Wow - Body Max 2 is challenging...

wake up eager

Cathlete
I did Body Max 2 today - I thought doing it after my workout day off would be perfect, I'd be rested and I'd be all over it. I also thought I'd made great strides in my cardio and endurance capacity... WELLLLLLL this kicked my butt. Hard, seemed like it would go on forever...

I did it. Sore already.

Any one else do this lately?

I did some BM2 cardio today, LOVE LOVE LOVE this one. Probably my all-time favorite workout. I did all of the combos, then the first two circuits (minus the leg stuff), I *heart* the wide lunges! Kicks my butt every time! Then I did the abs, and followed that up with GS Legs -- I'm a lunatic!

It's been forever since I have done the whole workout as produced. I need to put that one in my rotation soon!

Get some extra rest tonight!

I did it yesterday. It is a great one....it'll get you good. Today was a nice bike ride and a bit of running, away from steps, weights and lunges. LOL.

It never lets up!

BodyMax 2 ... yes, it goes on forever, doesn't it?

I really love this workout, but usually save it for the last workout before my day off. I need an extra day of rest afterward. I don't like doing it after I've had a day off because it wipes me out for workouts on the following day.

As much as I like this workout, I do find myself thinking "Are we done yet?" after about 80 minutes or so!

I love this workout - but I tend to do it on the day before my rest day because it does wipe you out.

I am always wondering when it will be over, even though I feel so incredibly accomplished once it is over!

In total agreement Elliemom..... Now that I've read this thread, I think that's the workout I'll be doing tomorrow morning. I'll let you know how I fared.

This is my favorite workout. Right now I'm not in good enough shape to do the whole thing but I have done the step and upperbody premix. I like that that premix alternates the step with the weights. I kind of use this dvd as a fitness test to see where I'm at.

I just recently obtained this workout. I've done it a couple times, but not the whole thing; I skip the first step part and start with the power circuits. Even with not doing all of it, it totally kicks my booty!
