WW'S JULY FIREWORKS

Yesterday's weigh-in was a bummer, was back up the pound I lost before, and still 4 lbs up from my lowest since starting WW :( Nobody to blame but myself.

I'm planning on a workout this morning after I finish my coffee, probably a cardio/weights circuit of some kind b/c I wont be working out tomorrow. Hoping to keep the eating in check!

Hello everyone. You may know me as Barbara Testa Pacio over at facebook. Well I just rejoined WW online on Tuesday. I need to lose 35lbs that I gained over the past 4 years do to medication. Im still on it but am starting to get weaned off of some of it so I am hoping to see some progress. So my problem is I can't seem to get motivated to exercise these days. Maybe you guys can give me a push. Thanks everyone for listening:)

LOL, it was what came to mind when I first read your post. It could work though! It works for me when I have a work out on tap that I'm not "in to". Just marching into my room and getting down to business w/o thinking about it makes it so much easier and once I've started the work out I am usually fine. :)
 
I had to do the "just do it" thing this morning with my workout. I did Cathe's Bootcamp.

Now I need to do the reverse "just don't do it" when it comes to eating unhealthy foods!
 
TGIF!!

I woke up around 4am and couldnt sleep so what did I do...bought 2 new workouts! Like I need anymore lol. I bought two by Michele Olson...a lower body/abs workout and a "kettlebell" workout using a dumbell. I dont have a kettlebells and I liked Ilaria's Atletica workout which is the same concept.

Good Morning-TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This morning's work out was 20 mins of jump rope-changing styles every minute (both feet, alt feet, bunny hop, bell hop, hi knees, butt kicks, etc) + Ab Circuits Med Ball Abs using my 8# ball and my 2# set of weighted gloves for a total of 10# of resistance! Good stuff!:)

Weigh in was .2 up which is nothing. Was hoping for a loss since I was .2 down y'day morning but no biggie. It's all good. ;)

So what's everyone got planned for the weekend? I don't have anything for tonight but tmrw night my mom is watching my son so that my DH and I can meet friends (2 other couples) for dinner and drinks. Should be fun. Looking forward to it! :D

Stacy:: Yay for the new work out purchases! I'll be visiting Collage this weekend to purchase a new Amy Dixon work out that I had been considering and just got confirmation that it's a goodie so I'm buyin' it for sure!;) Remember-DON'T PUT ANY JUNK IN YOUR MOUTH TODAY, GIRL! You can do it! :D

The jump roping kills my knees just reading it but the ab workout with the weighted gloves sounds kick a**!!! You're very inspiring!

Aww thanks. :) Funny- most people either find what I do admirable/inspiring or just flat out nuts!:D:p

I have a wonky knee that acts up on occasion and it was bugging me during some of the jump rope moves. It comes and goes though and it's more ANNOYING then it is PAINFUL.
 
Good morning everyone:). Yesterday eat was really good. I did have 2 glasses a wine and went over 2 pts which isn't bad. This morning I just did it, went and put on my workout clothes and did Athletic step and burned 440 calories.

Wow Wendy that's a good workout. I use to jump rope a few years back, maybe I will get back into it again.

Barb, How many ounces is in one glass of wine for you? I think 6 is considered a "standard" glass of wine. I'm jealous that you were able to drink 2 glasses and only go over by 2 pts! I can only have about 4 oz per night and stay in my DP range or else I'll starve!:p Great job with AS. Such a great work out too! I just did that one the other day as a matter of fact! I was never a big jump rope girl but I'm starting to get into it b/c of Body Rock. Wish I could use a real jump rope in my house though. *sigh* :(
 
Barbara...good job on the points AND the workout. I have AS but have yet to try it! I guess I'm also lucky I dont like wine, not that I dont have plenty of other things to rack up my points!

Wendy...what Amy Dixon workout are you getting??

Today's usually my off day from working out, but I have some free time today I wasnt planning on so I might workout, havent decided yet, nursing a headache right now. I did Bootcamp yesterday, my thighs are a bit sore from that, so maybe a walk on the treadmill just to do "something"...and then maybe abs with resistance gloves ;)

Wendy I had 8 oz which is 7 pts. It's a lot but I had some left so I use it up lol. I usually will have wine only if I workout so today I did so I am having my 2 glasses tonight:)
 
Hey I already bought 2 new workouts today, what's one more?? I just ordered Dixon's!! It looks like a great cardio workout, what decided it for me was the modifiers! Looks like I'll have good ideas for modifications for anything that might tweak my knee!
