Good Morning Ladies!

Early to bed,
Early to rise
Makes Wendy the first to post a Suprise!

No, I'm not pregnant! Just shocked to have gotten here before Traci!:)

BBS! Gotta open another window for personals.

Ballistic Hugs!

Rise and Shine Sunshines!:)

TraciX: Sleeping in today?;-) When is Hurricane Dean expected to arrive? Did Wendell get everything secured? How's those triceps?}( How's the glutes?}( Kenpo got me there good once I started kicking like a mule. What's on the agenda for today? Speaking of towns with racists, we have one here too. Apparently, the town next to ours is the home of one of their grand poo pas! lol It's the same town I help with Bible Club. I doubt any of them would send their dc to it. I also doubt I would ever meet any of them. We run in very different circles.:)

Amy: I'm perplexed as well. If you don't have internet access, are you using company time to chat with us? You must love us!!!;-) So glad you and dh had a wonderful time!

Anointed TG: Did I miss something? Are you a grandmother again? How many gc do you have now? You must be one of the best looking grandmothers around!!! I'm patiently awaiting grandchildren. First things first, ds needs to finish bootcamp, work awhile, get married and then give me LOTS of grandchildren. :7 We joke about his gf having nice birthing hips. It'll stop being funny if she ends up birthing me grandchildren anytime soon!

SandraX: What's on your to do list today? LOL on Eoin and his crew feeling too much love. I told Phil, I'm not going around hugging people after yoga class!!! Although, I do have to wonder if the instructor wouldn't have minded if Phil did! }( :7 ;) I'm surprised no one has commented on the red thongs peeking over the white Lululemon pants. It does border YogaX!;-)

Jenn: Are you back on board with your workouts? What's on the agenda for today? A rest day? LOL What! You're trying to give up coffee?!?!?! I think I'd give up my first born first!:p :7 ;) ;) Don't even tell me that the tea was decaf! About time you fixed your tire! Now, get out and ride! Here's the link to Chester County's trails:
http://dsf.chesco.org/ccparks/cwp/view.asp?A=1550&Q=613511

DebraX: I hope you got a good night's sleep! Maybe you hate legs like I hate abs. I'm a pear shaped kinda of girl, so I'm always focusing on working my legs. So, my abs aren't as strong as they probably could be. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!:p Today's workout sounds like a killer! Cleaning!!! I must fit that into my rotation as well!;-) We've taken dd to see geneticists at CHOP and DuPont. They don't want to classify it as Ectodermal Dysplasia (affects the skin, sweat glands, nails, teeth and hair) since she doesn't quite fit nicely into any of the 150+ categories of the syndrome. However, she has similar symptoms of ED. Among other things, her hair has a different texture. The only other person I've met with similar hair was a girl with ED. Since we don't have any family history of ED, they honestly don't know how or why. There's one doctor in the world currently researching new cases of dental defects. He has her information. I suppose if he ever stumbles across a connection, he'll let us know. We've been asked to participate in a research project in TX to see if there's a family connection. I haven't filled out the forms yet!!!! I guess it doesn't really matter. I kinda wished it was classified as ED because there's a foundation that would financially help with her dental needs. It's not a huge emotional issue as it was when we first found out. When she was 6, she told me she felt bad for my friend's son who was born without a hand. I didn't want her to feel sorry for him because it's an obstacle he easily overcomes daily. I asked her if he should feel bad about her teeth. She was shocked that I would even compare her missing teeth to his missing limb. Then she realized that her missing teeth and his missing limb was no big deal. Last year, a girl from Bible Club asked her why her teeth looked different. She point blank said that she was born that way like it was no big deal. So, it wasn't a big deal to the other girls listening in. They moved on to more pressing topics like what they were going to do on the trip. I am glad that I homeschooled her the first couple of years before we all were able to deal with it emotionally. I think it would have been too hard on her to listen about the tooth fairy and deal with questions about it from other kids. I'm THANKFUL I didn't send her to the Christian school. I was using the same science curriculum as the schools for 1st grade. In it was an entire chapter on teeth. I was so ANGERED by their picture of a child with adult teeth and another picture of an adult with baby teeth. They went on to explain how God created us to have different teeth as we grow. I forget the exact way they presented it. But, it came across very unloving and overly generalist about the character of God. I threw the book away and will never use that science curriculum!!!

