HI Everyone,
The closer christmas is getting, the more excited I am getting. Is anyone else like this?
Probably b/c I will be closer to having my new videos. It usually takes a couple of weeks to get videos when I order them and the DVD's aren't even finished yet.So, I would think that they will be here sometime in the new year.
I didn't ask for anything this year.I told my Santa that I wanted all surprises b/c I usually go and pick out my own presents but this year he as all surprises for me.I'm gonna be like a kid, I won't be able to sleep.
Besides for that, I think my mom and dad may be comming in with me for christmas and my big sissy comes home on the 28th of Dec.And the excitement of my daughter at christmas isn't comparable to anything.
Is everyone else pretty excited? It is the most wonderful time of the year. All of the parties, food, decorations......I love, love, love it:-jumpy.
Happy Holidays Everyone,
Lori

Well, I know what I'm getting MYSELF this year! Besides the new DVD's, I'm also getting a medicine ball and a stability ball...
I tried to show my sweetie what I wanted, but I don't think I can trust him to get the right size/weight etc. So I figure I'll do it myself and save the hassle! ;-)

Yeah, Santa is pretty S.O.S. (stuck on stupid) here in Fayetteville!

I'll probably go get my own medicine ball and stability ball because unless I give "Santa" a picture of the item, the name of the manufacturer, item #, etc., in hand to shop with, Lord only knows what I might get!?

Fitness~ it's a journey, not a race!

Rhythmic Step, Ab Hits, Powerstrike 3 Millenium!! I already ordered the Intensity Series when they first offered it! El Cheapo!! :D :D :D If I get enough Christmas money, I'll probably get some rubber flooring for my workout area.

When I play Santa, I usually give gift certificates. I am very no frills at Xmas time - working at a church means I'm crazy busy now.

Just Do It! :)

I helped Santa pre-sale order the new Cathe VHS. I saw the medicine ball in the back of his truck one night when we were taking the kids out. I had a charge on my card for Victoria's Secret. He knows I LOVE their flannel & thermal pjs & they have some nice ones this year!

Other than that, I think I'm getting leather driving gloves--I've been begging & begging! Some cologne because I'm all out & just smell like soap. And I don't know what else. I can't wait!

I'm ready to take the next step! http://www.smilies-world.de/Smilies/Smilies_klein_1/a_smil09.gif

Santa has already got me my new THE STEP, which I am in the process of consumer testing :)7), and as I have a Christmas time birthday, Santa has already treated me to my new tattoo. So I guess Bernard's stocking will be pretty bare this year !!!!!!! No really, I am getting some OPI stuff, as I am a Pedicure Queen, and archaeology and aromatherapy books. :)

Lori, you are a brave girl, the last time my DH went out and surprised me, well, put it this way, I wasn't surprised :-rollen !
So now I keep a huge list on the PC of Birthday and Christmas ideas, as requested by DH - it makes his pressie buying so much easier !

A Merry Christmas to you, too !

Anna :)

Yes, I am a brave girl.....because you never know what I may get.But my husband is far and few.He picks out awesome gifts for everyone and when he buys me clothes he as ALWAYS bought the right size.Something I probably would not be able to do myself:eek:(Letter o).
We were talking about this last night.I couple of my friends are ready to get married but their men are putting it off for as long as they can.But I never had this problem either. If anything, he was ready before I was.He never had the fear off being tied down.Maybe he was just afraid b/c I work out with so many Cathe tapes, perhaps he figured,I better marry her or she'll beat me up.
But it is nice to have surprises so if surprises work out and I don't get to many shocking surprises(if you know what I mean)then I think I will be doing this from here on in.
Merry Christmas...
Lori

Hi Lori! I'll be getting some new sneakers just in time to do the new tapes and of course gotta have the apparel. I did ask for Karen Voight's Yoga Focus so that'll probably be under the tree as well. My DH wanted to buy me jewelry and I (gasp!) turned it down. He says I'm crazy always wanting fitness stuff. He just doesn't understand. Happy Holidays! Kathy

I'm not a jewelry person either Kathy!

I'm getting the new DVD's for sure. I asked for a set of 20 lb dumbells. There is other stuff on my list, but it is things like books and vids that would probably have to be ordered online. So I'm really hoping for the dumbells!

I've asked Santa for the PUB /PLB and Muscle Endurance/Bootcamp DVDs and a luxurious new dress coat. I'm ashamed to admit how old and out of style my current one is.

However, even if Santa (DH) didn't bring me anything, I couldn't complain. We just had our fifth anniversary and he *totally* surprised me with a diamond anniversary band, so I feel like Christmas has already come! :-jumpy

Yep, I've been a very good girl!

Lori,
I'm in the throes of planning our huge Christmas Eve party. We're getting a 14 ft tree (smaller than last year) and I always make a fabulous buffet. This weekend is the tree-trimming party. Believe me, it takes a party to get this tree decked out.

I've already purchased stability balls, and medicine balls. I'm a real home gym junkie. My sister and I already ordered the new tapes, and my husband bought us an elliptical trainer, too. So, I guess workout stuff isn't gifts for us, more like necessities.

But, I'm hoping to get a trip to Cabo San Lucas, some really outrageously expensive jewelry, some really nice outdoor gear for skiing and mountaineering, a deep freezer, a fondue pot, an ice cream maker, and list goes on.... I'll be happy with some diamonds and the trip. Or, I'll be happy with whatever he gets me. It's nice to dream about what's under the tree, but Christmas is really just about the friendship, the sharing good times and good food and drink, singing together and remembering what being a family and a friend is all about. Right?
Have a great holiday.
Amy

The Intensity Series from my Hubby and a big warm hug from each of my daughters.

I don't need anything else. :)

Clare

I'm with Honey bunch on this one, I'm a resale shopper too. We got a bunch of baskets this year and pretty shiney pots and the children gathered pine cones from our woods and dipped them in cranberry colored/scented wax to give as fire starters (and they just look and smell pretty). We really emphasize giving in our family and the birth of Christ.

BUT...like everyone else I'm awaiting those tapes, and a stability ball, and a medicine ball. (Hey, I didn't know the VHS tapes come before the DVD's, I don't think I'd feel right doing IMAX II before Annette, guess I'll shoot for doing the PUB/PLB or bootcamp first out of respect :) :) :) ).
