? I think that might be what gail was asking? The answer given didn't really answer that question for me.

It looks like Gail posted the same time I did. I'm still a little confused. Is the 100 rep challenge unique each time it is presented? That's the one I am most confused about. 100 rep challenge is a strength segment, so are there more than one 100 rep challenge? As in a unique one for each muscle group?

Now I might be confused :)...

I assumed there would be body-part-specific 15-Minutes Burn Sets and 100 Rep Challenges...one Burn Sets for biceps, one 100 Reps Challenge for biceps, one Burn Sets for shoulders, one 100 Reps Challenge for shoulders, one Burn Sets for chest, one 100 Reps Challenge for chest, etc. (triceps, back, legs, glutes??).

If that is true, then will each cardio dvd have all of these or will each cardio dvd have a different body part for the 15-Minute Burn Sets and 100 Reps Challenge? In CTX, each cardio workout is followed by a strength workout for only one upper body part instead of having a choice of any upper body part workout (for example, Step & Intervals has the Chest workout). I was wondering if XTRAIN will be similar in that respect; I took Cathe's answer to mean that will be similar...you don't get the full choice of body parts on every cardio dvd...you get one or maybe two?

Am I muddying the waters even more?

I just re-read Cathe's answer and realized that it sounds like the 15-Minute Burn Sets are a variety of footage taken from the stand-alone "Burn Sets" DVD...!! That makes sense. So, maybe they are not single body part routines..

XTRAIN Single Body Part Workouts.

For questions like these it is best to wait until we have filmed and edited the DVDs. A DVD can only hold a certain amount of information and until we have filmed and edited all of the workouts we won't know how long each segment will be and thus we can't say exactly what kind of bonus footage will be included on any individual DVD.

Staring on October 6th is when we will begin to release weekly details and pictures about the XTRAIN workouts and things will start to be clearer for everyone. But, yes there will certainly be at least one optional premix on each cardio workout featuring a single body part workout just like we did years ago in Cross Train Xpress.

SNM can you guys say what the workouts, while al the past months practicing, has done for the crews bodies? I don't see how they can improve there bodies but also have they testsd it on regular bodies? Also Cathe mentiioned she had DOMS..so I thought that was crazy. What would Cathe have to do to get that. Lol.. very interesting to me to know how they know what results there looking for and so on. Do you understand my question? Or Am I rambling yet again?
