Too funny- yesterday my mom called from CA panicked because the world news reported major flooding & devastation in my area of Texas … Yesterday was the first day we had clear skies all day and life was back to normal. Just goes to show ya you gotta take it all with a grain of salt folks…

:::::::::::::::::::::::Amy
Oh to be called GRACEFUL! What a wonderful compliment… so deserved! I think we are all in agreement with DH situation… nagging never helps – just take care of your own sanity. Your rotation seems to be agreeing with you! YEAH on finding what works.

::::::::::::::::::::::Wendy:
Can’t ya just taste the WendyX! ROFL about your new 5am workout partner… I never got the impression you were much of a morning person…. LOL on the chocolate… My cravings this month are for Nestlé’s Tollhouse Cookie DOUGH! I bought a batch and have been eating the dough for 3 days. Hope the halfsies worked well for you yesterday… A girls gotta do….You really do need BBC (IMO) … It’s a good endurance type of training with as close to an X feel as I’ve found yet.

::::::::::::::::::::::Nicole:
LOL- Did I detect a note of sarcasm in your…”I guess we'll see how "glamorous they look in a few weeks”? Oh I take it easy starting day 18-28 of my cycle… I mean OUR cycle (seems many of us are harmonizing!) That’s like 2 hard weeks and 2 easy weeks… I just SEEM like I work hard all the time! Since you get crabby in extreme heat I won’t invite you to a summer in Houston!

::::::::::::::::::::::TracyX:
Anxiously awaiting word of the SH Legs…. Did ya scream- mix it up a bit? I do indeed have Absolute KickBox… I have only done it twice and just the Kick part (34 minutes) I really liked this one! More of a Kenpo feel with Cathe fun factor. The breakdown is:
Warmup: 6.5 min
Kickboxing: 34 min
Combat Intervals: 27.25 min
Cooldown: 5 min
Weighted Core/Abs: 13 min
Now I think I need to take this to bay and try all its parts! LOL… I stopped KB so often when I started doing legs more than 2x a week just for the sake of time… I really miss the extra core work it provides tho and it sculpts my upper nicely as well so I may *adjust* some things so I can do 2 a week again.

:::::::::::::::::::::::TeddyGirl: AKA Troll
You have a MUCH better sense of humor than I- ^5 to you for being bothered with it all…. Perfect example of people jumping to conclusions… correction…. Apparently BORED people with too much time on their hands jumping to conclusions…. *insert cat snarl* ANYWAY- Stay here where its safe! We love ya!!! Here's some WOW stats on your post last I checked....67 Replies, 1480 Views
1480 VIEWS *HOLY COW! 67 Replies! ROFL! The last time I asked a fitness ? in OD I got 3 replies! LOLOLOL

::::::::::::::::::::::::Cheryl:
Send some of that FABULOUS energy my way! I can only hope my business takes off as yours and that I am as happy and fulfilled as you are! I am so very happy for you!!!!

Sandra X, Debra X, Laurie X, Jeanette X, Swifty, and anyone I may have missed….. Hope you all have a FABULOUS day!

Hi all,

Last night I ended up doing PS legs, which is a good, solid leg workout. It is deceptive and by the end I was like, OK, that worked. Then I did Shiva Fluid Power, about 60+ minutes. Legs still felt good, but upper body was done towards the end, after the day before's workout. That entire dvd requires so much core strength, so I did't do abs. She does lots of half planks which I love, plus if I really concentrate on pulling up through the abs it mimics pikes on the ball.

Today is supposed to be a run, but it is still very hot and air quality is really bad. I may have to sub something else. The elliptical would be nice, but DS got a new something or another in the mail for his truck last night, so you can imagine what he was doing. I may try to put it together myself, but it weighs 250 lbs, that I guess is part of getting a cheaper one, that it weighs more. It still wasn't that cheap though, $1000. I'm sure it will be fine and I only plan on using it about once a week now, and possibly 2x per week in the winter.

Traci - S&H legs is OK, but the boredom factor is huge for me and I can't put enough weight on my shoulders right now to make it effective, so I opted for more endurance based. She does a pre exhausting set before each 3x8 set and I believe that the main exercises are squats, static lunges, and plie squats. It's been a while since I've done it. I think that the deadlifts are with the back and not legs. Have fun at the bay. How far is it from your house?

