WW's Last Week of June

just tried step moves...made it until 30 min mark...very brain heavy...have to think a lot...

I left it there and am going for a relaxing no brainer after supper walk..

Stacy and Wendy: still deciding if i like kickboxing... i always feel a little ridiculous doing it..never sure if i am getting my hips they way they say i should..

Tomorrow is weights...i am thinking shoulders and arms..my fav...we shall see....maybe chest and back... haven't done push ups in awhile..

stacy: good luck tomorrow on weigh in day... ill let you know how mine goes

Good Morning!

I'm going to BR it today! I have a list of short workouts of hers that I would fit in to the plan so I have to pick 2 or 3 to string together and get movin'! :D

Steph:: Kickboxing makes me feel strong and tough! I love it! Didn't always though...I think the addition of weighted gloves has really made it more appealing for me b/c it ups the intensity and will give me DOMS sometimes! ;) Yes-do chest and back today. Gotta stay balanced! :)

BBL

I'm back.

Today's work out was BR as follow:

Burpee Reptile Exercise Challenge (1 exercise-max reps in 10 mins-I did 70)
Pretty Fly Exercise Challenge (2 exercises-max rounds in 10 mins-I did 11.5)
500 Mountain Claimbers Challenge (1 exercise for time-6m 35s-gimme a break here, I was exhausted already! :p)

Total Time: 26m 35s. :eek::D;)

Stacy:: IIRC you were 131 at your last weigh in which means you are down a pound! THAT IS GOOD! What's on your work out agenda for today?

Stacy: Wendy is right you were higher last week...wohhoo..lower this week....i know what you are not where you wanted to be but still as long as its moving down...BTW:do you drink green tea???? aparently it is supposed to speed up our old age metabolism??? costco has the kirkland brand which you can even cold brew...drinkable

Wendy: As you sweat do you feel the fat roll off you as well???? totally nutso workout.... my obliques are actually a little sore today:confused: i guess that teeny tiny kb did it?????? I think after my shoulders i will try the sc mma kickbox... we shall see... i still have to try that HIS which seems to frustrate you a little....BTW.. just being nosy but what do you do work wise?

Allee: where are you???? what is your workout

Steph:: Yes, kickboxing is awesome core training! Works wonders for the obliques especially!!!! LOL-nope, the fat does not roll off with the sweat. WW is showing me once again how incredibly important diet is to the equation! Prior to WW I was getting results from my work outs (STS included) but couldn't SEE them nearly as much as I do now!!!! All of my hard work is coming into focus now that WW is taking the fat/weight off! :) I am a collector for a bank. You hate me now right? ;) I know-everyone does! LOL :p

Hi ladies,

Allee is here. Ahhhh...not too happy with myself. Failed with my eating plan.

Do you think I should go and purchase the WW food scale and cookbook???? :(

Workout has been all over the place. I am so bad with sticking to a rotation. :(((((

HELP!!!!!

Allee

Oh...i went for a walk with a friend yesterday.

Allee:: A food scale to measure portions is invaluable to your success! As for the cookbook, go online first. You can get plenty of yummy recipes for free at www.skinnytaste.com. She even gives you the WW point value for a serving of every recipe she posts! I also use www.cookinglight.com and am starting to use www.cleaneating.com as well. These second two sites don't give any WW info but all of the recipes have the nutrition info you need to easily calculate WW points per serving and it's ALL free! :) HTH!

Thank You Wendy! :)~

I really need to plan better.

Oh....Sounds like you have a cool job. Remember Allee Sue is not on your collection list. :p

Oh and I forgot to mention that the WW site itself has plenty of recipes with the point values assigned to them all on the site for your use as well, Allee! :)

ETA:: And one more thing about the food scale...I had a cheap (cost me less then $10.00) analog style food scale that was ok but a PITA and didn't go up very high at all in weight. I bought an electronic scale at Target for about $25.00 when I started WW and I LOVE IT! It's sooooo worth the $ and you'll be able to afford since you won't be wasting your $$$ on a cookbook! ;) (not saying you can't afford it. just being funny!)

Wendy: you would hate me... i always pay my credit cards in full on time, have no balance and mortgage is taken directly from my bank account each month:p

Allee: instead of the cookbook i agree with wendy, use the site and check online... always tons of ww like recipes hanging around....correct me if i am wrong knee cap breaker wendy but didn't you have a good site...Ginnas skinny recipes or something like that???

Steph:: Yep, I already posted the skinny taste site for Allee along with a couple of others!:) LOL re your credit cards and mtg. I do the same! I don't collect on that stuff though. I collect predominently commercial loans so even if you paid late you'd be safe from me! ;) They have a dept in my bank that does credit card collections-I would NOT want to do that. No way! Apparently it gets really ugly!

Shoulders and arms DONE:D

still hesitating on the cardio...not sure... maybe after supper;)

What's on the menu tonight Steph? Tonight is sandwich night for us. My boys are going bowling and I have a nail appointment. Both of which are too early for any cooking to be done and that's fine with me!:p

well my hubs turn to cook...sooo...not good
a costco hotdog and a huge salad for me...

i figure i got my days worth of fat at supper but i was super duper good all day

2 plain chobani, apples, melon, almonds (12), egg whites at lunch with a small salad and tons of
h2o and 3 cups of green tea.. (not my fave but apparently metabolism busting)

cardio funk officially over!!!! yeah!!!

started his and i understand the frustration level... i made it to combo 3 and then started to brain freeze!

soooo
i did mma:kickbox in entirety....fun....less stressful than his at least...

see you tomorrow

BTW: Stacy where are you????:)

Here I am!! LONG day at work yet again, so I'm too tired to even workout at the moment.

Wendy...I'm so happy about you starting to SEE results. I know what you mean, I was seeing some new definition when I was down to about 126 lbs. I haven't been tracking points at all for dinner which has been my downfall. I do great for breakfast and lunch.

Allee...I agree with Wendy, I'd stick to online sources, but I'd definitely get a good quality electronic food scale. It's eye opening to measure things! I'd consider WW points calculator though. I take it with me to the grocery store! I also get a permanent marker and when I buy "quick" lunches, ie. Lean Cuisine meals, I'll write the WW points right on the box so I dont have to "guess" later on.

Steph...what happened to the chest & back? ;) How was your weigh-in??

Food today...

B--2 turkey sausage patties (3 PP)
L--deli roast beef, celery sticks and raspberries (2 PP)
S--almonds (1 PP)
D--corn on the cob and NY strip steak (14 PP)

Only 20 PP of my 29 but as you can see they're almost always from dinner! (Hard to change that too much...my IBS is bad in the morning so I dont always eat breakfast....Lunch I sometimes have 15 min to scarf something down!)

My family reunion is the end of July so I'm going try really really hard to count points and to avoid sugar, flour and anything fried (except for Friday pizza night).

I've got some work-related paper work to do tonight....blah.
