Whatcha doing today?

I did a 5:45 am spinning class and now I'm inhaling leftover salmon with blackberry glaze from this month's Clean Eating magazine for my lunch and then I'm heading to the neighborhood pool for the afternoon.
 
Gosh I wish I had the motivation to get up at 4:30 am to run! I used to - many years ago!

Thank you! Everybody in here seems extremely motivated. My 430am workouts are the by-product of nervous energy I think. lol! Then, by 2pm I feel like I need a nap at my desk. I'd love to trail run early in the morning but haven't done so yet this year. Then there's kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing....too many things and so little time. :D

Did Step Blast this morning. It's been a bit of a, let's just say "challenging" , day at work so far so i'm thinking I need a bit of a burn after work tonight too! Maybe a little kickbox to take the edge off :)

I'm feeling DOMS from doing 4DS all upper body weights premix last night. Oh my chest! On my agenda today is lots of vacuuming, a dog walk, some as-yet-undecided cardio (LowMax?) and then my daughter's 5th grade graduation! I can't believe she starts middle school this fall!
 
I'm on my 6 day break from work, so I always get the housework and laundry out of the way on the first day. There's just me, so luckily it's not too much to do. I'm doing a kickbox and ab workout this afternoon. I'm on my rest week for STS, so I'm doing some slightly lower intensity stuff.

I am an avid amateur photographer.....I am waiting on my new super revved-up desktop computer to get here today so I can work on some new images from earlier this year.

I'm being a good girl and getting all my work and my workout done before I play with the computer!!!
 
Went old school today. Did the original IMAX. I was going to do MIC, but IMAX is on the same disc and is easier (yeah, I wimped out today) so I did that. Plus, it's shorter and I wanted to make sure I had time for morning walkies with Vlad before I went to work. But it was such a nice morning, instead of morning walkies, we went for a morning run. Only about a mile and a half though. Vlad hasn't been running much w/ me lately and I had IMAX legs. Didn't want either one of us to keel over.

Even though Captain Four Legs hasn't been out running much recently, he is still faster than Ms Two Legs here. Dogger making me work, work!

Thsn two rounds of LaundyMax, the sock mix. Man, I hate doing socks!

Today was LSD day (that's "long, slow, distance";)) so I did an almost-8 1/2 mile walk, with a three-lap speed segment around the university track. Wow, that surface is sweet! Cushy as can be. I might even be tempted to try running on it at some point.
 
it was LEG DAY here Cathe. I made it to 105# on my walking lunges!!! 4 sets of 25 with that weight. I think I'll be feelin' it tomorrow. I hate these with a passion, but nothing hits the ole saddlebags like these - so, a lunging I will go. ;)
 
Active recovery day today after four very hard workout days and the double yesterday! :eek:

My girlfriends and their kids will be slippin' and slidin' (I got my friends oldest son to hose off the pollen! :p) we'll have at least six kids here today which usually expands to more once the word gets out! :eek:

The Mama's will watch a chick-flic (It's Complicated.... sooooo funny!!) whilest enjoying my healthy version of a chopped salad! I'm officially known as the 'salad queen'!

I did 4DS Kickbox today in its entirety! What a terrific series! Get a great workout without the serious DOMS the next day (except for my bis and tris!). One more to go this week - High Intensity Step!