Back to work. I have to work until the 3rd, then I'm off until 8/13. I can't wait. There is no one here and it is really hard to stay motivated.

Tracy

BBC Chest, Bi/Tri & Abs is completed as are Kick Max Drills.... Gotta say- 6 months ago I couldnt complete all the reps (KM) and today I could have done 2 rounds... I was feeling it but not to the point of screaming.... Very pleased when I can actually have fact that I am stronger & more fit! Motivates me to continue.

TracyX:
OMG you must be so excited about your long break coming up! It is so deserved after all your double duties this past semester. LOL about your son! I guess id you were an out of shape mom he'd think of it as a higher priority! Thanks for insight on SH Legs... I wonder if it has any greater benefit based on the fact that Cathe uses slow versions of all the same moves in other DVDs.... I will definitely try it just to see but gosh I feel like I am squating and lunging myself 3x a week lately! I decided that tomorrow I'll do Absolute Kickboxing in full for the first time. THANKS!!! That will end my week nicely as I completed all my strength work today. $1000.00 is considered a "cheap" eliptical? Well I guess one of those will never be in my future! I'm glad you saved for it as I know you'll use it wisely! Be careful with the air quality... i see so many people outdoors running when ozone is dangerous and its like 3pm in the afternoon.... Its Russian Roulette to me. PS Legs is such a keeper. I actually like all of that series.... Glad you dusted it off yesterday!

Great day to all who follow!:7

Good morning ladies!! Have you noticed that since I am on East Coast time now, I check in much earlier?!? Also the painters are here again today so I had to get my lazy butt out of bed. I really wanted to sleep in today. I guess all the shopping I did yesterday just wore me out!! I had to get a few more things for the house and I did not do much unpacking yesterday. I am planning on starting DD's room today which should be more than challenging! Sorry I just don't have time for personals lately, but I promise I am reading all of your posts. It was blistering hot here yesterday. I know it's supposed to be warmer in the South, but this is ridiculous!

Okay...I need to get motivated today. Definitely feeling very lethargic this morning. Painting is going well...I ended up doing gold in the dining room and it's a little golder than I was expecting, but I think once I get everything in there it will tone it down a bit. I did sage green in the master bedroom and it looks great.

Okay...I really have to run now. Love and hugs to all!!!

Morning, Arrreee...Yoooou....Worrrking....:)

How is everyone, I’m good:) :9 onward and forward:p

Last night I ended up doing the entire MIS felted nice:) This morning, I did Butts & Guts 'leg blast' then strike zone 'paddle w/o' finished with ab hits #3 am tossed;) and my butt is sorrreeex( I think tomorrow I'll do cardio coach followed by MIS upper.

TraciX: Came I join you at the Bay? need a vacation BAD. Nice workout and yes I’m staying here, it's safe.

Amy: you are so sweet, thank you.

I can’t chit chat much today, needing to catch up on work. Today is my last day returning on July 10th

Hello to everyone elses :D

Teddygirl~

Morning Xers,

Doubles: Ph3/Wk12/Day4/Rnd2
Workout: Bryan Kest Power Yoga Sweat

Yesterday I was able to get off of work an hour early. Got my workout in earlier than usual, and managed to get a couple of plants in the ground before they died. The rest of the night was bead work on my youngest DD's dress, and was able to watch Top Chef (I am an ellimination show addict). :)

Looks like Cathe is busy on the new workouts. I can't wait to see what she comes up with for the Kickboxing and the Bootcamp cardio. Can you imagine what the combo of cardio on this one would be like. }(

Teddygirl, Yup Traci is right, you are a trooper. I was suprised at the responses. But you where great in how you handled it. ;-)

Traci, Did you do the cardio also in BBC workout you did today. I had done the 20 min. on the one that Barry did. My calf muscles are still sore from that one. :D Some of those drills I'm bent over sucking in air. :) So I have decided to do a couple of weeks of BBC after I'm finished with the X rotation I'm currently on. Oh I wanted to add that the first premix on the Absolute Kickboxing (which combines the KB and Combat Drills) is really great. You do a KB segment then a Combat.... Awesome workout, I think you would like it. Way to go on doing the KM leg drills, I know how much you loooooove them.

