Doing a full body plus some floor legs today… Integrated Strength Training by Jeffrey Scott…& probably B&G Floor. Sure wasn’t feelin’ the love on the Shock Your Body rotation- I think I just simply miss straight forward lifting.

DH willl be home around 3 or 4 today so pretty much a full free day...

Debra X!!! Hope you and Eoin had a MAH-VA-LOUS date night! How was that restaurant? ~ Thanks for overview on Wilpower & Grace…. I caved and ordered! I found it at deep discount for 12 bucks… actually it kinda sounds like Amplify Your Strength with Spreen… I like that one. Praying for a low stress level call for you & DD today!

Tracy X!!! I really can’t believe you did ALL those workouts yesterday! I’d say you have overall endurance! Was that a 3 hour workout day? ~ Lol on the dust in bedroom! I have some mental block to dusting in there- not sure why but it’s always a forgotten room. ~ The shoulder is healing…. I haven’t had any more issues with the nerve damage so I know the stretching daily and no lifting (to speak of) is helping. The original injury of months ago is even slightly better I think… We’re on the right track as long as I keep icing up in AM & PM and stretch arms throughout the day… I also have found a sleeping position that doesn’t seem to exacerbate the problem so I am waking up with less pain each day. Funny about mowing- Actually pushing of things doesn’t irritate it but the starting of mower is killer (pulling) – Pulling the cables for back work yesterday was sensitive but I also HAVE to work the back so I just went lighter on load and focused on strong back contraction.

Hi all,

I did B.Kest Sweat last night and that is such a great workout to do after upper body because it has lots of slow controlled pushups and for me inncorporates upper body strength. I was actually able to grab my foot and almost straighten my leg in the side plank. I'm sure the form needs some work:)

Today is light cardio 1/2 hour, abs, and yoga. We are going down to our property, so it will be much later before I get to workout.

I've been really bad about preparing food to take to work for lunch and I'm eating a power bar almost daily. Any suggestions?

Debra - I envy you and your wonderful bed. I haven't had a decent night's sleep in months. Isn't the melting pot fondue? I used to love that when I was a kid. Every time I here Wilpower & Grace it reminds me of the tv show, which I don't watch. Be strong on that phone call; I know you will:)

Traci - No it wasn't 3 hours, 1.5 for the weight work and then about 45 for the yoga. I see you caved and bought Wil & G. I looked in my closet yesterday and I have about 15 dvds that I never do. It may be time to purge, but no one else probably wants them either. Glad the arm is feeling better. I was stretching 3x per day right after the original injury. Now I can actually have days that I don't do yoga and I'm OK. I'm still struggling with hip flexor/groin type pull that won't seem to go away. It was fine when we were on vacation, but flared up immediately when I started working out again. I flirt with going to the dr, but it's not that bad.

Traci - One more thing on the straight forward lifting. I'm with you on that. I personally have to be in the mood for all of these pulses and half reps etc. I'm assuming they are used to add intensity when using lighter weights. Have you seen the pictures of Fitness Freak? I think she just does straight forward lifting and she looks great. I don't think she does any floorwork either. I keep meaning to go over there and ask. You know I'm always looking for excuses for omitting floorwork.

Good morning. The Traci/y's are a little chatty this morning and bringing it with their workouts! Good going girls.

We went to Legoland yesterday and I think that the whole clan was tired, but stayed the whole time. No need to workout this morning since it feels like I worked out from yesterday doing all of that walking. But tomorrow I will bring it with GS legs. Yay!!

Off to do my shopping and then clean the house. Woo hoo. Have a great Sunday everyone.

Afternoon:)

Quick check in this morning I did Scrambled Eggs only an hour and then I went for a 40 minute walk and hurried out to church. My sister is over and were justed kicking it. I check back later have a great day everyone:) :)

Sorry I've been awol - brother and his wife and children have been here over the weekend and we all had a wonderful time. Great family occasions. I managed C&W this morning. That was all. Saturday ended up being a day off x(
