Here's what's rocking my world...

- Honest Tea organic cold teas
- Black coffee with cinnamon (someone here mentioned taking it like this and I love it!!)
- Guiltless Gourmet organic chipotle tortilla chips
- Dr Bronner's Magic All-in-one lip balm
- my consignment shop sleeveless T that says "Save the Forest, Recycle." My arms look great in it AND I get to preach. :p

...how about yours?

Since you mentioned lip balm... I am so addicted to my Nivea lip balm, I just keep putting it on and on!!!!! It is so smooth and feels wonderful :p

I also cannot get enough guacamole! Avocado, lots of lime juice and garlic salt -- heaven on any and everything!!!! :D:D

Emu oil. I can't believe how this stuff works. On stretch marks, acne scars, and it moisturizes like crazy, . . it also works on thinning hair. I've only been using it for a week and I'm about ready to buy a case load and hide it in my closet.

Lululemon, .. . ugh I hate that I love their stuff it is way to expensive.

Ojon tawaka ball. It looks like a giant rabbit poop but it works great at exfoliating skin.

Wheat grass juice. It give me that natural energy boost without upsetting my stomach.

Fresh summer fruit - cherries, apricots, peaches, nectarines, canteloupe, blueberries, plums

Fresh corn on the cob and tomatos out of the garden.

Sitting on the patio with my DH in the evening and watching the fireflys.

My favorite new lunch- cottage cheese in the blender with honey and cinnamon on a sweet potato. I swear, it's better than it sounds.

Spicy and tangy almonds from Trader Joe's

Pink lady apples

Stila sheer tinted moisturizer SPF 30

The book I'm reading- Through a Glass Darkly by Karleen Koen

  • My CardioCoach workouts
  • Burt's Bee lip balm in cocoa
  • John Masters Organics Exfoliating Face Wash (but I love everything in his cosmetics line)
  • Green lemonade from Natalie Rose's Raw Food Detox
  • Rishi Organic Orange Blossom Green Tea
  • My new big and bold watch from Sundance Catalog (I kept wanting to buy it, didn't have the money and now I did get it last week - YAY!!!)
  • Larabar cherry
  • Thai chili cashews from Trader Joe's
  • Thai Chili Lime sauce from Fresh&Easy (I cook my shrimps in it and pour both over my salad - Yu-mmy!!)

  • Congrats!! Sundance is my all-time favorite catalog company and pretty much the only line I'll pay full price for! Good for you. :)

Isn't their stuff awesome!!! ??? But I actually got 20 % off the watch which is why I couldn't resist any longer :p Well, I wouldn't have resisted anyway

The baby fishies in my pond... Raccoons ate all my fish in the pond this spring , but apparently one of them was preggo before her untimely demise, and I recently found a whole pond full of babies!! They're so cute...

I didn't know you could use Emu oil for other stuff! I love it for muscle aches and pains... it's amazing. I'll have to try it all over my body now!

Other things I'm digging right now:

Virgin Coconut Oil
Miguel's Organic Gluten Free Tortilla Chips
Watermelon
Organic Raw Brazil Nuts
70% dark organic chocolate eaten with either almonds or fresh cherries

Great Idea!

In the midst of a summer I am not happy about, there are a few things I am soooo happy about:

- My new physician who is also an expert in Chinese medicine. Between the acupuncture and breathing practice and only 10 days, I am sleeping like a baby for the first time in over a year. Talk about rocking my world!

- David Sedaris. I am reading his new book, When You are Engulfed in Flames, and I haven't read anything by him before. He's hilarious! Easy reading that can be as dark or as funny as you want it to be.

- Advanced RevitaLift Double Eye Lift by L'Oreal. It was recommended by my mom, and so far so good. I've received compliments regarding the brightness of my eyes twice now. They're not so puffy.

- Ana & Ravi Kundalini yoga. I was told to stop heavy exercising last week, so I took these DVDs out. Brilliant! I GOT the breathing down for the first time after years of trying. It feels so good incredibly good; in a perfect world, I would do these every single day.

- Kettlebells. By butt was looking better than it had in years, and that's WITH 10 extra pounds. I worked my way up to 35 lb swings in no time, and I haven't exercised much in the last two years!

- Bob Ross oil painting brushes :D. I have NEVER used anything other than cheap craft brushes, but now that I am painting on very large canvases, they aren't cutting it anymore. I had to buy good brushes for acrylics and oil. The Bob Ross brushes are miracles on a stick. I had no idea.

Teas, I am loving my new found fave drink!!

Running, just discovered the joys of running!

Push-ups again, finally got my shoulder back wher eit needs to be to re-start the 100 push up challenge!

And of course the stronger arms that come with all of those push ups!

The list is pretty long, but I'll give ya my top-picks...

- Blueberries: eating them and picking them!! They are HUGE this year....yummy!!!

- my new bike. It's nothing special, but it doesn't squeak like my old rusty bike did (which totally embarrassed DD...:p).

- American Rag halter tops. Soft, comfy and cutie-patooty. I'm living in these this summer!!

- seeing DH in a pair of shorts now that the warm weather is here. He's got nice legs!!;)

- watching fireflies at night

It's less than 2 weeks until NFL training camps open.

The Phillies have won 10 of 11.

Springsteen is coming to the Spectrum, will be digging this more if I can somehow snag tickets.

As always, digging working out with the best in the fitness world!!

Good grief... this thread made me realize that there is absolutely NOTHING that I'm enjoying right now. I have nothing to read. There is no food that is thrilling me. My skin is a mess and no skin care is helping. I guess I need to work on finding some joy, huh?

Tomatoes!!!!! Love them in salads; sauces; slices on bread with mayo & LOTS of pepper or on a baquette with mozzarello, basil, evoo, and balsamic vinegar. Oh, and tomato pie! Yum!

Listening to Sea Change...it just sounds better in the summer!

Hanging on the screened porch

Having friends over for dinner, wine, and conversation on aforementioned screened porch

My new Teva sandals which actually fit and are sooo comfortable and cute!

I crave my ice cold green smoothies that I've discovered recently.

My new clean eating lifestyle.

Finishing STS Meso 1 tomorrow.

And this recipe that I tried yesterday that seemed absolutely sinful:

(from Muscle Chow cookbook)

CHOCOLATE ALMOND MOCHA BLAST

1/2 cup fat-free milk
1 Tbsp. instant coffee
10 unsalted almonds
1 Tbsp. lecithin granules
2 packets (2 grams) stevia (I only used 1/2 a pack - plenty)
1 cup crushed ice or 6-8 ice cubes
2 scoops chocolate whey protein powder

Blend it all up, and prepare for some heaven!

Makes 1 serving

Oh that sounds delish! Tomatoes here just are not quite vine-ripened! And I just found a recipe for tomatoe pie -- I cannot wait! :D