Tracy, Wonderful that you are able to get that long of a break. Ok now I'm not liking your delivery person very much. :D I wanted to know all about all the programs you have on that new piece of equipment. :) Maybe all of us can come and help you figure out how the heck this thing is put together. I bet Jeanette would be able to figure this thing out. :) Reading directions isn't so hard, I have found out.

Wendy, I have seen Wai Linn in the morning, and also Denise Austin is on early in the morning also. x( I like her workouts, if I put the mute button on. :) I managed to find an All Star Workout that looked tempting. It is a kickboxing one and I DVR'd the thing. I'm going to try it out on Saturday morning. And yes I know I need to sit in front of my computer at home and do that picture trail. Why does the home computer have this big stop sign on it! ;-)

Amy, Your yard sounds like it will be great when it is finally done. So did all the trenching get done yesterday? Your freestyle rotation sounds like it is working for you. Love the compliment that you got from your patient. Those type of people have to make up for all the ones that come in with a bad attitude I bet.

Have a great day!

Laurie

Glad to see you havent gotten lost in all those boxes or passed out with paint fumes!

*********TeddyGirl
Heading out for most of day so I may miss you! Cannot BELIEVE you are leaving us until the 10th!!! Thats just not right girl,,,,,, Ask Santa for a PC! Have a great time off- work it hard girl!

Good Morning Ladies,

EION FINN IS IN THE HOUSE!!!:D :D :D :D :D Previewed the intro and quicke. LOL on ice cream licking, the dog, and mother's milk. Where does he come up with this stuff? Where's HIS mind??? LOL

Phil and I went to bed at a decent hour last night. :) Plyo didn't get done. I didn't want to do it, but today will be a doubles. Plyo after art lessons and weights before bed.

It was sooo HOT and HUMID. The reason why I didn't do Plyo. We broke down. Phil installed the AC before bed. Everyone was under blankets this morning! :7

Another excuse for no Plyo, I was on the phone for a couple of hours with my highschool gf. I called her to talk to eldest ds and me about the reserves. She's been in the reserves since highschool. It paid for her college and graduate school. She had a lot of good advice for making the reserves work for you instead of the other way around. DS, Phil and I are going to talk to a recruiter today. Don't worry. He's not going to sign a thing! Just looking at his options.

Traci-X: Why does your dog, Sandy, not tolerate the steps at the bay? Are the steps made of wood? Or does she not tolerate any steps? Baby won't go up or down my friend's open staircase. We have to carry her scared behind! She does fine with regular stairs. I don't know if it's the heat or her lyme disease, but she's been very legarthic these days. I think I caught her limping. I'm going to see if this changes now that it's cooler in the house. I was going to ask you about the weather. Right before I came downstairs, CNN showed massive flooding. I wasn't able to figure out where in Texas it was. Glad it's not where you live! LOL about my new workout partner. Margaret was on her own this AM. I looked at the clock at 5 and turned over for more zzzzz's. }( ^^5 for kicking butt on KM. Do you think the X or your rotations have helped you become stronger? I don't have that one. Phil has DM. I may try it out post-X considering my video collection is small. I plan on getting BBC after the RT. I need to get reacquainted with Cathe first.

Tracy-X: I would not consider $1000 a cheap eliptical! Hopefully, ds will help you put it together tonight. Traci's probably right. Your ds must think you're strong and fit enough to do it yourself. Or maybe he's waiting for you to actually NEED it. :7 Nice break from work. Do you have any plans?

Debra-X: Darn those early workers! ;-) I'm sure the paint will look great once you unpack. I heard that for yellow, you need to find the right shade of yellow and go two shades lighter. I guess yellow shows up darker on chips? I didn't know that when I painted the girls' room. I just got scared with the perfect paint chip and decided to go two shades lighter the day I bought the paint. So glad I did. But, for gold, I don't know if the same idea applies. I think you're safe! I still have to buy the paint for the dining room (soft gold) and living room (golden brown). One thing a time right! :) Take it easy. Don't worry about posting personals. We know you're busy! Have fun unpacking and decorating the diva's room!

