We're in this together

Judi, I'm coming to your house for dinner :p I also have the remodel bug. But alas, it's not in the $$ cards right now. Have fun and don't work too hard.

Linda, how's the shoulder doing?

BTW keep my mom in your thoughts/prayers. She is having knee surgery for a meniscal tear tomorrow. She needs knee replacement on the other knee but tore her meniscus and now that takes priority

Catherine - Will keep you mom in my prayers. So how's the eating, did you make it through the first day? I always find that to be one of the toughest.

Judi - I need to rip the wall paper down in my kitchen as well and repaint, but the pool project has priority then comes sorting my kids clothes. Maybe this summer when it's too hot to be outside. I also need new flooring in my kitchen and hallway, but it will just have to wait.:( Oh here are some pictures of what I did to my bedroom a couple months ago. If you look past my DD adorable face you can see the sheetrock repair on the wall. This is how my bedroom looked for the past 12 years. Now I just need to finish i with curtains.:p

Wow, my right forearm is killing me from all the scooping of water I did on Friday!

This morning I did Meso 2 Disc 14 Triset Legs. Boy I am just all over the place right now! Anyway, I kept the weight light nothing over 40# for a couple of reasons. One still babying the frozen SI joint, babying the forearm and still seeing what lighter or no weights does for my legs. I did howevert take all the moves deep and was again impressed at the burn I had going with such light weights.

Morning Ladies- I'm on the second recovery week of P90X but don't follow his rotation....I need more cardio. So, I did Cardio Fusion this morning and have YogaX on tap for tomorrow.

Catherine- How did it go yesterday? I did well until (as I posted on FB) DS came home with some red velvet cake. I couldn't resist so I had half a slice:eek: Oh well, today is a new day! Keep us posted on how your mom is doing.

Linda- I love the color of your walls! I have lived here for 13 years and never painted my bedroom or bath...talk about procrastinating! I am dreading tearing down the wallpaper in the kitchen but I have the deck to power wash and stain first. It never ends:confused: BTW, your DD is adorable!

I think leg workouts with light weights but going deep is just as hard as using heavy weights. I cry when I think about those slow motion lunges Cathe does in one workout....ouch!

Judi - I did cardio during the p90X recovery weeks too. It also took 12 years for me to paint my bedroom, last room in the house to get done, now the first ones need repainting :p:confused:. Funny thing is it does not go with the rest of my house, every other room is painted more pastel in color then there is my room this dark bold cherry. Don't get me wrong I love it but it's like walking into a different house.:p

Linda, your daughter is soooo cute!!! She looks like you :) I'm laughing at your going light on the weights. When you said no heavier than 40 pounds I was thinking that's HEAVY for a lot of people out there. BTW that color on your bedroom wall used to be the color in our bedroom.

Judi, I finished the day strong yesterday!! Today I had to go back on the Mt Dew because of headache. Have fun with YogaX tomorrow.

My mom did ok with surgery. It was outpatient and she's home with one of my sisters staying with her.

Catherine - Glad to hear your Mom's surgery went well. How's she doing today? And I am afraid to ask what it took to change the color of your room from that deep red. I told my DH he was stuck with it for quite awhile. Oh and thanks on the DD, she's a riot and smart as a whip.

Judi
- whatcha up to today? Cleaning the deck?

Wow, for someone who went light with her leg workout yesterday I sure do have some major DOMS. This morning I didn't want to do anything, but Debbie's post yesterday made me pull out BM2 but I only did the Timesaver Cardio Premix. Then on these very same very sore legs I walked 4 1/2 miles with my client. Yesterday I backed my car out of my driveway (which is 400') when I turned forward and took my arm down from the back of the passenger seat I had some pain in my shoulder, then the pain stopped and it just ached. i go back to the doctor on Monday.

Afternoon ladies. I have to fess up to a diet screw up last night  DH sat down in the living room in front of me with a Klondike bar of all things and of course I had to have one  So far today has been good though. My mom is doing ok today. She seems be more comfortable.

Linda, our bedroom was that color for years and then I craved something lighter. It took primer and several coats of paint to cover it  WTG on your workout. I hate to hear your shoulder was hurting again :(

Judi, how was YogaX? That one always had a dread factor for me, but once I was done felt so good.

Catherine- I'm glad to hear your mom is doing OK. My mom had both knees replaced quite a few years ago and unfortunately didn't faithfully do her required therapy exercises so her results weren't what they could have been. Don't worry about the Klondike bar. One treat won't de-rail your efforts....at least that is what I told myself when I dove into the red velvet cake;)

Linda- Ouch! I hope your shoulder isn't aching anymore. Is your doctor appointment on Monday for your shoulder? Maybe you should have an MRI so you can see what is going on. I haven't started the deck yet and not looking forward to a weekend of power washing.

