Although I really like both, LIC has more options having both cardio and weights and I think I prefer the music in LIC. The cardio in LowMax is probably more intense and the moves will work your legs more.}(
Both are good. Well, IMO you just can't go wrong with any Cathe workout. But, I voted for LIC.

I'm hoping for something that's easy on the ankles. An alternative to impact aerobics. Thanks for the input!

Low Max! I actually hate to get to the end of this workout because I'm having so much fun! The time flies on this one, and it is a great workout!
 
I also prefer Low Max to LIC. Basically because I was bored with the choreography in LIC. I like the music and choreography much better in Low Max. But I do like the strength work in LIC so I like to do the total body strength premix.

I guess it depends what you're looking for. Low Max is not fun to me. I find the blasts very boring and way too long. The step portion is good, though, but too broken down. I like LIC better for that. And the weight work in LIC is tough. When done all together is a nice circuit workout.
 
I like Low Max for the mere fact that it's a total leg burner. I won't make the mistake again and do all seven cardio blasts on my usual leg day, way overkill but effective. Plus, I think it's a fun workout.
