I voted fitness for me. I work out 6 days a week without blinking an eye. I like eating take-out..lol. That will change Monday morning. I am allowing myself to have it only once a week. I do eat healthy majority of the time, but I tend to go out to eat 2-3 times a week and hardly ever make good choices. I am a sucker for any type of Asian food too. Thai,Japanese, Chinese..it's all good!!

Aila,
We went Chinese last night..YUM, but that is good for you, right? I never eat the rice, just the veggies.

Have a great day!

I love to workout and push myself harder and harder.

Unfortunately, I also love food, which probably accounts for not shedding those "last few pounds".

I have been more disciplined about my eating for about the past week, but this weekend, I am making Julia Child's seafood crepes in cheese and wine sauce and a 6 layer chocolate cake for my sweet husband--his Valentines Day request.

As long as I don't snack while making them and watch portion sizes, I should be fine.

His early Valentines present for me? a set of 25 lb dumbells--hooray!!!

I admire those of you who are really disciplined with food.

take care,
Maggie

I can't believe how many are more disciplined in fitness! I definitely voted for nutrition. I never seem to have enough time to do all the workouts I want to do. I'm so envious of those who have a workout schedule and stick to it!

As for nutrition, the eating plan I've been following has become second nature to me now. I don't think of it as a diet or eating plan really, it's just what I eat.

Fitness. I really don't like to have to spend too much time on figuring out what to eat and how to prepare it. I eat mostly healthy, but I admit - I make white bread most of the time in the breadmaker. It gets eaten faster and doesn't get stale. I don't eat as much fruit as I should either. Winter is so boring for fruit. How many apples can I eat? But...exercise is relatively easy to be disciplined at. There's no thought involved, especially with Cathe's rotations.

SCM's post could have been my own, only I work out everyday at 4:30 a.m. (and sometimes twice a day). As far as nutrition goes, I have so much room for improvement it's not even funny (only for me, the "bad boys" are chardonnay, cheese and chocolate).

I am MUUUUCCCHHH more discipilined in my work outs then in my eating. I strive to work out 6 days per week and will push myself super hard to make that happen but when it comes to eating...I can stray from an eating plan in the blink of eye if someone waves something YUMMY in front of my face! lol

Gotta work on the eating once the baby is born...DEFINATELY!

Have a great work out!

Fitness most definitely. I think I get more of an instant gratification after a workout than when I deny myself the chocolate cake that I want...

I voted fitness, but at the moment, niether.

Of course, I'm trying to pack and prepairing for the move into our new house. I just don't care to workout right now.

I've promised myself, after we get settled, and I get things set up in my new workout room, I'll start devoting myself to fitness and nurtition.

O.k.,As for me, and I am just talking about me here, please do not get offended... I have tried to eat whatever I wanted and still workout, but the cellulite would not go away so nutriton has to be first or I have wasted my day working out unless I want to run 10 miles more just to make sure I burned it off. Gosh, I wish I could be like Forrest Gump!

I don't eat whatever I want, but I don't always eat the right foods, either. I try to get my fruits and veggies, and eat lean meats, and my hubby and I prepare a lot of Weight Watcher and Cooking Light meals. I don't drink alcohol or much soda pop (drink mostly water and herbal tea), and I'm constantly looking for ways to eat more healthily.

But, when it comes to exercise, I seem to have little to no problem motivating myself.

With that said, I AM supposed to work out tonight, but I have been really really tired the past couple of days, and my back is a little messed up, so a trip to the chiro is in order after work today. It's usually not a good idea to exercise too hard after an adjustment, so I might just rest my body tonight and preview all my new DVD's, which should be waiting on my doorstep when I get home. :D

Definitely fitness. Working out in the morning is just part of my routine, but cake, pizza and chocolate will always call out to me.

for me defintely fitness. However...lately I've been working on that nutrition thing and it helps with my workouts, imagine that!!! I used to wonder why it was that some days I had more energy and others it was like I was brand new to working out. I do eat out though, and when I go to my moms, she's old school with the cooking and baking and I slip sometimes:9

I have finally talked too much about what I have been learning and she is now working out every day...YAY:D

One other thing I have gotten pretty disciplined about is my water intake...I don't drink soda, but I do love my coffee. I have my morning mug and then don't allow myself anything else until I'm a good way into my gallon. It's doing wonders so far.
