WOW...Weights getting light!!!!

Just started doing Chest & Back with the 20lb dumb bells because I don't have the 25's yet and frankly didn't think I was ready for the 25's, but got to tell you all out there that THE 20lb's ARE LIGHT FOR ME NOW!! Hooray!!! Time to go to Wal Mart again! Thank you Cathe!!!

I just graduated to 25's as well. Can't wait to do GS Chest & Tri's again, I got my new set at Dick's last week, they were on sale!!!

Isn't it exciting when that happens? Last week when doing back rows, I accidentally picked up one 25 lb and one 20 lb. I usually use 20's for this. One arm was more fatigued and it was more challenging, but I did it! Now I know I have to use 25's next time. Now, get to Walmart! hahaha

The good news: you're getting stronger
The bad news: you have to buy more weights and find room for them!

I was happy when I finally got to buy a mate for my single 30# weight (which I used for lying pullovers and 1-arm rows) and also had to buy a 35# weight!

It is nice to hear how everyone is progressing along as well. You all are the best!

Wal Mart, here I come!!!!

Kathryn- you must be a beast! You will have to post your picture...let us see those muscles!!!!

Great Job Charlotte! I hope someday I will make it to 25 lbers. Before I became pregnant I was stuck at 20 lbers, but probably after this pregnancy is over I will have to work back up to even that. Keep up the great work! Now head over to Walmart and impress the clerks by picking those bad boys up. I bet their eyes will be popping out of theirs heads to see a woman lifting those weights! LOL ;) ;)

Kristi- LOL! When DH and I were out buying the other dumb bells (3 weeks ago), there were a few burly looking men looking over my shoulders as I was putting them on the counter. They were looking at me hard and I almost burst out laughing. Sorry, but when I see someone just staring at me I just want to laugh...I can't control it.

Strange thing: I don't look as strong as I am, and I never have. (That's probably why people have often asked me if I need help hauling 50# bags of bird seed, when I'm fully capable of doing it myself).

Congrats Charlotte! This is such a good feeling to be able to make progress. For me, I am especially happy when I can increase weights for upper body as this has been the toughest area for me to develop. I think it is important to push to a new weight as soon as you can complete all reps with good form and they are not exhausted (ie. you can do at least another rep with good form. I am hoping to move up to 30s soon for chest press but I think that is about 2- 3 weeks away. When that happens I'll be jumping up and down with excitement too!

Good for you girl! I noticed today that that i have doubled my weights since i started. i was proud:+ but i am not nearly as strong as you! Congrats!
