X-TRAIN Supercuts review

I will not say that much:
THAT'S. THE.WAY.TO.WORK. !!!!!
I know I have been away from the forum for long, but I still was looking forward this new series and this workout in paticular. It is amazing, the concept of metabolic training that I started to love thanks to Afterburn or Cardio Supersets is taken to a whole new level...No dread factor at all, the exercises flow by one after the other, all muscles are truly worked and the sequence/selection of moves are tailored to a super fun /super charged with energy routine.
Some moves are known, other ones are new and pretty challenging, I must admit I did only 5 of the last 8 rounds of sit-ups/push-ups (so plenty of room to grow) but I started to feel the burn in my legs/glutes and core the minute I switched my pc off and wiped away the sweat dripping from my forehead.
The music is great and kept me motivated from start to finish.
Keep a towel and water handy, it's a non-stop journey in the land of fun and hard work at the same time! Could we ask for more?
Thank you Cathe for another gem among all of your creatures!!!

I did Supercuts this morning too and really liked it! Similiar to Athletic Training, I felt that the first half of the workout was much harder than the second half. The music was fantastic and the exercises were lots of fun. It does require a fair amount of equipment. I wrestled with getting the firewalker loops onto my thighs (they kept rolling up and bunching into a single compressed line) before just tying a stretch band around them. Oh...and the dixie cups lunges were back! Ellie is right about the ending sequence. It seems easy but fives straight arm situps followed by five pushups for eights sets was pretty tiring. Fantastic use of the bands too throughout the workout. One last thing, I wouldn't recommend this workout after a leg day unless you are really glutton for punishment!

Copied and pasted my review here:

I did supercuts this morning -- two words -- OH YEAH! :p Cathe says that a lot in this one. My granddaughter says "oh yeah" (she is 15 months old) a lot so I think that's why I tuned into it. :)
This is my kind of complete body workout. From the warm up to cool down!! Light weights(that don't feel light), the band work is great (I did have to trade in the blue band for the pink band a couple of times ). AND those ab kick outs are murder!! I did fall on my butt, Cathe warns you. I can tell this workout is going to be one of my most favorite go to workouts! I had to modify the burpees(always do) and some of the pushup routines. Fast moving, lots of energy, and I love all the smiles.
The only thing I would have changed(this is very personal to everyone) was the music, when I work out with weights I don't need anyone yelling at me, I like to concentrate on form, the music is vocal and I would prefer instrumental music.

Over all a great full body workout that left every inch of me soaked.
Cathe did a great job introducing exercises into a new, fun routine. :D

Did I mentioned I loved it -- OH YEAH! :p:p

This is the first workout I've done in the new series. I just finished it and I loved every minute! It moves quickly and it is fun to do. :D I did the Extreme version with Core #1. Oh YEAH!! :p

I'm so jealous; I've been dying to get my DVDs so I could do this workout, and mine didn't come today. :( Oh well, please keep the reviews coming. I'm really enjoying them.
