Who isn't going on a RT this year?

I think it's awesome that Cathe is having two roadtrips to accommodate more people this year! When I told dh about the roadtrips, he assumed that I would go to one of them. For me, it was a lot of work hard and play hard fun last year! Cathe and crew are wonderful!!! They were and still are great with providing so much helpful information. I consider the fee a great price for everything included in the roadtrip!!!

However, I am another one not going and not a bit sad about it. It also helps that dh and my Swans got me an early Mother's Day/Birthday present to one of Eoin Finn's weekend workshops. I'm not complaining one itty bit!!!!:) :) :)

Judy, the pleasure was all ours! Your family is absolutely delightful. :D

Finally, something I can actually do!! }( ;) :p :+

Me, too! Plus the fact that the time of the July RT, I have to take DD to camp, and the Aug one... yep, have to pick her up. So that took care of that.

Oh so I'm the life of the party and the master stepper??? NOT!! I think Ms. Michele, Nancy, and tneah need to get over themselves and join my Mr. Bean corner during Cathe's step classes. And seriously, haven't y'all ever heard of people watching???

I thought the RT was kind of like college. You recognized people from your graduating class but you didn't necessarily go to the same classes or chit chat in the hallways. You found some friends, hung out at the bck of the school bus, and had a blast. So just wait ladies because the Beavs (who hates to fly) may start showing up on some of your doorsteps with step and Jane Fonda leg warmers ready to roll.

Well, I'm glad I'm not alone. And I hope those fortunate enough to go this year have a fabulous time. Maybe next year, or the year after that. Or maybe that trip to NY someday to meet FancyNancy.

I'm not going. I'm not a stepper either. My dad isn't doing too good so I just don't want to be far away from him right now. I am having lots of fun running races though. I have a couple scheduled throughout the summer so I'll be travelling to those in the area.

Oh you know that you're going to meet us all in FancyNancyville sooon Ms. Robin!!! I think this year there needs to be some tequila on the back of the bus. hhhmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm not going. I'm going on a cruise in June, so I certainly can't afford the RT this year. :-( But, there's always next year. :)

I'm not going. I've spent too much money getting ready for STS and I still want to get the new pullup tower. Maybe one year I'll go. I'm not really into big crowds either and I would be really scared to take a live Cathe class I might look like a total wimp.

DH also bought a camper this year. So all of the vacation money and more went to it but now we have stuff to do when he's home. Hope everyone has a blast at the RT.

Not going here either. I bought a Paso Fino gelding for a trail horse this spring (who is really awesome). What I didn't realize when I got him is with how much smaller-sized they are. They really need cob/Arabian-sized "stuff" instead of regular horse size (which was all my current "stuff"). So not only was there the cost of the horse but bridle, halter, saddle, fly masks, etc...... oh well. I'd rather have my horse for the next 20 years than 1 road trip anyway.

I'll be thinking of you all that are lucky enough to be going though and hope you have a most excellent time! I'm another one who will live the road trip through the pictures. :)

I'm not going, either. Air fare would be $600, and I just couldn't bring myself to pay that much.

Have a great day!
