Xer ...... Fit and Fierce Friday !!!!!!!!!!!

Sandra: No family this year:) only my two sons and there girlfriends and maybe grand babies, that’s it:) I just don’t feel like being bother with family this TGx( hope that doesn’t sound bad but..........I really just want too stay home eat and do whatever. Ditto that on KM leg drills, I’m not really sure why I struggle so much with Imax 3 as far as reaching for it as much as I love Imax one and two Imax 3 just seems so hard maybe I'll revisit it while doing the X who knows.

Okay...back for a few personals.....

Lea...Have fun with your won little urchins today...and give Eoin a big kiss for me when you see him...LOL!

TG...Sounds like you are about ready for turkey day! I am sure your day will be relaxing without the whole crowd there.

Swifty...Waving as you head off to study! Just stop by and say hello when you can.

Laurie...Sounds like your oldest DD is very well rounded...that will serve her well later in life. So happy Cami will have a friend (even if he does have a weird name) to play with this weekend. I am sure they will both be worn out. Have fun with Cathe today!

Carol...Thanks for the posting the pics of you and Wendy in your almost touch with glory! LOL! Have fun with total body today...whatever you decided to go with. I haven't done any of the premixes yet, so I don't know how they flow.

Jeanette...Glad you are waving good-bye to the bloat...I wish mine would head out with yours...or maybe I'm just getting fat! I bet germs spread in prison like wildfire, too. I don't think there were but a couple of urchins who didn't have the sniffles today. Good you got to catch up with your girlfriend yesterday. Hope you had fun watching the tube with DH...Hope you didn't miss anything with all of his jabbering...LOL!

Wendy...Glad you seemed to get something out of your "basic" yoga afterall!

Traci....No, the fine print reads that I can't cohabitate either...and I thought about it after and it kind of su**s that XDH could remarry without any consequences, but I would lose a big chunk of money...That doesn't seem quite fair, now, does it? I may try to get the cohabitate out of the contract before it's over and done with...I don't want to remarry, but I would assume that down the road, I may actually meet a man that I would like to live with...Who knows...maybe I should tell him to keep his own place so that I can send him home when I want...LOL! The only I reason I got married to XDH instead of just living together is because we eventually wanted to have children, and I thought it would be better for all involved if we were married. Although, in the end, I think being married just kept us together longer than we should have been. My BFF is the same way about kids right now...she is a bit older than you, but this is the first time in her life that she has felt ready to have kids, and now of course, she can't...and her DH would not favor the idea either. I am glad we had DD when we did..and not too young. I was 34 when she was born...and I was barely ready then! I bet your hips will eventually loosen up more...I know mine are still tight, but by visiting with Eoin pretty frequently I can tell a difference. All of the poses you to make me grunt...now only a couple do!

Sandra...Glad you and your urchin had a good time at class last night...You must have been the talk of all the moms about how great of shape you are in! I have actually had less colds since XDH went to Russia...he was always catching something. It's been better since he has been gone...I guess I need to add that to my pro list! I will definitely give you a gold star for your motherhood for watching the Teletubbies....UGH..I always hated that one!

Nicole...Waving as you fly by!

Okay...gotta go get DD packed for her over night with Nana...Then I have to take the kitty to the vet. I am very disappointed since neither of the movies I want to see are playing at the local theater...I may go see "American Gangster" with Denzel and Russell Crowe instead....hmmmm. Remind me to let you know about the new yoga I did tomorrow. Have a good night all!

Ate lunch, previewed Baron Live Core Strength, chatted on the phone, and took a quick 10 minute nap. Math will wait until Phil gets home. He's gotta get into the groove. Time for personals.:)

Before I do, I should tell you what I have on tap for today. I'm planning on doing some Cardio and Weights or just cardio. :) I was going to do Baron Live. But, I'm going to yoga class with Jen tomorrow late afternoon. I'll acquaint myself with him in Thailand.

Oh! And for the record, I am not your typical mother yelling at her kids in public. I despise having to witness such displays of affection. LOLOLOL Really, I'm down right prideful my kids are well behaved. (Partly, because they would rather suffer death than draw attention to themselves. But, that's besides the point.) Even in public, eldest ds would only draw attention from strangers by pretending to talk like he was gay and Chinese. He did it to embarrass me. However, eldest ds knew how to push my buttons by talking back to me at home. I don't care if he disagreed and thought he was right and I was wrong. However, I didn't need to hear it. I would have been content to deal with an eye roll or sigh. All I wanted to hear was Yes Mam!:p :7 A salute would have been nice too! LOL

Carol: Yes! I saw that. I didn't know you at the time our pictures were taken. How cool you were standing next to Jen. I have that picture framed on my upstairs bookcase. I'll have to get the magnifying glass out and look more closely! LOL

TG: I don't have or have any intention of getting IMAX3. I hardly reach for IMAX1 or IMAX2. I'm not a fan of cardio. I don't think you're bad for wanting a peaceful, restful Thanksgiving. It's fun to have a large family gathering, but it can be stressful making sure everyone is taken care of all day!