NicoleX: My mind isn't working well this AM. What's CM#2? Looks like you are loving them blasts! Are you going to start incorporating some heavy lifting into your rotation anytime soon? I'm starting on Monday with S&H. Should I be afraid?:7 ;) Maybe, they wanted to have a bridal shower now in order to focus on the actual wedding. It surprises me how much time people spend planning weddings and paying for it. Sometimes it sounds like women are more in love with the wedding than the man they are going to marry. Not saying that's the case with your SIL, just thinking aloud.

Cheryl: How are your eyes? Did they heal up nicely? Did you stumble around this weekend? LOL on your dh walking around naked. Was he taking advantage of your clear eye sight or still blurry from surgery eye sight?}( :7 I must have missed the interval cardio discussion. In what context did she discuss this? Does older women need more interval cardio?

Carol: Nice to see that you have internet connection at your mother's house. Sorry about the car. It's always something huh! Dh must have needed a stress reducer after paying the bill! A massage sounded like the perfect antidote! I haven't tried CC yet. I have a treadmill. It was an expensive one at the time it was purchased 10 years ago. I have to manually set the incline. It's easy to move, but impossible to do while using.

JeanetteX: You're coming home today!!!!:) :)

TracyX: When are you coming back? I've missed you! I've had so many questions this past week for you. Now, I can't remember them all!!! I thought of you yesterday. I went to tighten my core while riding. Only it was the last couple of miles that it finally remembered. Oh well. Maybe today.

AmyX: Hope you guys had a wonderful time in Tionesta! Did you get any biking done?

LaurieXX: Hope you had a fun filled, sick-free weekend!

I think that about catches me up for now. I guess I could do some laundry while everyone is still sleeping. I plan on going for a ride as soon as the sun comes out from hiding.

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!
Wendy

Good Heavens ya'll are FREAKING me out by posting so early! :7

Making it quick as I have a ton of things to get done this morning...

Hurricane Dean update: It has turned ever so slightly South as of last night - good for us but HARDto go YIPPEE when the poorest of poor in Mexico will be devastated... The Southern part of Texas where it will still impact (if it stays on current path) is where Wendell & I vacation fish...Port Isabel/Corpus Christi area.
We cant let our guards down as once it hits the warm open waters after it passes Jamaica these things tend to go ANYWHERE... Local info as of last night 10pm...

http://www.click2houston.com/weather/13922538/detail.html

Wendell and I decided NOT to board bay house- just way to hard with windows 12-14' above ground. He IS bringing the boat back but the rest is in the Universal Plan - so be it.

As far as the house in houston- we live in furthest North West part of HUGE city so we are 50 miles from last evacuation area... We are LUCKY as traveling to "anywhere" with 3 large dogs would be a huge issue! The last major one that hit (5 years before I moved here) left Wendell without electricity & WATER for 8 days! (He lived in same NW part of city as we live now!)...CAN YOU IMAGINE???? The no electricity is what sends me into a tizzy!

Thanks for all the well wishes... I still need to go find some canned supplies- the shelves are bare in all the stores! I went to fill up my gas tank at 630am yesterday only to sit in line at a FILLED station!

Can you imagine what CHAOS is like in a city with 5 miliion people ON TAX FREE SHOPPING WEEKEND no less!? :7

Keeping my sense of humor but some people are just plain RUDE out there in a potential crisis...I THANK GOD I am married to a level headed dude! :7

Hugs to all- will try and return later-

Carol & Jennifer- I’m sure you told us when you joined (I’m old tho’) Do the 2 of you have plans to become Carol X & Jennifer X ??? Did Wendy X promise to do another round with you?

CHERYL:
I feel so badly as I have been meaning to send you thoughts on the miners and rescue team in Utah. What horrors it must be in those surrounding communities that live with this every day. Prayers for your part of the world!! ~ I hope you gain as much benefit as I am with the Interval Cardio vs longer sessions. Since starting only HIIT & a few Kickboxing w/o’s I have dropped 2% BF. Doesn’t sound like much but my body looks very different leaner just that bit. ROFL about DH! I would have lost it big time!

