I have a first interview this morning at 10:00 for a paralegal position in the public defender's office. Am trying to deny how exciting this opportunity would be for me, both professionally and intellectually. I notoriously stink at interviews (I come in thinking it's an aqua class I have to teach in front of a uniquely difficult group), so all good vibes would be most welcome!

From one paralegal to another - GOOD LUCK! The PD's office would definitely be interesting! With your experience and intelligence you should be a shoe in. Most interviewers like to hear themselves talk (especially attorneys!) so just let them ramble and then ask questions about the cases, clients etc. Works for me everytime (I've gotten every job I've interviewed for).

Hope it went well! I had an interview this morning also and surprised myself by holding my own. Usually I'm not the greatest at interviewing either! There are a few great books to read. Off the top of my head I can only remember part of one "Answering tough interview questions" or something like that.

Good luck Annette!!!! I know I am a bit late... but I still wish you luck:) Think positive! I just can't see you having a bad interview! I am sure you did or will do well!!!! We can achieve anything we want!
