What Did You Have For Lunch Today?

I forgot my lunch today....oops! I'm at work and went and worked out on my lunch hour (there's a gym and and showers and such at my work location) and don't have time to get anything. I had a handful of Wheat Thins and a hot chocolate (sugar free). I'm going to be extra hungry tonight. :/ I'll have an apple a little later.

A pita pizza straight out of Self magazine: whole wheat pita with canned diced tomatoes, spinach, bottled roasted red pepper strips, handful of shredded skim mozzarrella and a drizzle of olive oil, baked in the oven until hot.
 
MMMMMM.... I LOVE those Thin Mints!!! Haven't had them in such a long time. x(

I had turkey, lettuce and tomatoes on whole wheat, and a bowl of strawberries, pineapple, grapes and watermelons.
 
AWESOME!!!! I was beginning to think I was the only bad egg and was most certainly facing forum deportation!!!

Very unusual day for me. I got up at about noon and had breakfast, so lunch was just a luna bar at 6:00 pm so that I don't spoil my dinner.

If this were a regular day, I would have had a large container of take-out chicken vegetable soup or yankee bean soup with the luna bar for "dessert". The place across the street from my office makes fabulous soups.
 
Wow, such an incredibly busy day that I'm having a hard time remembering what was actually "lunch"! Leftovers from last night's dinner (I always take leftovers for lunch): homemade pad thai, with rice noodles, tofu, lots of frozen veggies , pad thai sauce and a bit of peanuts on top. Plus a pear and two fig newtons. Amazingly (for me at least), that held me the whole afternoon--usually I have to eat again before work is over, but it was so busy today and I'm so tired that I had no real appetite.
 
I had salad with baby spinach and mixed greens, cucumber, celery, sweet bell peppers, grape tomatoes, feta cheese, raw cashews, chicken breast, mandarin oranges, sesame-ginger dressing w/olive oil, and a slice of whole wheat toast on the side. It took forever to build, but boy was it yummy!

Two slice of whole wheat bread with peanut butter and organic blueberry perserves. cottage cheese and strawberries with fat free whip cream. Gosh!! this is making me hungry again. Also what is Tempeh and how do you fix it? Karen
 
Salad with beets, hot peppers, cucumber, tomatoe, and cheese with lowfat Italian Dressing and 2 club crackers. A small Dannon fat free strawberry yogurt and a pear.