AMY:
Happy dance on the internet issues being just an irritating thought …. THANKS for evacuation invite! Wouldn’t JellyBean be THRILLED to see my 3 big kids show up on the doorstep! You are a sweetie for the invite!!! What are you doing as far as workouts to re-group after such a lovely vacation? I assume you took some rest days after R/t while you and Dave were eating Philly Steaks?... I saw on Food Network last night the “across the street” places you were talking about- they were doing a story on BOTH of them! Too funny!!!

WENDY-X:
Funny how the body tolerates different foods sometimes isn’t it? Glad you can enjoy cereal for a bit! WooHoo on finding trails! We will NEVER hear from you now. LOLon your Flex McCoy! You are just so funny- I do believe you will become a RS addict! The music alone makes me want to keep at it…Thanks for re-visiting www…hopefully early next week I can do a PICTURES ARE UP shoutout!

JEANETTE-X:
WELCOME HOME!!!!!!!

CAROL:
Great job on CC yesterday!

TEDDYGIRL:
Yeah- computer is working better! We all need a little maintenance once in awhile!

NICOLE-X:
Hope shower and workout was FABULOUS for you yesterday!!!! Hope your spirits are brighter these days.

DEBRA-X:
Very productive day for you yesterday! Why do so many of us dislike leg work??? I think for me its because theres just so little variety- add a 60 minute tag on that and BOOM – you’ve got Traci’s ADD!!!!! I like 30 minute legs 2-4x a week (varied moves) just to keep my mind from going stir crazy! I so DISLIKE PLB because of all the poundage on bar change… I’ve done it ONCE in past 2 years and will probably never do it again…Hope today is a happy carefree day!

JENNIFER:
^5 in BC yesterday! 1-6 is STILL GOOD!

SANDRA-X:
Hope that long list from yesterday is down to almost nothing so you can have a relaxing day! I LOVE the orgie hugs at end of Eoin! LOLOLOL- I SWEAR I was suppose to be an adult in the “LOVE 60’s”! Always reminds me of that show Love American Style- We were banned from watching it but when mom & dad fell asleep we 3 girls got up and watched it!

LAURIE-X:
Always miss you on weekends

TRACY-X:
Expecting to see your happy/tired face any day now!

I sure hope I didn’t miss anyone!

Hi all,

33 hours and 2100 miles straight in the car and we are back. We did stop twice to eat. We had a great time. Our last hike was 8 miles, 2500ft elevation change. It was quite strenuous, but rewarding. DS (younger) and I walked as fast as we could. We passed everyone on the trail and beat our group up by 30 minutes. I felt great, he was struggling some, but has some competitive nature and didn't want his Mom to beat him up. We hiked up to several lakes that were at about 13000 ft. It was beautiful.

I'm starting the June 06 rotation today. It is the one with the extra Butt workouts. It has legs 3x per week, upper twice, and cardio 3x, with a day off. I'll add in some extra yoga and probably one extra day of cardio. Today is IMAXI and 300 walking lunges, but I'm doing tomorrow's upper, CTX too, because I haven't done upper in 10 days, then I'll continue the rotation as planned.

I'm going to catch up on the last couple of days then I'll be back. If I missed anything really important, please catch me up.

Traci - I silently waved as we sailed though Texas Friday on Route 40. I hope that things don't get too bad from the hurricane. We had tax free weekend last weekend. I went to eat with my parents at the mall and I couldn't figure out why it was so crouded. People must just buy, buy, buy. We went to the coast one year and were evacuated because of a hurricane. The evacuation was a complete disaster with a lot fewer people. I can't imagine what it is like in a populated area.

Wendy - You are up early. I missed the discussion about DD. I'll try to find that. It sounds like you are doing good. After seeing the pictures of the RT I wished I'd tried to go, but we were on vacation anyways. Can anyone go visit Cathe's gym for a weekend? I don't live that far from NJ.

Off to get more coffee, and then catch up.

Tracy

TRACY!!!!!!! {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{happy dance}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
I am so happy to have you back- life is just NOT the same when one of us is gone! WOWZA on your "vacation".....LOLOLOL You are absolutely AMAZING!

Off to Walmart before nightmare crowds.... We'll catch up later! Again, so VERY happy you are back!