Hi To Everyone!!!! Going to heat up my coffee and read.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!!!
Wendy

Teddygirl: You were very gracious in your OD replies!!! We'll miss you! I think all your dc need to pool their $ and get you a PC! Have you been dropping hints???? :7 Now, stop buying workout videos and put your pennies towards a PC!!!! :p :7 ;-)

Laurie-X: I've purposefully stayed away from this season's Top Chef. I might plop down and watch the marathon when it gets closer to the finals. It's so sinfully fun to watch their drama. :D Where and how did you learn beadwork? I learned how to embroider and smock through books. But, I haven't tried my hand on beadwork yet. My eyes have thanked me. :7 I don't think I'll become a Wai Linn fan or a Denise Austin fan anytime in the future. LOL on muting them!!!!! Perfect!!! Oh! I could dvd Margaret. Thanks for the idea! I haven't heard of the All Stars Workout. What channel did you find that one on?

I really need to get ready for art lessons. I'm looking ghetto this morning!

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!
Wendy

Good morning,
I got on the computer last night around 9:00 all ready to do personals, was reading posts and then DH hollered and wanted me to spend some time watching TV with him. Of course, after being gone for 5 days, figured I should oblige.

Today's workout were the Power Circuits from BodyMax2 and then learned the 1st combo from Christi Taylor's Stepsational (used the Move Master) and then back to BM2 for abs. Tonite will be the hill climb competition. We are predicted to have high winds. Not looking forward to the headwind on that super steep section. Shoot, on a windless day I'm going something like 3 mph up it, barely keeping the forward momentum. Oh well.

Tracy, hope you can get that elliptical put together soon. Can your DH help with it? What brand is it? I remember getting the Bowflex machine and I laid out all the pieces in another room, marking them with tape as to A, B, C, etc. It worked, though I'm sure DH would never have done it that way. I've never done S&H Legs, though I have it. I'm just not going to do heavy weights for my legs right now. Also the name reminds me of my legs (Slow & Heavy, yuk). Hope you have a great time on your vacation.

Traci, way to go on feeling so strong for the KM drills. Are those the standing ones. When she has you point your leg out in front of you, mine is always way bent. I have really tight hamstrings (guess that's why they won't go straight).

Debra, yep, it's nice to be awake before the painters arrive. I used to sleep a lot more and would be so embarrassed when someone would drop by and I was still in bed. Glad the paint colors are looking good.

Teddygirl, your workout sounds great. I've got Strikezone and have only done it once. I never got to see your post on OD as you had deleted it. LOL re: all of the views and responses.

Hi Laurie, by the way, way to go on the spike the other night! Bet you are really enjoying the volleyball. I love it when I get off work early. I'm still playing catch up here and probably tonite too. I still need to clean the trailer from our blackpowder shoot. Always something.

Hi Wendy, oh gosh, it's almost time for my shower. I do want to say that probably a mtn. bike would be good for the riding that you want to do. Glad Phil got the A/C in. DH and I are going to pick out the tile (finally) on Saturday. Gosh we are sure dragging out this project, but I've had weekends taken up with this or that. Not like we have a Home Depot down the street. We are 87 miles from the nearest big town (Reno, NV).

Dang it, have to go now. I hope to be able to do some posting tonite, but can't guarantee.

Hi to Nicole, Amy, Cheryl and anyone else.

Jeanette

Wendy, The All Star Workouts are on Fit TV. This particular one isn't on again until July sometime. At least that is what their web page says.

Laurie

Heyyy, everyone!
Good morning!

Traci, nice workout!

TracyX, good job on the PH legs... sounds tough...

Teddygirl, we will miss you! Be well!

Debra, enjoy the painters :+

I did Step works this morning (Again!) Love it! Think I've hit my quota for awhile, though. Meant to add on Cardio & Weights but my DVD won't play! It's the first Cathe DVD I've ever had a problem with it. I got it off eBay so I'm out of luck. Speaking of which, I'm going to replace it with another one off of eBay TODAY. Can't live without that one.

Have a great Thursday, everyone!

Cheryl

I meant toasted not tossed, duh :+ :+ :+ Can you tell where me head is.........

I'm going to miss you guys too, I do have a nice surprise for you guys, gotta runx(

Hi all,

The new set looks cool. As long as it's not too distracting I could really care less what it looks like, or the clothes for that matter.