Debra: I'm crossing all my movable body parts (not many are moving today!) that you get a spot in the anatomy class. I'm sure you'll do fine! Next time you volunteer, you need to have the kids make alcohol dipped cotton necklaces to wear.}( The smell shouldn't bother them. Cuz, how can they breath through all that mucus! }( You know, if I was a working mom, I'd have checked off that I helped with homework when I didn't! :p But, still. Some kids will read the same book over and over. Until that little light bulb goes off, you'd think they were reading it for the first time!!! I don't envy teachers either! They've got one heck of a tough job!!! Oh! I think Jen doesn't have PY4H yet. If you don't get any takers, I could ask her tomorrow if she's interested. I don't blame you for not wanting to go through pregnancy again! My sister had her last baby a few years ago at 37. It was tough on her physically compared to when she was in her 20's! I was in the delivery room thinking: Glad it's not me giving birth!!! Oh! About the Basic Flow class... It's not Basic as in Beginner's class. I find it to be the most difficult of all the classes they offer. It just means they get down and dirty right off the bat and don't stop until an hour and a half later. The Power Hour class sounds like it would be the hardest. Ended up being the easiest in terms of endurance and strength. I vote to milk soon to be XDH for all you can for as long as you can! Yes, that sounds cruel. I don't care. Unless someone half as wealthy as Bill Gates proposes, stay single.

Nicole: Have fun today! Eat some dessert for me!:) I wished Carol lived closer to Malvern. I'd be dragging her to yoga class once a week if she did!!! Nicole, you just continue parenting your boys like you have been. No telling how they'll end up anyhow. By the grace of God, go I!!! Bootcamp was in eldest ds' future. He just decided early enough to get paid for it instead of it being part of his sentence. LOLOLOLOLOL

Sandra: Ewwww! Teletubbies!x( I banned that from my girls' viewing pleasure. Does that make me the worst mother of the year? Are you sure you don't want Denise Austin? Traci thinks she's tolerable!!!:7 :+ Check you and dd out! ^^5^^ for showing the other mothers and their children off! Have fun this weekend of partial freedom and live adult conversation!!! Okay, If I can't use malaria as an excuse, can I use being eaten alive by a crocodile? I haven't heard if they caught the rest of 28 crocs that escaped during the monsoon floods in the city where we're staying.

Amy-X: Is there anyone nearby who could tutor you? I was always paying tutors for help in college. Guess my power of charm and looks weren't enough! LOL How do you like Long and Lean? The yoga studio had that dvd for sale too.

Lea-X: I'm hurt! I didn't get a wedding invitation either! Are your kids at least invited?!?!?! Save me some wedding cake. Fed Ex can deliver it straight to the jungles of Thailand!:+

Traci: Lea's 3 day rest was spent planning her wedding!;) Talking to myself: YES! Well, no. I think I say things aloud ALL the time. I even get mad at Phil because I'll think I told him something. Now, he just asks, "Did you use your voice when you told me that?" ROFL However, I do hum to myself all the time. I enjoy singing aloud in the privacy of my car.:D You are such a thoughtful wife! I would LOVE to have another baby. I don't push Phil to undergo another reversal. BTW, it was his decision to have the first reversal the first time. Anyhow, he did tell me I wasn't allowed to buy a baby in Thailand.:7 :7 :7 Getting back to inversions (headstands, handstands, anything upside down) When I went to that Ivengar class in State College, the instructor gave us a lot of form pointers that made a simple headstand seem like a LOT of WORK! Point your toes, get up on your shoulders, don't place too much strain on your neck, draw your abs in!!!!! tighten your glutes and legs. OH! And remember to breath.:)

Jeanette: LOL about your children not ending up at your work! I have a theory based on my personal experience. The easier they are to birth, the more difficult they are to raise!!! So, far my theory holds true! Yippee! The bloat and added pounds are melting away. I always have to remind myself that it's temporary. Am I going to be gone for your birthday? When exactly is it? Gosh! I'll have to seek out a internet cafe ASAP to wish you a Happy Birthday!!!! The only Luna Bars they had at the yoga studio were ones with chocolate. The Chai flavored ones sound really good though! I'll have to see if I can find any to take with me.

