What do your "big" kids still like?

Well, mine is only 9, but DH and I qualify as big kids....

Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Golden Grahams
Legos
Cartoon Channel
Coloring - especially fresh crayons oooooohhhhhhh:):):):):)
Fetch ball with the dog
Kids Fantasy books (Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, FableHaven, OZ)
Dinosaurs
Space
Bugs and worms

The last 3 are more DH than me, though. But, hey, we're all SOMEBODY'S kid, right?

Nan

Speaking as a big kid and for DH too...We still love that my MIL makes us an Easter Basket... That's terrible since we are 33 and 32 yrs old!

Happy Day everyone!

Ahaha!! I'm trying to convince my bf to do this for me and even went so far as to ask him to hide it LOL. I'm a big kid too at 29! I also am ashamed to admit that I'm a huge fan of Degrassi. I used to watch the old 80s show and I started watching the Next Generation...it sucked me in!

I still like Lucky Charms, Scooby Doo, Play Dough, building sand castles, playing with my food, getting toys out of cereal boxes, and a ton of other things I should be long past. ;)

Mine are 22 & 19 and they still like to:

lick the beaters from the mixer when I make frosting
get Easter baskets and hunt for eggs
watch cartoons
drink apple juice, eat kids cereal and gummy worms
grow sea monkeys!

I like to watch Spongebob:eek:

My 22 year old DS is still buying goldfish crackers. He buys them by the carton now! :p

I recently bought him a "vintage" Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles T-shirt, and he loves it!

He started liking the Turtles when he was just 3 years old. I remember his first pair of "big boy" underwear had Ninja Turtles on it. THAT'S how long the Turtles have been around! :D

LOL!! My DS, also 22, was obsessed with the TMNT and everywhere we went, he had wear his turtles outfit, headband and carry his plastic numchucks. One day someone referred to me as the Ninjas mom and the name stuck......hence my forum name: NinjaMom:)

How cool, Judi! So, we both went through the TMNT years with our boys!

How many Halloweens did your DS dress as a Ninja Turtle? I remember at least 2 for mine. Then the Power Rangers came along and he had to be the Red Ranger for a couple of years!

Fun memories!

Love your forum name!

(I just remembered something else funny that you would appreciate. When DS turned 21 we threw him a surprise party. I had a birthday cake made with TMNT figurines on it. It was a huge hit with everybody!!)

I lost count on how many times he dressed as a turtle for Halloween:confused:...LOL!! Funny, he never got into the Power Rangers.

I love your birthday cake surprise....how fun!

My 26 year old son was in love with the ninja turtles growing up too! He still loves them. I bought him these cold cast collectors statues for his bedroom.

This is the cake I made him for his 21st birthday- his favorite ninja was Raphael. The head of this cake is made of rice crispy treats, the bust/shell on the back is cake and fondant.
