Workout Length

Hello,

I have a really hectic schedule as I work full time, go to school in the evening and am the mother of a 20 month old precious boy. I was wondering how some of you with hectic lives fit your workouts in given the fact that the new workouts are longer. I love the premixes but they too have gotten longer in some cases and I am afraid that by doing the premixes only I will be missing out on the core of the workout. I really need to keep my workouts under an hour.

Any ideas on time management would be great.

I get up early and workout before I begin my day. And something that I've been toying with lately is just splitting a workout between two days. On the second day I'll do the warmup again and then go to where I stopped the previous day. I think I'm liking it!:)

Premixes Baby! And I live by "This is not forever". Days that I can do over an hour I do it otherwise I do what I can and make use of that time and give it 110%. One day my children will not need me and I will have that time right now it is more important that I give them my full attention so I do not look back and think I should have done this, that, blah blah blah! You have a full plate Do what you can At least your are exercising that's more than a lot of others.

I just read that Michigan, The state I reside in, is in the top 10 states of most overweight people.

all the workouts I do are under 1 hour and I am getting great results. I watch Fitness TV where Cathe has her show called Cardio Blast and I taped some of her workouts. Since the show is only 1 hour long and they have to fit commercials, they have to edit the workouts to fit it into the 1 hour segment of the show.

I always wondered if the ones they show are the ones that Cathe has under the "Timesaver" DVD's.

Anyway, if you have those the Timesavers, that would be wonderful because her workouts are all under 1 hour.

The ones I do under 1 hour are:

KPC (Kick Punch and Crunch)
Stepblast
Muscle Endurance
Rythmic Step
Step, Pump and Jump
Low Max
IMAX2

But I don't think that all of those are part of the Timesaver series.

Check them out. I have been meaning to buy the Timesaver DVD but haven't had a chance to.

My birthday is coming soon so maybe I will ask that as a birthday present.

Good luck!
