Who isn't going on a RT this year?

No, unfortunately, not going this year:( My baby is due in August and I don't think I could make it there that late into my pregnancy. I went last year though----it was a blast!! Those of you going will have a great weekend. Maybe next year:)
 
Nope, not this year. But hopefully Amy and I can make it next year. This summer we'll be a bit busy but I really would like to go (and I'm pretty sure she would like to go to!).

I feel like such an idiot.. I don't have any idea what anybody is talking about when they talk about the RT. I'm fairly new to the forum and i would like to know more about it, if anyone wouldn't mind takin the time to explain it to me.

I'm not going. :( I'm kind of bummed about it, since I had been looking forward to it since last year, but we decided to fence our back yard (1/3 of an acre-- $13k!!) and we're trying to pay off some other debt, so this just isn't money I can afford to spend this year.

Oh, well, that gives me another year to be in incredible shape before I meet Cathe! :)

I'm not going (I'm spending my summer money on a trip to Europe).

I do feel a slight twinge of "gee, maybe I should go" when the registration time comes up, but when I really think about it, it's not something that appeals to me.

Not going either, I'm another one that tends to be really quiet and shy around larg groups, or even small groups if I don't know anybody (I hate how shy I am). I would still love to go though but I decided to register for the Muddy Buddy race with my brother. Maybe next year.
 
I had planned to go this year and last year. My cousin and I who love Cathe keep saying we will go before we die. Unfortunately for me, she keeps getting pregnant! She just found out and I think was afraid to tell me! I am totally happy for her though! I just couldn't go by myself. I am way too shy. So I am having my own road trip. I live in the Texas Hill Country and there are tons of spas here that are really fitness oriented so I am going to the Lake Austin resort for 2 days with a friend that is not at all fitness minded, but very spa indulgent. So I figure while I work out and pretend I am at Cathe's RT, she can do all the treatments she wants and there is no travel costs (its an hour away). It's the best I can do...

Road Trip. Cathe has a registration for the forum to go to her club and meet her and crew and the others on here. You get to eat and workout with them and this year they are going to have a stretch b-4 bed I think in jammies. Some day I will go. A girl can dream. Cathe needs to do a drawing for maybe a few people to win the whole weekend free somehow that's about the only way I will have a chance until the economy picks up for hubby. It's funny I do not have and never have had a desire to meet anyone in Hollywood. I never belonged to any fan club or follow anyones story. But I would love to meet Cathe. I think what she does here in this little part of the world for us is amazing. Mom, Wife, Business Owner, Instructor, Developing Videos, RT, Answering our questions that poor gal must need more time in a day. I will meet her someday!

Can't do it. I buy all Cathe's DVD's and really can't justify the expense for a couple of days.

The idea is to die young as late as possible.
 
Was seriously thinking about it but taxes didn't quite go the way I thought they would and with a new car pymt it is quite tight these days.

Plus July is Garlic Festival weekend (am committed to 3 days and have my grandson's first birthday party), then the following week my boss is out of town.

Enough things combined to make it unlikely this year. BUT - think I may start a RT fund like my Xmas fund and see if I can swing it next year !

Sure wish there was a RT on the West Coast someday so it wasn't quite so expensive !

I know all that are going will have a great time - will definitely wish I was there. ;(

I'm with Janie. In a perfect world I would plan a visit Cathe's gym as part of much longer trip to visit family/friends I haven't seen in a while who live in the NY/CT area. I couldn't afford to be there just for a w/e visit.

Looking forward to tons of RT pics and first hand accounts though from the rest of the lucky whatsits! :)

Not being a smart-aleck, here. I really didn't know such an event existed. Looks like a fun summer gala, great for families/kids - plus all for a good cause!! It would indeed be a sad world without a little garlic :+
 
Nope, I won't be there either. I just can't justify spending money on something like that. As fun as I think it sounds, I'd much rather spend the money taking a trip w/ my family.
 
I'm the same, won't spend a chunk-'o-change like that without including my family. We've rented an awesome cottage, more like a waterfront house in the woods (hot tub, 5 appliances, bunkie...) for a week in August, a lifetime of memories for me and my Girls.:) With a little luck and good management I should be able to make the 2015 roadtrip:+

I'm not going either. I just moved and have no job yet so $$'s kind of tight. I really plan on going next year if I can land a spot and if I can keep DH busy while I'm working out.