Laurie: I usually fall asleep early into a preview in bed too. However, Baron didn't shut up long enough for that to happen!!!! By the time I did fall asleep, dh had turned down the volume. I guess he couldn't handle Baron either. ^^5^^ to your dd! She must take after you!!!! Let us know how it goes. A few pictures of her in costume would be nice too!

Tracy: You are more than welcome to HAVE my BCC dvds. PM me your address and I can get them out to you tomorrow! If you don't like them, you can pass them on to someone who might.

Okay Ladies, I've gotta to do some more laundry. Chat more later!

Ballistic Hugs to ALL!
Wendy

Ok, gang. I HAD to pop in here after your humurous posts. I should have said that I have to pick up a certified copy of my marriage liscence. I need to get a passport with my name change on it, and I can't find mine anywhere, so down to the courthouse I go to obtain another copy. You silly girls:+ .

Lea

Yippee! Lea is going to visit me in Thailand!!!:7 :7 :7 Why else get your passport name changed? Could there be any other reason why?!?!?! There's an extra spot waiting for you underneath our 4 man mosquito net!}( I was saving it for Jeanette. But, she's too busy trying to get her promotion activated. You know. It's a government thing. By the time she sees the vacation money, I might be back home. Anyways, remember, soak your clothes and get some deet! Don't worry about a thing. I'll be bringing Tony for us!:p :7 ;)

Wendy

Wendy - You got it. Thailand here I come. BUT, Tony is not going to do it for me this time around. It has to be Eion or no one:+ :7 ;) .

Traci - You gals are sooooooo crazy:p }( .

Lea

Hi all,

DS and I had a nice run in the cold. Considering I had felt like I was hit by a truck Wednesday night, I felt pretty good today. We ran in on short steep hills then did 3 longs ones on the way out. DS led, so I had to follow his pace, which is just different than my usual pace. Then I did 40 minutes of some easy yoga. I decided against Costco, I just couldn't bear the thought of it tonight.

You all are so talkative today!

Wendy - I don't know where you find the time to post. I can barely keep my head above water. Well, I used to have all morning, now I have to study just a little. You did get a computer to take with you didn't you? You may have electronic withdrawals if not.

Debra - Yes, education these days is quite the challenge. I'm not even sure how to describe it. Over involved parents, under involved parents, parents who just want to blame the system, and a few who genuinely want to work with the school to do what is best for their kids. Some parents are absolutely obsessed with grades. The ones whose kids are in GT are beyond difficult to deal with.

Traci - The lean rotation huh? I'm still going to wait for the new Tony dvds. I'll go all out after the holidays. I'm still liking the results I'm getting for legs right now.

Lea - Off to Thiland, that sounds like a fun trip! Are you taking Eion?

Nicole - How are you feeling? Come to find out, FIL is not doing very well. Things have gone downhill and I'm not sure what the health issues are nor what they are going to do.

Sandra - A new exercise class? That sounds like fun! Are you doing the lean rotation too? I just couldn't think of those same dvds for 90 days, just yet.

Laurie - I struggle to exactly replicate rotations too. I'm not totally sticking with the Cathe one I'm doing because I can only run on certain days, and her rotation only calls for running once a week or none. I'm not ready to quit the running just yet. It just does great things for me. I am sticking with the weight work, just manipulating the cardio and upper.

TG - I'm planning my meal this weekend. I rarely try anything new, but I might this time. I'm going to do some sort of relatively healthy apple cobbler. Can you see where my priorities are? I'm going to brine the turkey, have you ever done that?

That's all I can remember, I'll chat with everyone who is around tomorrow.

Tracy

Sorry I haven't made it back today girls:(

My DS is pregnant with her fourth and she is having complications. She was pregnant with twins and one of them died. The other baby is alive and has a strong heartbeat but the doctors are worried that the dead fetus may kill the live one. She is really upset and I am sad for her as well.

On to a lighter note, it's pizza and movie night so I have to be with the fam. I'll have more time to chat tomorrow. Missed chatting today.

Nicole

Bring it!!!

Hi,
Had a good day at work today. Got lots done and also found out that the promotion is being blessed by the Warden so should happen fairly soon. Think there are 3 of us that have upgradable positions and all should be approved. Yeehaw!

