Workout apparel with a military vibe?

Greetings, sportsfans:

I'm looking to update my workout apparel collection (long pants; sports bras; cover top; cap) and would like to know if there are any fitness apparel vendors that have these items in a military motif - cammo, Army greens, etc. The apparel that Cathe and the female contingent of her original "Boot Camp" crew comes to mind, as does the apparel Mindy Myrea and her crew wore in her "Kick Butt Boot Camp" DVD.

Any ideas?

TIA!

(I'm also posting this question on the VF and Turnstep forums.)

Annette:
I don't have any specific suggestions, but since bootcamp-style workouts are quite popular, a lot of vendors have military-themed workout wear. I've certainly seen workouts where the instructors are wearing it.

As a start, I recommend doing a web search for "camo workout wear" (or for a style you particularly like, such as cargo pants, etc.) and seeing if some of your favorite brands show up.

An army surplus store would have that type of style as well.

I also know

I also know that I am never going to do high impact workouts again, as I did stupid things like racing a half-marthon and winning a trophy. After that, I went out and ran eight miles the next day. So I did it to myself. Now I have to wear a McDavid knee brace whenever I work out. I can't wait until I get my car, so I can drive to the boardwalk and run there. There is no lateral movement in running, and it is the lateral movement that hurts my knee.

Hi Annette, I was browsing through an old issue of Shape magazine this morning and saw a fitness model in a camo w/o outfit. I remembered your post so I searched through the credits to see where her clothes came from. Then I checked the site online (as it was an older magazine) and they still carry some items. It is KOSUSA. I believe they used to supply outfits for Cathe's DVD's before FeelFitWear and OhMyBod. You may recognize the Camo Capris!!!
Hope this helps!

KOSUSA is having a 10% off sale for Black Friday through Sunday (28th) at midnight. Also free shipping through the end of the month.

Hi Annette,
I found another online w/o wear site with some camo w/o bras. The site is www.BodyRockSport.com. They appear to carry a lot of very supportive tops. They have lots of edgy, biker-chick chic sort of stuff. (Specifically under the "lock-em-down" section they had a couple of camo work-out bras)
They seem a bit pricey, but then I seem to be spending more and more for quality work-out wear these days! (long gone are the cheap days of an old, free fun-run t-shirt and baggy old shorts!) Fun outfits definitely add a teensy bit of inspiration!
Hope you find some fun stuff!
