I wasn't sure if I should post this here, on Open Discussion, or both. I just returned from a week at Disneyland (woo-hoo!) where eating clean was somewhat difficult (much easier at Disney World!) and exercising consisted of walking from the hotel to the park & back. So, I've already slacked off and was raring to get back on track, when BAM! I stubbed my big toe last night and it's either sprained or broken.
Has anyone ever broken their toe? How long does it take to heal, and is there any exercise one can do during recovery? It hurts to move the toe at all and it's swollen so I think swimming and biking, and of course walking/running, are out. I just don't want to get so off track that it's hard to get back on schedule when I'm healed. I start school again next week (I also work F/T) so it's *very* easy for me to make excuses not to workout.
Thanks Cathe, SNM, and anyone/everyone else for your tips!