Laurie, congrats to your DD for landing the good part in the play! I grew up with 3 other sisters that were really into acting during high school, but I never was into it. My older sister teaches it at different schools. She's always been a real ham. How is Cami's sleepover going? Our female German Shorthair likes to squat and pee too. Then little Tillie comes behind and pees on top of the pee. So males aren't the only ones to mark their territory. Hope TTOM goes by quickly. You will lose the bloat, but it sure seems like every month I worry about it staying permanently. Glad you are going to try LIS. I hope you like it. I think it's fun and just the right length. It's not real intense, which is okay in my book. Can't wait to see pics of your furniture. I was trying to read this whole thread tonite and DH was yakking and yakking about the American Indians and the Trail of Tears and all this stuff. I was trying to look like I was listening to him, but was really reading this. Bad wife. He's asleep now, thank goodness. I finally had to leave the computer room as it was getting tougher for me to play the charade of listening to him talk.

Wendy, you mentioned frog in your yoga. I forgot all about that move. I always wondered if I'd not be able to get out of that move someday.

Traci, thanks for the good vibes today with my job upgrade. I'm feeling so much better about it now that the Warden is aware of it and in favor. It'll take me a few years to reach the top level of pay in that class, but that's okay. You were laughing about me, my son and the TV. You should have seen me tonite with DH trying to talk to me while I was trying to read this lengthy thread. Don't think I fooled him that I was interested in what he was saying. I just wanted him to shut up!!! He's sleeping in the rocking chair now so I snuck back in here. Sweet dreams my love. So Wendell is staying home this weekend? Has he been working out too, or just dieting? Reminds me of the cartoon commercial that shows the lady that loses weight but only in her boobs. Aint that the truth? I'll be looking to you for some creativity during my X so I don't get bored. You talked me into this, you've got to help me out! So far, I've stayed away from Splenda this week. I'm almost out of Stevia though. I've been using honey for my hot cereal in the morning, but also sugar. At least it's not chemicals is what I'm telling myself. That's good to know about the muscle confusion with the Lean Rotation. Hoping it works for me. How was the afternoon client?

Sandra, bet you impressed the others by your endurance during Jump & Pump. Way to go on the burpees! Wow, 4 years without a cold. April 2008 will be 2 years for me without a cold. Hope I make it. Talk about prattling tonite, I just wanted to yell out SHUT UP tonite to DH. I could have used the Zen type tonite. I did Classic and got a little bit too much bunchiness of muscle in my short arms (for my taste) so thought I'd go for less. Something different anyway.

Debra, hoping you don't catch anything from the little urchins. Enjoy the movie tonite. No CB to watch it with you? The girlfriend that I got to visit with yesterday is a golfer too. I'm hoping we can get together next year and play regularly. Reminds me I need to check out Zappos for golf shoes again. I found out what kind of cleats I can wear on the course (soft ones). How was the new yoga?

Anointed, we are having a small get together on Thursday. Fine with me, we've had some large gatherings lately.

Wendy, my birthday is on Thanksgiving this year, but I'll be thinking about you breezing thru the lines at the airport. Luna bars come in all kinds of flavors. Most of them I really like. I'm sure you'll find them. Walmart has tons of them too. I can't even fathom having another baby. What a gem Phil is to go thru a reversal. One little surgery down there for my DH was enough. Of course, he thought they'd cut the wrong thing. I think your theory about birthing and raising children is right on with my grandkids. My DS was a C-section, but was pretty much trouble free growing up, pretty much... I would love, love, love to go to Thailand. I'll be waiting to read every little bit that you write for us.

Lea, of course it was a copy of your marriage certificate. What were we thinking? I had to get a copy the other day for DH's new health insurance.

Tracy, glad you had a nice run with your DS. I know what you mean about not wanting to spoil time with a trip to the store, let alone a busy Costco. Sorry FIL is not well. That makes things more stressful for your DH, and then rolls to you. My sister is brining her turkey. She does that every year and it's so good.

Nicole, I'll be praying for your DS and the baby. Enjoy your pizza and a movie. What are you watching? I have Happy Gilmore coming tomorrow. I've never seen it and it seems fitting for my most current hobby.

Got to go and check out Zappos. Oh yeah, we are woodcutting tomorrow. Going to help DH and my Dad.

Jeanette

Hey, gang---just checking in to tuck everyone in for the night.

Tonight was 4DS Upper body and man, did Cathe wear me out!!! I couldn't get all the rounds done due to time constraints, but I felt the awesome "noodle-arms" sensation at the end of the workout. After doing mainly total body weights for the last 4-5 months, I am going to do splits for a while.....and no, Sandra, I haven't been talked into trying the X again...;-)

I am going to have to study the 4DS workouts again in order to better decide how to work the splits better. The "all upper body" premix doesn't have a warm-up nor a cool-down/stretch section included in the time.

Saturday will be HIIT on the elliptical and Sunday is going to be lower body weights from 4DS......}( }( }(
