WW's Last Week of June

Nothing plan yet! I had coffee this morning. Lunch will be garden salad with two boiled eggs. Dinner????
Don't forget about breakfast! Most important meal of the day even if it's only a piece of fruit or toast or something!!!!!!!!!!!:)

Well today is i think plyo legs (i like to do some legs 2x a week) followed by some kind of cardio...i am eyeing peak cardio but since i will be away from my step i am trying to convince myself i should step (i'll be 4 weeks with no step)

Getting pretty psyched up about my vacations and hoping i can keep up some type of work out. I have travel fit for the weights and will supplement with pushups and for cardio well i have portable dvd player and all my kickboxy new ones as well as turbo fire. I mostly plan on walking for fitness In italy we are staying in the mountains so i think i should be ok. As long as i don't gain weight i will be happy:D

Wendy: I think my next purchase besides dvds is going to be a kettlebell. I was shocked you didn't do plyo legs...i love those workouts and when i am not in the mood to do anything (ie cardio funk) they are always able to convince me to give it a go!
Do you do the bodyrock for cardio??? i know you are stsing now..just being nosy:D
BTW where are you going on vacation???? are you actually going to orlando for CATHE???? i would be curios to see if she wears all that makeup IRL?


Allee: kpc sounds like a good workout...i dont have it but just the name gives me shivers..

For those of you who have done the MMA from SC : don't you want to exterminate those guys??? Why she decided to put men in a workout is beyond me...especially the guys she put! for crying out loud they really need to give a better effort and stop looking like they were forced to be in the video!

When she says to grab em and pound em...guess who i am thinking about?;)

Steph:: I am going away to the casinos down in Atlantic City (A/C for short) for the holiday weekend so it's not exactly a vacation as much as just a little get away. DH and I do it several times a year with my mom and her significant other. It's lots of fun. My son stays with my MIL and SIL and has a blast there so everyone is happy! :) I am using the Squat Rack Legs for STS this round so I never even considered doing Plyo this morning. :p Perhaps I'll use those work outs in my 2nd round! ;) Body Rock offers cardio and I have done a couple work outs. They are killer and I plan on doing one while in A/C cause I don't need any equipment but my Gym Boss Timer. Most of the BR work outs I've done so far, regardless of what they are targeted for, offer a cardio work out to some degree. Alot of her work outs are intervals of a cardio move and a strength move so I'm always huffing and puffing away! Even if they are ALL strength they STILL make me breathe/sweat like I'm being chased! :eek::p Italy-how nice! Have a wonderful time! My hubby is italian and wants to go there someday. That's fine but he'll have to get me to agree to go on a plane for that long first! :eek: I am not a fan of flying though I *AM* getting better so maybe some day....I did survive the flight to Vegas a few times in my life already so I'm getting closer!;)

Ladies, I did cathe push up challenge. I managed to do ONE!!!! Yay Me!!! Lol!!! Its a start, right?
 
Going to see my grandma with my dad and the kids..hubs is staying home to work. when i get back its off to florida (2 days at disney) and then to texas to see my sister...my son who loves planes calculated that he will be on 12 planes this summer!

AC: do you live nearby?

Just did plyo legs and eating my salad before tackling the firewalkers... i know they only really work a tiny muscle but i love it that they are always gauranteed to give doms if you do 100! masochist in me;)

I have to grab the tv in little breaks because my son the wii addict is trying to beat the donkey king game;)

Allee: do not dispair with the push-ups once you get started the improvement is pretty fast and then you plateau big time. Start off on your knees..
When i am doing a lot of them i start off with the real ones and as i get too tired i switch it up to the knee ones...(p90x..chest and back..)

Well i have done my cardio for the day!mma:boxing...
so i have done all 3 of them and they are very doable..i am surprised because i generally dont like the boxing stuff but they were fun... we will see how long it lasts though..

Allee: have you tried p90x??? they have a workout that is basically push-ups (10 different kinds:eek:) and pull-ups!!!

So i am all showered up and finished the execizes for the day...now i only have to watch what i eat:mad:

Yesterday was my "free day", so nothing "healthy" to report ;)

Since every seems to be doing some sort of kickboxing, maybe I'll join in the fun and do that today as well!

And, then it's also back to the clean diet today! It's tough over this holiday weekend, so many cookouts etc!

Allee....I do some of my pushups with my hands on my aerobic step (usually at 6 inches) the elevation makes the straight leg pushup a bit easier, but they're harder than on the knees, so it's a nice happy medium!

Hey girls i must have been for shadowing when i said i just had to watch what i ate.... had a mini cookie meltdown last night at 11pm....sooo not good:(

Today...i still haven't decided.. i am leaning towards a total body weight like hi-reps perhaps or the gym styles (both upper body ones) I am trying to get in as much wt before i leave because then i will be depending on travel fit to keep everything from turning mushy..
haven't decided on the cardio though...
 
Steph, how long will be in Italy?

Allee....dont get in the mindset thinking that your bday cookout will ruin everything. Nobody but you can control how much food goes into your mouth. Even if things arent healthy, you can eat the best things there and then just watch your portion size. Also drink tons of water, maybe with lemon even, while you're there. Good Luck!

I did Ilaria's Powerstrike workout. I had forgotten how much I liked this workout!! I followed that with the abs from KCM Muscle Definition, great ab section!

I am leaving for Italy on Wednesday and will be there for 15 days (grandma), then i am going to Florida for a week (my rest week from weights i figure) and the Texas for another week (ok another rest week at my sis) I still haven't figured out what to do in Florida ie: if i should continue travel fit or rest for 2 weeks... I will be walking a lot so i am not super worried about cardio but we shall see.

Allee: ditto what Stacy said. If you go with the "i am going to screw up anyways mindset" you will have to roll your way outta there;)

I am not sure how often i will be able to check in bc i don't really have any sort of data plan..
I have to say i am anxious to see what i get down to for the 4th july...
remember we had original goals in may??? i bet i will be at the same exact weight! (hopefully not more)
 
3 miles on the treadmill, mostly jogging with some walking and random elevation/incline changes. Knee felt pretty good. Followed that with abs from B&G.

B--low sugar oatmeal (3PP)
L/S--string cheese, 6 almonds (2PP)

D--cookout here later, going to have to practice the portion size mantra!

Going out of town tomorrow, will be back Tuesday night, planning on HR Upper Body before we leave!

Happy early 4th to everyone!

(My goal was 125 by the 4th, I know that wont happen, but my goal now will be to weigh less than last Wednesday's weigh-in!)

still no workout for today...thinking maybe rest since i also ended up doing a hiit yesterday

I had another super meltdown last night..eating ice cream and chocolate..i am thinking i need to eat more during the day to keep the night time crapfest at bay (sorry for being vulgar)

have agreat couple of days away and try to sit on your hands tonight;)

BTW how the heck can you eat 6 almonds and a string cheese for lunch and not be a starving monster???:D

felt guilty about the cadury mini eggs i wolfed down...don't know what up with me...something must be bothewring me because i hadn't eaten any chocolate in almost a month...ill try to ponder that before i lose (or gain) all the progress i had sort of made ..