Good Morning Xers!!

Sorry I didn't make it back yesterday for personals, we were just busy at my mom's house. I haven't yet worked out, but I have GS BSB on tap again. I need to lift heavy for awhile to get my muscles back in shape!

Wendy -- I've never even heard of a science curriculum like that! How strange! I'm glad you were able to explain it in a way that your daughter feels comfortable with. Nathan's the same way, he doesn't even think of himself as different :D

Traci-X -- Prayers for all those down your way facing the hurricane. I'm glad you don't have to evacuate!! We haven't had a bad hurricane in years, but the last tropical storm we had knocked out power for 3 days and I was 9 mos pregnant with my youngest (she was born 5 days later). UGH! Not fun!! As for "the X", I agreed to join Wendy on her next "X" round in November last Sunday at brunch on the RT. I was already planning to start this fall, so it worked out swimmingly. So eventually I'll earn the "X", lol :)

Tracy -- Your vacation sounds AWESOME!! What a long car ride, too, ugh! That June '06 rotation looks TOUGH! I hate LB work, so I'd really struggle with it. Good luck!

SandraX -- I have different tension bands, too, and I have to say that those Firewalkers with the purple band are really awesome and evil at the same time, lol! Good ol' Cathe }(

I hope you all have a wonderful, relaxing Sunday!

Carol

Good morning,

TracyX - welcome back!! Your trip sounds extremely enjoyable. Did DH end up going, or staying? The June '06 rotation sounds intriguing. I'm going to look at it again.

WendyX - Hello early bird! Or is that, haven't-yet-gone-to-bed bird? I typed a long second post yesterday, with much discussion about your daughter's teeth, then saw it get swallowed up by the internet demons. Interesting that she may have a variation of ectodermal dysplasia. I have a condition called nevus dysplasia. It refers to the large number of moles on my skin, and the irregular shape of them. I'm pretty sure that, barring an unforseen event, mole cancer is what will get me in the end. You sound like you're having a ball on your new bike. NICE. JeanetteX will be thrilled to hear this. Amy commented on the red thong repeatedly when she started doing PYFH; drove her nuts. I often think about mentioning something, then forget when I'm sitting at the computer. When I'm doing a workout, tons of comments pop into my brain that I want to mention here, then are gone by time I sit down. I need a computer right beside my workout area :) How's your new computer? Are you having fun with it? Do you have Vista? And if so, how is it?

Cheryl - Oooh, yes! Do tell us how your lasik surgery went! What a riot your husband is!! So, did you pull off the lycra and join him?

TraciX - I'm thinking about you and Hurricane Dean. You all get such intense weather. Going 8 days without electricity would be a very difficult way to live. It offers us so many luxuries that we've come to take for granted. I want to go look at your website, but don't have the link. Could you provide it again, please? I did get through my to-do list yesterday, thanks for asking. I weeded out and organized the play room - 4 large bags of toys are out the door! It feels wonderful to walk around the main floor of the house and not see piles of stuff everywhere, threatening to collapse on top of us. I've never heard of that show "Love American Style". What was it about?

DebraX - Good day to you! What time did you get up today? Apparently CC#6 with Candace is the hardest of the series. #5 looks harder, IMO. It's the only one I haven't done yet, besides #1 (which looks too easy). It sounds like your parents provided you all with some great weekend experiences. Nice!

NicoleX - Ugh! Bridal showers! One of my least favourite things to attend! I hope it all went well. Intense little workout you did yesterday.

Anointed - Glad to hear the disposal situation got disposed of. I took TraciX's advice, too, and both cleaned and defragmented my hard drive. It seems to be running smoother now. Thanks for reminding me!

Carol - I like CC#3 very much. I've done it the most frequently. It's reasonable in length, and has a good level of intensity. I run outdoors with the CCs, so don't have to worry about waiting for the treadmill. When he talks about increasing resistance, sometimes I will do walking lunges.