OK, so I was reading Mark Blanchard’s website (yoga guy). He was in this personal trainer competition where they had a few people and they put them into different workouts for a period of time. The one doing yoga lost quite a bit of weight and decreased the body fat too. He claims that he gets celebrities in shape with 90 minutes of yoga a day and a sensible diet. It’s like I always say, you can find info or research to back up any idea or claim that you have, but honestly I really can see muscles that were not defined before.

Ellipticals go up to 2-3-4 thousand dollars. I was looking on OD and some of them were commenting on ones that were in that price range. I surely don’t have that kind of money to spend on an elliptical and if I did have that much money just laying around, I wouldn’t spend it on an elliptical. I'd probably finish our kitchen that has been in stages of remodeling for the past 2 years. I guess it’s all personal choice. My Mom gave me the money for Mother’s Day to get the one I got.

Cheryl – I did Rhythmic Step and Step Blast until I could do them in my sleep. I just loved those workouts. Sounds like your doing the same with Step Works. I like the old ones, but there is too much repetition for me. C&W is a great workout when you want to get some upper body, but not kill yourself.

Laurie – When is Top Chef on? I try to catch The Next Food Network Star and sometimes Hell’s Kitchen. My DH and I watch our share of reality shows. Are you watching So You Think You Can Dance? It has been excellent this season. Laurie, I probably could put the elliptical together, but I’m hesitant to start and then have to move some heavy piece. Something has to weigh a lot if the box weighs 250#. Then when the guy came to deliver it, my younger DS was here and the guy on the truck told him that it would be $30 to use the lift gate on the truck to get it off. Luckily DS was able to use the tractor and they pushed it off into the bucket. He didn’t charge to push the box into the bucket. What a scam. It already cost $99 to ship and that took 2 weeks. I love to tack on Sweat after an upper body workout. It really helps to put on the final touches.

Wendy – I started out years ago with Margaret Richards. It was something like 40 and fabulous. She must be well into her 50’s by now. They were always solid workouts and I liked her style. Phil must be a work a holic. Glad you got the AC in. Your weather is probably similar to what we have been having; high 90’s and high humidity. Are you going to try Eion today? Remember, you have to do yoga many times before you actually can really do yoga. I was reading your comments about the reserves and I could hear my DH in the back of my mind saying don’t sign anything………

Teddygirl – I almost did legs of MIS yesterday, but figured I’d have to add on floorwork and it might be a good excuse not to do it if it wasn’t on the same dvd, or video, since my MIS is so old.

Debra – We did a yellow in the basement workout area and it is YELLOW! I’m considering doing an accent wall just to tone it down. It does make you smile when you walk in there. Good luck on finishing the move in.

Traci – I’m not sure that doing S&H legs has any greater benefit than variety. Well, really all of the dvds combine the exercises a little differently which helps. My legs look pretty good now and I’ve been doing a Cathe 2x per week. I’ve wanted to add extra this or that, but I’m sticking to the workouts because I think that they are really balanced. I still haven’t bought the presale yet, but I’m trying to decide which older dvds to get. I was on the fence about PS. I know I’d like to get the one with PH, MIS, and I think BM1. You could make some good mish moshes with that one. I was going to get S&H on dvd, but maybe I’ll get PS and then wait until my S&H videos won’t work anymore because I only have PS legs and abs or whatever it’s called. Decisions, decisions……….

Jeanette - I got a Sol 25. It was rated the best by several ratings, in that price range. Somehow I don’t picture your legs to look S&H. I agree though. That is not the workout for helping with endurance. I can feel a difference in my power on the bike since I’m not lifting as heavy. Oh well, I’m just glad to be able to ride pain free. I’m trying to do one heavier leg weight workout a week and then either B&G, or L&G, which are lighter and more endurance based. That seems to be working for now. A windy hill ride seems like it might have some dread factor attached to it.

Gotta go. I have some more data to enter into Microsoft Access. Just curious, is anyone familiar with that program. I have a question and I can’t seem to figure out the answer from reading the online help.

Tracy

Good morning!

Now that Debra's on the east coast, I really look like a posting-slacker. At least I still have Nicole with me.

This morning I did...geez, can't remember. Oh yeah! I did High Step Challenge. I enjoy that workout soooo much, particularly because of the music. It's a winner, in my book.

