X'ers - ***FRIDAY***

Tracy: Your response to Sandra is really interesting.... So perhaps its not the heavy weights that bulk our female lower bodies but the reps? Interesting and as I explore a new world of wts now I may just go ahead and pick a wt I can do more reps with. It will be easy enough to see if I start bulking again so I can always re-adjust. Thanks for posting all that.
No worries - I'm not "sick"... I just have suffered terribly with my peri stuff and am really tired of self medicating. I dont choose HRT for myself so I have been exploring Bio Identicals for a few years but was always cost prohibative for me. For 2 years its slowly gone from taking away quality of life ... first it was 1 of 4 weeks, then 2 and now its well over 3 weeks a month that I am not even human....time to deal with it. The hardest part I have taken care of-Clean Eating, regular exercise and now I just need to get hormones leveled out. Nothing to worry about... Thanks for being concerned.

SANDRA: If & when Doc says cease caffeine I will limit myself to 2 regular javas a day (BIG ONES!) and then switch to decaf... If I get everything leveled out I see no reason to wake up everyday searching for a gun because I cant have my coffee! lol
Good heavens I DID give up powdered creamer last week.. what more can the doc possibly ask for??????? A girls gotta live a little eh???:+ Thanks for Octopus ^^ 5's! I had to do quite a jig to keep up with you! YES- today is a very happy day indeed. I am equally excited to have all the X'ers see this through because if nothing else we all seem to be learning so much about what we are capable of... thats a great thing in & of itself. I also cant wait to see all the grads posting the workout of the day... You KNOW I'll change my rotation at least 50 more times! YES I do believe a garage apartment can save a marriage during hormonal changes! My DH sure gets quiet around here alot and then my nastiness leaves and I cry uncontrollably begging him to not hate me... He is the dearest man in bear skin clothing... many times he crys with me because he doesnt know how to fix this. I just adore him. I keep telling him to hang tough because when I get "balanced" he may get his wild woman back! Thats the hardest part for us as a couple I guess... anyway probably TMI!

STEPH: Meant to tell you "DITTO" on what Sandra said about reading posts from PM......I always go back and read all the posts from previous days.. Shoot Debras usually a late poster and Sandra has been known to sneak in really late ones, Lea too... OH HECK- I think all of you stay up much later than I! Anyway, its never a wasted post!

Great weekend to all who will be MIA Sat & Sun... I'll be around for sure as I am hitting the weights again tomorrow but without Tony... I'm SCARED!;(

I don't know if I am done. If I feel better tomorrow I will do Core Synergistics and Sunday yoga X, then I am done. But no leaving here.

Good evening,

Very late now, watched a 1942 Sherlock Holmes movie with DH. He and I also did Gilad's Abwork instead of AbX. He said he liked it. I really felt it too, just a change of focus, which is good. Wonder if I will be sore tomorrow. Have KenpoX on tap and then DH and I will take our Yamaha Rhino out on the desert for the day. Glad I didn't do Legs today. Weather should be really nice for the bike ride on Sunday. Can't wait!

Traci, your first link to adrenal fatigue didn't work for me, but I did a little bit of looking around anyway. Hope you get some help for your symptoms. Don't think I have anything like that going on. Have wondered about Hypothyroid, may have to get tested. Always looking for some reason why it's so hard to drop a single pound.

Debra, you've got me looking forward to KenpoX now. I'm going to try the ex-marine stuff. I like it that it's not a routine either.

Monica, hope you get some answers soon, goodness, you've waited long enough. I have a haircut on Tuesday and looking forward to it. It sure has grown fast in the last 6 weeks. It gets so heavy on top and won't hold the curl well, gets flat. Hate that. 60 miles at approx. 15 mph average will take around 4 hours or less, plus any stops for food. It is a very flat route, but just depends on the speed of the group. If someone lags, we slow down and wait. Just depends.

Tracy, I'm with you. When I finish P90X, I'm going to just do my own thing for a week or so, nothing all that structured, just fun workouts and variety. I've missed my Christie Taylors and Turbo Jams too, besides Cathe, of course. I do struggle with leg workouts and bike riding as I hate to have my legs fatigued even before a bike ride starts. Beings I ride about 3 times a week during cycling season, it's tough to work around.

Sandra, sounds like you are doing well with your DH. Tonite, DH and I did Gilad's ab workout for something different. I thought DH might just head for the Bowflex and do his crunches (which I don't think are that great), but he started doing the DVD with me. He moaned and groaned as usual, but persisted, even doing the stretches at the end. He claimed that he liked this workout. I'm hoping he will do some more of the Gilad weight workouts as they are good and have guys in them. Also makes my job easier. Planks were tough for my DH. He's shaking pretty good at 30 seconds, but getting a bit better. I would rather he do planks and side planks and core moves more doing crunches on the Bowflex. At least we didn't get into a fight or power struggle LOL! Has your DH been out riding yet?

Lea, so sorry you still are not quite up to par. Last year, I got a cold that drug on for weeks (like about 5-6). Cardio was tough for me. That was last January and haven't had one since, but I'm sure when I get one, it'll be a doozy. You are soooo close too. I'm really, really happy for all of you. How are your results?

Got to go, will check in the morning,

Jeanette

Hi -

Traci, just to let you know I posted my measurements on the January starters thread. Okay, I didn't do badly. I can't believe the size of my waist!!!!!! I never realized how proportionately huge it is! I guess I'm not an "hourglass". (lol)

Have a great day!!! What an active thread you girls have going over here.

Nancy

ETA Ooops - posted on the wrong thread!