Yesterday ended up being my rest day, so now I need to go do a workout. I'm having a tough time deciding on what to do. I had planned to do Hardcore Extreme #3, but it's just too intense for me this weekend. I don't know why, but I'm not feeling very motivated for exercise these last few days. Yesterday I procrastinated doing the workout until there just wasn't time to do it. Frankly, getting the house cleaned up did more good for my psyche than any workout could have. But yesterday I also felt completely exhausted in the morning. Once I hauled myself off the couch and started tidying, I got a good dose of energy. Now I'm sitting here, the clock is ticking, and I'm still not sure what I should do. Nothing sounds inviting. Certainly not anything that has aggressive jumps, etc in it. Maybe I'll do the Low Impact Circuit all-cardio premix, with the KM leg conditioning drills. That sounds about as good as I'm going to do today - and even the "blasts" in LIC seem dreadful at this point.

I'd better get going before I procrastinate my way through another no-workout day.

Have a great day,
Sandra

Hi again,

Am I the only one who LOVES to work legs? That is my favorite workout every week.

Did I miss any info about the release of the new series? I didn't see anything as I skimmed through the threads.

Traci – I’m glad to be back and get back into my usual routine. I’m really a creature of habit. I had a great time, but honestly I was happy to get a shower last night and sleep in a bed.

Sandra – I’m not into the hugs and kissing at the end of the Eion dvd either. I think that they could have done without that. I see you are still getting in yoga every day? Happy belated Bday. Ahh…. 37 candles, you are still a baby. I choose the June 06 rotation because it does legs 3x per week and I had such good results building lean muscle mass in my upper body when I worked it 3x per week. Plus I need a little more endurance for my upper. DS & DH commented that I shouldn’t let the muscles get any bigger. I always try to do what will emotionally be the most calming. If the house mess is really bothering me, then I clean, if I need a workout, then the cleaning is on hold etc. I’ve had some of my best weight workouts when I didn’t feel like doing it; you just never know. DH ended up going, and it was good for him to get away.

Jenn – Glad you are joining us. I’ve decided that coffee is one thing that I’ll never give up. I think my habit is probably a little older than yours. Good luck.

Wendy – How lucky to have bike trails so close. We only have one road bike trail here and at times it can be crowded. I need to find a yoga class to help me with my form. I try to tilt the hips correctly, but I’m sure an expert opinion would help.

Laurie – The weight switching is the main reason I haven’t done PLB recently. I have the dumbbells for PUB, so I don’t have to change plates. PLB is in my rotation for next week. I guess I’ll have change my attitude.

Swifty – I’m not sure where you are, but have fun!

Carol – Glad to have you with us. I love GS BSB. I just finished 3 weeks of GS going heavy. I got great results.

Cheryl – Laser eye surgery? I am terribly nearsighted. If I get anything done though, it will be to tighten up the increasingly noticeable bags under my eyes:)

Teddygirl – Am I reading correctly that you got the teeth out? My stitches dissolved. Sorry about the garbage disposal. I don’t use mine much because of the septic field, but it is a mess if someone forgets and puts garbage in the trash can and then the dogs get it out and string it all over the floor.

Nicole – Is the back bothering you again? I still can’t do reverse crunches. I’m trying to figure out some ab work that doesn’t work the hip flexors so much. Tightening them seems to still stress the back.

Debra – I love LM, but haven’t done it in a while. Our early day for elementary school used to be Monday. Now that I work in MS, I’m out by 2:45, and the kids are gone at 2:30. You really can’t beat that.

Amy - Hi!

Off to clean. I have tons of dirty stuff, the car is a mess, and I need to go to the grocery store.

Tracy

G'Morning Ladies ~ :)

WOW, what in the world is everyone doing up so early?? Did you even go to sleep? LOL I did do BC yesterday, you guessed it, today is a rest day. I am achy all over, from head to toe, and running a low-grade fever. I knew something was up this week, I was SOOO tired!!!

Real quick before I leave for a morning ride.

Tracy: Lookie at what I learned....

TracyX!!!! I'm so glad to see you've returned home safely!!! :) :) :) :) :) :) Your vacation sounded DOMS filled and fun! ^5^ for out hiking your group! LOL at your son's competitive spirit. Maybe, he'll join us for a round of Tony. You might be like my stretchable, bendable dh and not require too much form adjusting. Or you might be like me, thinking you're doing it right only to be humbled by a 6 month pregnant lady who can out downward dog ya!:p Drop in classes are affordable. I don't think I would want the expense of a weekly class though.