TraciX - You did the KM LCDs...just for me?? Aren't you sweet! Do them again!!!! JK! I'm so pleased they felt so easy for you! They've gotten easier for me, too, but that first segment is still not something I'd care to do twice in one session. Have you ever closely watched Jai in those? She's so freaking flexible, it's crazy. You're going to the Bay for quite a few days. That's going to be soooo nice. I hope Sandy manages okay with those stairs. Poor pup. Is she too big for you to carry? SH Legs. What to say that hasn't already been said? Personally I don't mind it at all, but admit that it doesn't have the fun factor of GS Legs or BG. A problem I have with it is that if I try to go heavy enough, I can't safely lift the barbell over my head. She puts a few segments of "pre-exhaust" work in between the heavy segments, just to deal with this issue, but I find they just make the workout longer. On the plus side, there's no floorwork!!! I always liked that about that workout. Around 35 mins, and you're done. No leg presses, low-pulse lunges, or hover squats. Just basic exercises, done in a controlled manner. My "passion" for floorwork, you say?? LOL. NOT!! Didn't you see my post ages ago where I asked "Floorwork! What's it good for?" Frankly, I still don't know what it's good for, except maybe to make you better at doing floorwork. Oh, and I suspect that it's a great way to strengthen the core, and increase hip-joint flexibility. Again, have you seen how flexible Jai is???

TracyX - Yup, Fluid Power does require good core stabilization, doesn't it? I haven't even tried her 2 core sessions on that dvd yet. It doesn't seem like I need to! I did the BackBend Flow on Saturday, and noticed that the Standing Poses segment has some similar moves as the Dancing Warrior 1008. How exciting about your new eliptical!!!! It looks like you're soon going to have plenty of time to put it all together. What are your plans for the next 2 months? Do 3 hours of yoga a day? :)

Wendy - My, I don't know what to say about DS possibly being recruited. As a mother, I wouldn't let the military wrestle my child from my viper-grip. But I understand that there are possibly great benefits to the recruit for joining. What a hard decision to make ;( GS Legs was my favourite lower body workout until Butts & Guts came along. I still looove GS Legs. She does more traditional leg strengthening in that one: barbell squats, barbell deadlifts, lunges, etc. It flies by at a quick pace, and when you're done, you're done! There's a segment of slow-count lunges at the end that are brutal. Brutal I say!!! Get this workout.

Cheryl - Step Works for, what, the 3rd day in a row???? Now, I like that workout, and think it will hold up 'til the end of Time, but I would never do it 3 days in a row LOL!! You're a machine! Why not wait until the road trip and buy one from Cathe directly, so she can autograph it?

JeanetteX - The hill climbing competition tonight sounds tough!!!! I know you'll pull through really well. I can relate to that "never done" feeling. It's so discouraging because you know you could spend 3 days solely cleaning, fixing, etc., and 3 days after that it will all need doing again. I've decided that tomorrow is going to be Clean House Day, but am dreading it with a passion.

Amy - Did I read your post correctly the other day? Did you say you'd gained FIFTEEN or ONE POINT FIVE pounds? Because if you've gained 15 pounds, and LOST inches, then I'm blown away by how much muscle you've gained in such a short time. Amazing!!!! Graceful? What a lovely compliment! I remember years ago hearing about the concept of living with grace, or having grace under pressure. I tried it for a while...it's harder than it sounds!

LaurieX - Are you dreaming about beads? That must be very meticulous work. I started a linen cross-stitch project years ago, and it will take me years to finish. I need to work at it more than once a year, I suppose. Are you thinking of doing a 3rd round of the X any time soon?

Teddygirl - Have a great holiday! What are your plans?

I can't believe how excited I am that the landscapers FINALLY came yesterday and did the final grading work on our property! We will have grass by the weekend, hopefully! We've only been living here for 14 months.....

Have a great day!
Sandra

Phase 3/ Week 11/ Day 4/ Round 1

YogaX

I think I'll make it through the whole X! I did the full yoga this morning and had a lot of energy for it. I can't look at the timer for the first 45 minutes or I want to quit. Yesterday I started planning out my rotation for after the X. I'm doing the Body Blast series for four weeks and we'll see after that. I want to do a Gym Styles roatation and a S&H. I think I'll do those after the bikini summer is over. I don't want to bulk up during swimsuit season:)

Tracy-X, Good idea not having me for a humid summer visit:)LOL! I'm glad you have not floated away into the ocean. I just ended TTOM so I was glad to workout with energy today. I never did read the cycle workout article. I'll have to look it up again. It would probably work well for me too. Way to go on KM Drills!^5

Tracy, Glad you got a good workout in yesterday. It must be tough to not get outside and exercise. I never have been able to so I don't long for a little jog. We live in a busy area but one day I'll move to the country and run for miles:) Never have used Microsoft, sorry. Gotta go check the blog for the new pics!