YogaX is long, especially the first part with all the vinyassas blah blah blah. I was able to hold the crane pose for about 30 seconds today so that is progress. Tomorrow is cardio but not sure what I'll be doing. Have a good night!

Okay spending the first half of every week not being able to walk has got to stop. For the past four weeks I have done a different leg workout on Monday and have had major DOMS that makes me walk like a little old lady. OUCH!

Today I did STS Disc 25 from Meso 3 Chest & Back. I kept the weights light using only a 55# barbell & a set of 25's & one 30 dumbbells. And since I wasn't going all out on the weight I skipped all the rests between the sets and a constant superset. I felt pleasantly worn out at the end. Although I have to admit it sucks not to be able to pick up some crazy weights and push like a mad woman.

Catherine
- One Klondike Bar isn't too bad. So are you back on track now? Still getting your walks in?

Judi
- Yes, I am going to the ortho on Monday and requesting the MRI. Problem was during this morning's workout it was actually my left shoulder that was hurting. Oh and YogaX goes on forever, nice job on crane.

YAY! I just received the Jaybird Tiger Eye ear buds I won from Cardio Coach. They are noise canceling and the surround sound is amazing. I still can't believe I won them. Too late to christen them with a CC workout since I had already done a kickbox this morning but will use them later when I take Cooper for a walk.

Linda- I'm glad to hear you are pushing for an MRI. It will be good to find out exactly what is going on. It is amazing how switching up your workouts can lead to major DOMS

Catherine- How goes the diet? I think I need to get back into logging my food intake cuz just winging it isn't working. I nearly ate a whole bag of Lay's BBQ chips last night!

Happy hump-day ladies!! I am a bit bummed because I was supposed to be going on a trip to Cincinnati this weekend to meet up with Michele, Emily and Shelly and Gayle. They are all running in the Flying Pig events and I was planning to just go as a cheer leader. This was planned a while back and I thought I'd be up to it. Cinci is only a little over 2 hours from me and I am sad to know they will be so close :(

My eating has overall been better this week. I am noticing my butt go further south and my belly is like jelly. I really need to be able to workout again. I see my new doc again next Wed for test results and hope there's a next step.

Linda, please stay on top of things and don't take no for an answer when it comes to getting your MRI.

Judi, how exciting about your new Jay bird earbuds. I have Bose ear buds and I have tried the old ones that came with my iPod and it's amazing what a difference it makes. Just wait till you hear Sean in surround sound ;)

I am tired today but it's because I got to bed late. So between being tired and hamstrings that still hurt I didn't want to do anything. However I did manage HiiT 30/30 and that was enough.

Catherine
- I will keep you in my prayers for good news on Wednesday. Must be tough not to be able to do anything. Unfortunately I just might find out for myself in a few weeks. :( But I know it won't compare to what you are going through.

Judi
- Okay take your new headphones off long enough to come talk to us!:p:p:p

Oh I forgot to tell you this....My DD (5) has been taking a recreational gymnastics class since September and has just been invited to join Team Training. You can only get here by invitation of a coach or tryouts. :D:D:D:D:D

Catherine- I'm sorry that you aren't able to attend the Flying Pig run & GTG. I remember you talking about it some time ago. I'm excited for Michele and hope she does well. She has come a long way for a cardio hater;) Hope your Dr. appt. goes well next Wed. Keep looking forward to better days and don't forget we are here for you.

Linda- Did you get your Bosu workouts yet? Mine came today but I haven't had a chance to preview. I still can't get over what a good deal that was. Most of the workouts are around 60 minutes. I think I'll try one out tomorrow.

I did YogaX again today and trying to psych myself up for the final 4 weeks of P90X starting with chest & back on Monday:confused:

Woo Hoo!! Very cool for DD:) Is she excited?

Judi - Yes, she is very excited, she loves gymnastics. I watch those girls each week and am amazed at the the strength they have. My dvds arrived this afternoon but I don't have a BOSU so who knows when I will actually get to do them. (but the deal was too sweet to pass up, especailly since I plan to own one....someday)

Thank goodness it's Thursday(which is my Friday at work). I have been gradually increasing my patient numbers and am getting busy. Now I will work on staying longer hours. I hope I can tolerate it.

Judi, YogaX again? I am impressed! I agree Miss Lee has come a long way for a cardio hater :)

Linda, I am so excited for your daughter. I also love to watch gymnastics.

Linda, do you remember this??

Catherine - Yes I do! And am so sad that it will not be happening again this year. I was so set to join you for an entire road trip, and we will one of these days!:D:D:D:D:D
