Cheryllynn--I wish I could send you some cake :)

Seriously--we had it tonight and it was so rich that even with a family of 7, 3/4 of it are left in the fridge. I think I'm going to have to freeze it or something--I can't eat like this all the time:9

take care

Nancy! your a "smart cookie"

Oopps.........just have to mention food LOL!

But your on to something there

Most of the very overweight I know, are the ones ALWAYS on a fad diet of sorts and its "I cant eat this, I cant eat that"

Im sure the STRESS of it all slows down their metabolism

On a personal side note........dining out with some of my friends used to be very social and a fun chit chat catch up, but lately its a major frustration for me and DH when they worry over everything on the menue and want the waiter to explain in detail how things are cooked.........Honestly! whats happened to enjoying a bit of everything lately?

You have to stay in shape. My Grandmother started walking when she was 60. Today she is 97 and we don't know where the hell she is! - Ellen DeGeneres

Nancy, I actually do agree with you, don't get me wrong. Did I mention I watch nothing but the Food Channel & Court TV when I'm not at work, not working out & not on the computer?

So if that means anything, I am just trying to broaden my horizons when it comes to food, of course in moderation and sensibly.

O/T but, hey Emeril! Did you know an old, flat, tire would taste delicious if you poured as much butter, oil, & cream on it as you do on all your dishes? O.K. OFF my soap box.

Marla

Side note: I am not trying to broaden my horizons by watching Court TV, OK?:p

Our friend Emeril's waistline is reflecting his love of butter, pork fat, and cream! He's gained a lot of weight over the last few years. Not good. He will soon look like Paul Prudhomme if he's not careful. Sure we'd ALL like to eat like that, but we gotta use some sense. I DO love his Essence, which I use all the time. It's great on veggies along with Butter Buds. So you CAN kick up veggies without makin' 'em fattening, Mr. Emeril!