SandraX! I've learned how to outwit the computer demons. Every once in awhile, I save my post if I happen to remember. Normally, I take so long typing, I get a DC expired page when I try to post and I have to log back in. Sometimes I can click the back button and my post is still there ready for me to copy and paste. Sometimes not. :(

Okay, Phil's back with the car. He had to get coffee before I could leave.

BBL to continue personals. Then I've gotta go shopping for the twins. It's their b-day tomorrow and they don't know what they want. ARGH!!! A thought just occurred. Isn't Amy's birthday tomorrow? Wow triplets!;-)

Wendy

Welcome home, Tracy!!!

Wendy- Yes, I was posting on "company" time! No, my birthday is Wednesday, so, no triplets.

Just wanted to wave at everyone before heading to bed.....

Oh, and Traci, I did take a breather from working out. I did use the fitness room at the hotel on Monday before DH showed up, but then didn't hit it again until Friday. Oh, and all that walking on Tuesday, travelling all day Wednesday, I just couldn't get my butt to do anything Thursday!

Well, LICircuit Timesaver cardio premix got finished. But boy it felt like a chore. I've figured out that my back, shoulders, and hamstrings are all tired and tight. Not sore, just tired. I guess I worked them harder than I thought last week. I skipped the KM LCD because I think my lower back and hips need a rest. I'm going to do some Fluid Power yoga in a while, and that will help everything. Nothing strenuous; just stretchy stuff. Probably the Dancing Warrior 1008 segment, and the two Mandala Namaskars. That should make me good and dizzy :) Oooh, and maybe the hip opener segment. And the easier backbend flow. Finish up with the Slow Wave yoga. Sounds lovely. First, I'm going to knead up a batch of whole wheat bread. I made deep dark date whole wheat bread yesterday, and just had a couple slices for breakfast. Bread just doesn't get any better than that. It has dates, toasted walnuts, molasses, and carob powder in it. This produces a rich, soft, mildly sweet bread that I could live on.

TracyX - I'm happy to work legs, too. I like waking up knowing it's a no-impact, high intensity kind of day. I consider Cathe's leg workouts to be a low-impact cardio workout, on top of the weight conditioning effects. When do you start work? Do you go right into your new job? If I understand it correctly, you're working for the same employer, just a different position?

WendyX - Nice work on the coloured fonts! I saw that OD post, too, and printed it off for future reference. One day I'll go pretty on ya'll. Happy b-day shopping for the twins! Are they turning 7?

Amy - I'm impressed you did anything at all on Monday - the day after the road trip! You probably needed the break during the week. Now that you're back, will you be returning to that program you've been following? And are you strong enough to pull an SUV yet?

Jennifer - Feel better soon!

Cheers,
SandraX

Morning,

How's everyone doing today, its raining, I can feel Fall fast approaching.

Last night I started S&A did 3 rounds, I used 15lbers for every routine. Don't know what happen to me all of a sudden just did not feel up to it. Overwhelmed with stuff, i took sleeping pills and laid down, woke up in workout clothes  But, slept long and hard.

Today, I thinkkkkk is going to be a restday, I'm not feeling it today, I have 2:30 appt with sister, need coffee, bbs

Tracy: Welcome Back :)

Wendy: GC #9 :D :D

Amy: Glad you had a wonderful vacation:)

Good Morning Ladies!!!

Today is a REST day for me and I am sooo glad. It sounds like quite a few of us are up for a recovery week. I hear a lot of "I'm so tired" or "Sooo sore". I feel like I need one too. TTOM is coming soon and it wipes me out!

I am off and running this mornign but just wanted to let you know I was still alive and kickin':)

Today I will be back to chat but I'm sure you'll all be gone by then:(

Just want to say:

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY LAURIE!!!!!!!!!!

Nicole

Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, it is the basis of dynamic and creative intellectual activity. --John F. Kennedy

Sandra: The baker :) email me a loaf :+I love breads, I can live off it. My sister brought me loaf of Baker Inn Honey Whole Wheat Bread, eating a slice now with peanut butter. I don't know which one is the worst breads or chocolates hm....not crazy chocolate rule!! Enjoy your day:) and workout:)

Nicole: today could NO should be a rest day for me. I just walked into my workout room, looked around and said, not now!