Debra, Debra, you are a busy girl:) Sounds like it is going to be lovely! Can't wait to see pictures of it when it's all done.

Laurie, I really miss doing Bryan Kest yoga. I know he drives a lot of people nuts but I like him. How nice to get your workout in early. It's always nice to squeeze a few more hours in a day:)

Wendy, Yeah for AC:p Where do you live? Your profile is disabled so I'm in the dark:) Have fun at the recruiters. My DH has wanted to be in the military forever and I said "No Way! Don't get me wrong, I am so appreciative of our military but he started asking after we had kids and I just wasn't wanting to be left alone for months on end.

Jeanette, Sounds like it's going to be a tough climb tonight! You are such a trooper:) How's little Miss Tillie doing? Animals are so great at adapting to changes, unlike us humans. I had an ex-boyfriend that had his dog go blind and the vet told him as long as everything was the same the dog would get around just fine. He immediately went home and moved all of the furniture so the dog would bump into things, so mean. That would be why he's an ex:)

SandraX, Great, now I have to get HSC:) Add it to the list! Yeah, grass! How nice to finally have a place for the girls to run free. You need to post those new pics:) Watch out< I'm the picture posting police(PPP) for short:):p

Cheryl, Hey if you find something you like, might as well stick with it:)

Hello x-er's

Phase 3/ Week 11/ Day 4/ Round 1

Nicole-Yep! We are on the same rotation. :7 Sorry to say this AM I DID NOT finish YogaX the entire way through for the very first time. Yesterday's amusement park trip was fantastic but I woke up feeling tired & not able to concentrate on the poses. Oh, and your Yellowstone pics sent smiles all over my face. I worked and lived there in 1992. It is truly the most amazing place. I cried when I saaw the pictures of the Inn. I was a gift shop cashier! Memories.:)

Teddygirl-Oh I do wish I could have read the post. I'm amazed at how we can find the time to make a big tadoo over things. One of the reasons I get so quiet. I just can't seem to take it in and process the negativity and nastiness.;) Enjoy your vacation from the computer.

I smell strawberry cotton candy. DD has found the bag and is sharing.
:9 So much for clean eating.

Hi to everyone! Now I will muster up the energy to do Cardio X as the storm warnings are out and I'm not going to get to the bike trail.

Swift Amy, So glad you enjoyed the pictures. We had a great time at the Inn, it was beautiful! Everyone who works there seems to be enjoying themselves and they are all so nice. YogaX is a tough one to endure all the way through but I've managed this whole time. I look forward to new and interesting yoga like Yoga for Happiness:) Have fun doing CardioX. I did it once and really enjoyed it. Have a great day!

Anionted~ I like that name, look for it;)

Hello!

It's been a wierd day. I fell asleep on the couch last night watching, "The Devil Wears Prada" (for the second time) and DH woke me up around 0330 to go to bed. Once I got into bed, I couldn't fall back asleep until around 0630, then the phone rang and I was up again at 0900. It's definitely been what I like to call a "kitty" day...you know, that's what a cat does all day....lounge around snoozing.

Sandra- Yes, you read right. Fifteen lbs, I have gained, but almost 5 inches I have lost. I am viewing my body as a corporate model.....stuff happens from the top, down.

Traci- I hope that you have a great, long weekend at the bay. I know that you aren't leaving until tomorrow or Saturday, but you know that I usually don't post on Fridays until LATE.

TG- I am sorry that I missed you. I hope that you enjoy your long, much needed vacation!!!

I didn't get my workout in yesterday, I guess that I am in need of a mental vacation. I went out to plant my new flowers, then just went with the flow and ended up mowing the yard (around the trenches). No, not all the trenching got finished, the guy ended up have a cyst cut out of his thumb yesterday.

Everyone else, I hope that you are having a good day and planning a great weekend.
