Workouts to alternate with Cathe?

1. Kelli Roberts Ultimate Step for an easy day with minimal impact.

2. Gunnar Petersen's Core Secrets for easy add on AB work.

3. Firm Volume 1 with Susan Harris when I want the skinny look.

4. P90X Shoulders and Arms when PS series needs an alternative arm workout.

5. running is my favorite alternative to Cathe.

I have been doing Gin Miller, Intense step... this is an interval workout; alternating between 1 minute all out aerobics and 2 minutes recovery. I ready love this video... Gin gives 3 examples of intensity levels, from inter. to advanced; you can modify if you need to. The time just flies by when I do this tape. It is approximately 50 minutes... Gin Miller, The Step video is also nice, it is 30 minutes. If you go to www.collagevideo.com, you can view Gin's videos, as well as other videos, with 1 minute clips of the workouts. I would also investigate: Karen Voight and the CIA video's and consider Ropesport, jump rope aerobics... intense!.... good luck! I hope this helped...

Linda: I have been spinning at home for 2 years now, and it is great!.. I have a lot of Spinerval tapes - www.spinervals.com; also Johnny G - www.spinning.com (creator of spinning) as well as Robert Sherman and Jay Blahnik, all these tapes offer interval training and are very challenging. The Spinervals are geared towards triathletes; they do exercises using a trainer that is fitted to a road bike and a spinner type bike so that you can adjust your intensity level accordinginly; you can view a clip of each of the Spinerval tapes on the website. Spinning has improved my cardio greatly and also enhanced my lower body endurance/strength... I have a Schwinn IC Pro..it cost 800.00, but it is well worth it, however, they have more reasonably priced spinning bikes available... Good luck and let me know if/when you get your bike. I hope you also have a heart rate monitor, because these videos are specifically geared to heart rates, your lower, mid and upper intensity levels. See ya!

Have you tried the body bar videos yet? Check out their site at www.bodybars.com If you have a weighted bar to your barbells, just use that before purchasing one of their body bars. They are great! I have Sherry Catlin's "Basis Training" and her "Step" video. It is worth a look/see. Also Keli Roberts is very good too!

I am also a Christi fan, as well as a Franny Bennedetto fan, a Patrick Goudeau ( old stuff ) fan, a Seasun Zeiger fan, just to name a few other cardio instructors that I will sub for Cathe. Complex? You got it! I love the complex stuff, the harder the better.

I also noticed how "together" Christi's backround people are, perhaps you were seeing how some of the people in back are modifying the movements?

Anyways, once you get Christi you will be hooked!

I have been doing Cathe for about 2 months now and I absolutely love her videos. I started working out with some different tapes, then moved to the Firm, and then Billy Blanks. I have all of his new "Bootcamp" DVD's and some other ones that all incorporate the "Billy Bands". I tell you what, those bands are no joke. I love mixing Cathe and Billy Blanks. I get great workouts from both and great results.

Is there anything wrong with Kathy Smith?I like to do her work out videos when I want a easy one.I like it very much. But never heard anybody mention her...I don't do Cathe exclusively.I'm not on that level yet!But she's by far the best one.