Tracie: I was watching CNN news Hurricane Dean didn't realize how big it is. Sad that it's headed towards Jamaica I really feel for these people. How are you doing?

Today is officially my rest day, regrouping for tomorrow's workout I forgot that tomorrow I have to go to class immediately after work class start at 5 to 9 that sucks, I'm working Sept 25th Poll, cant believe they are starting the classes so early. But, I can use the money. I just hate they don't pay after all is said and done, we have to wait a few weeks.

Okay gotta run bath is awaiting, then headed to sister house for family meeting. Have a wonderful day everyone:) :)

Hi, everybody! Wow, so much happening!

I have re-committed to clean eating. Realized by the third day of the RT that I was feeling waaaaay too fluffy. Came home and weighed - bad shock - but I have lost 2.6 lbs this week on a standard bodybuilder style program - 5-6 small meals. I realized that my triggers lately have been too much processed food (especially Chinese - high sodium) and ice cream (!!!) They are officially OUT.
Midsection feeling and looking much better today.

Wendy, it wasn't in the presentation but in an article I read last week that it talked about interval cardio being so much better for women when it comes to weight loss. I believe it.

My eyes are doing great, thanks! 20/20 vision! I don't know what to do with myself!

Today I did PUB - abs first, while I was freshest - and then IMAX2, all but the warm-up since I was already warm. Great workout day!

Sandra, no, I didn't pull off the lycra and join DH ... NOTHING gets in the way of a workout for me and he knows that ... but there's always time afterwards ;-)

Luckily I know Cathe's routines well enough to keep going while he's talking or teasing me.

AMY so glad you are home - how will you celebrate your b-day tomorrow?? I hope you don't have to work and I hope you do something really fun. Facial? Massage? Dinner out with DH? Ah, the possibilities!!

Tracy, welcome home!! Your note reminded me - I actually did have undereye bags removed about 5 years ago. Was very glad I did. Dr. said upper eyelids are much harder to deal with - unless it's dire, better to leave them alone (I agree). But was so glad to get rid of the "baggage".

Teddygirl, sounds like you've recovered from the garbage disposal adventure. I'm so glad. Yum, PB!

Traci, sounds like your preparations are in place. Lots of PB on hand? Toast, PB and fruit spread... and dog food, of course... and you'll be fine.

Hello to Debra, Jeanette, Nicole, AmySwifty and everyone else! Have a wonderful Sunday!!!

Cheryl

Good Afternoon Ladies,

I was able to fit my ride in before the rain came down.:) I road the trail closer to my house. I went a little over 5 miles before I turned around for fear of rain. It's a pretty scenic trail once you cross over the county line which makes up for the pavement turning to gravel. I couldn't figure out how to reset the computer. My max speed was 19.5 with a guess of an average of 12 mph.

I think I'll squeeze a little lovin from Eoin tonight.

Now, onto personals!:) :) :)

TraciX: Hope you were able to stock up before the rude people ventured out and about. I avoid my local Walmart like the plague. Don't you remember me telling you how I was once physically threatened at the checkout line by an angry mom punching her toddler? Some people!!! Hey, if they're going to act all abusive in public, they should expect people to mention how abusive they are!}( It is sad if Dean roars into Mexico. PBS had a documentary on the factory workers just across the border. Not only do they barely make enough money for food, the factories pollute the area with their toxic waste. So, the locals end up with all sorts of illnesses and birth defects. Moving on.... Did I promise to do another round of the X? OMW! I think I did!!! I plan on doing a round of GS alternating with SH until the new series is released. Then I'll do a round of that before playing with Tony. I'll probably won't do RS as much as I want. So much to do, so little time! I better fit it in somewhere as I doubt I'll be doing doubles when I start the X again. Oooo! I can't wait for a picture shoutout! Get busy!!!:7

TracyX: I'm so glad your dh decided to go on vacation instead of staying at home and perhaps seething!!! You missed my unedited Roadtrip Memories Vol.2 mass email. In it, I had mentioned that all of us Xers should plan our own personal RT to Cathe's gym. I think the cost for a daily visit is around $10.00. I brought it up to Cathe at the RT. She asked that I email her to make sure she would be there. There won't be any guest speakers, door prizes, speeches or 3 workouts in a day with Cathe. But, we can all meet up and do some fun things on our own including a Cathe advanced step class! :)

Carol: Oh, yes you have heard of a science curriculum like that! It's BJU. Unless they edited their 1st grade science texts, it should still be there for you to see at your next hs conference. Is today a rest day for you? Enjoy!!! :)

SandraX: Oh, yes. I went to bed as soon as I posted last night before 8:00. I've never heard of your condition. It does remind me to have my doctor check out a mole that's sprouted recently on my arm. It's not a beauty mark by any means!!! Do you get yours removed? I didn't notice any in your picture. Did your dds inherit your condition? The doctors said dd had a 25% chance of passing on hers. I'm slowly getting used to this new computer. It's much faster than my 5 year old Dell. I was able to use my old speakers. :) I'm not a fan of the widescreen monitor. The posts appear very small when set at the correct resolution. Yes, it does have window's vista. I haven't figured out how to toggle the windows in a circular motion like the salesperson showed me. Next time I'm at the mall, I'll ask them how to do it. Phil tells me that it doesn't have a dvd burner. I think it does though. It has a dvd player and cd player/burner. Lots to learn. Today's workout sounds wise. You're good at listening to your body. Stay off the IL!!! LOL The twins are turning 9 ALREADY! I tell them to stop growing, but they don't listen to me!}( Okay, enough talking about bread. I want recipes! Or a cookbook suggestion for tasty breads like the one you made the other day!

Well, I'll have to come back for more personals after I finish shopping.

BBL
Ballistic Hugs to ALL!!!

Well, silly me. I thought I'd do some not-so-strenuous yoga today. I picked the wrong segments for that! D'oh! Don't get me wrong...I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and feel terrific now, but I worked up a sweat and I know I'll be feeling it in the upper and lower back, hips, and shoulders tomorrow.

NicoleX - Waving to you as you run through the post. How's your back?

Anointed - how about chocolate bread? }( Chocolate does indeed rule. The whole wheat bread I make is sweetened with honey, and I like the flavour. Anything tastes good with peanut butter on it! Mmmm, chocolate and peanut butter!

Cheryl - Thank you for reminding me that it really only takes a few days of good eating and exercise to get the middle feeling trim again. I've overindulged this past week, and feel quite rotund around the middle. Like the cobra who ate the elephant. I completely see the logic of doing interval cardio, but personally I find it mentally exhausting to have to crank it up so hard every day, especially when combined with heavy weight training. Are you doing it every day?

WendyX - You're loving that bike! Question: when you are out and about doing all your shopping and biking, how are the kids being taken care of? I ask because I miss the freedom of just being able to walk out the door and come home when I'm ready. Despite having 6 children, you appear to have this luxury. My moles, thankfully, did not end up on my face. They're all over my arms and legs, mostly, with some on my torso. Over the years I've had quite a number removed, but not in the last 11 years. I try to get to the dermatologist every year or two for a check. The dd's don't seem to have moles to the extent I do, although it may still be too early to say for DD#2. DD#1 was born with a flat mole on her cheek, the diameter of a pencil. She's since developed a few more on her body, but nothing to the extent of mine. Between all my moles I have a gazllion freckles. My skin is fair, and doesn't have great elasticity. I really got the short end of the stick, dermatologically speaking. Oh well, I'm not posing nude any time soon! My Dell is 5 years old, too. We're talking about replacing it. I can't believe how much cheaper they've gotten. I'm definitely into the flat monitor thing. Did you name your new computer? The only bread cookbook you will ever knead (ba ha!): Laurel's Kitchen Bread Book. By Laurel Robertson. The most recent edition has a section on using bread machines and dough hooks on KitchenAids. I have a Kitchen Aid. I decided to use the dough hook today, for the first time. I've always kneaded by hand. The machine had the dough kneaded in 10 minutes, during which I did some laundry. Normally I can spend 45mins to an hour kneading 2 loaves worth of dough. The machine did a ridiculously good job. The dough rose better than it's ever done before. Makes me resent the dang machine and want to sell it. I'm no longer kneaded ;( ;( ;(

Cheerio!
