Good Morning Friends.

Just now, I officially resigned from my "internship" stating their embarassing behavior on Saturday to themselves, their company and to me. I no longer want to be involved and I encouraged them to get help. My blog is my future not that company. On the way home Saturday night, I realized I can do alot more to keep the conversation alive.

Today, I plan to do one workout. I think To the Max but need to preview Crossfire yet.
Interview at 9am then checking out my follower's whom they follow on Twitter.

Nat -I agree about doing stuff on holidays and such. I always prefer to go camping in the middle of the week as opposed to over the weekend just because it's so much quieter.

I'm sorry that you had a bad time with Bella. It's really hard sometimes :(

Jen - I understand you didnt want your name associated with druncken stupers. Waiting for reviews of new workouts from you.

I haven't even gotten my shipping notice yet. Buts thats okay it will be waiting for me when I come back from camping.

My hubby and I had date night last night. It was fun and I got a new swimsuit! I got a tankini. I have never worn a 2 piece before (I realize it doesn't really count because you cant see my tummy but I am happy none the less). However, I do need to add fake boobs to it :eek:

Today we went to a beach in Barrie, Ontario (only 30min away). There is an awesome splash-pad, park, and trail, all surrounding the beautiful beach front area. Lots of hotties too ;) (men and women)...oh and the kids are cute too ;).

Today's w/o was 4DS High Intensity Step. I'm pooped :(.

LOL, it was not Bella crying outside for 30min...it was actually some kid outside the building having a crying fit or something :confused:.
It's so nice that you and hubby had a date night. Everyone tells you how important that is, and how you have to "make time", but in reality, who the hell has the time???
Congrats on the tankini :). Who cares if the tummy is concealed! You have to wear what you feel comfortable and confident in.
I hear ya on the boobs ;). Do you have an extra $10,000 laying around? ;)

Just finished Crossfire. I strongly encourage to preview before attempting. I previewed it then did it. Don't get mislead though.
The warmup is packed and condensed so its a workout in itself.
The crossfire fitness blast was maybe my most difficult. The intervals are wicked.
The firewalker tabata. First round was difficult but easier on the second round. The first two exercises are a b@#$*.
The circuit blast was smooth and reminded of Body Max 2. I liked it.
The Plyo tabata reminded of 4DS bootcamp but amped up.
Stretch is recommended.
Overall, my intensity was lighter by not pushing it so I didn't modify. With that, I got a great workout and the bottoms of my feet are sore. Music is good. It is a tough workout tighter version of BMX2.
Plan to attempt To The Max on Wednesday or Thursday. I might regret it.
 
Jt..bottom of ur foot hurt? I cant do workouts yet. I have to wait 4 weeks my PF acting up again. So I was hoping I might can do them. But now, what u said it sounds like ill never be able to do them!

I'm SO happy you did Crossfire!!! And you did the whole workout...not even a premix!!! You ARE amazing!!
A few questions, is there a lot of repetition? Does she repeat cycles? For some reason, I'm not a huge fan of that...I can live with it, but it will have a dread factor. Kinda like CCC :confused:.
-Which firewalker did you use? I honestly think I'll need pink :confused:.
-Is your butt sore? Afterburn #2 :eek:

OMG, I feel so bad you have to go through that with your foot. I broke my ankle 8 years ago, and having foot/leg medical conditions are truly horrible.
There is a low impact option on the new workouts. Perhaps you can preview like Jen said and modify if needed (with the advice of your doctor to go ahead). Have you tried walking workouts...like Leslie Sanson? I heard she is amazing, very highly regarded. I was even thinking of getting a few for days when I need to give my knee's a break.

Today will be a nice leisurely walk w/Bella and then cardio later on. I'm not sure what workout I will do. I was thinking low impact...CSS perhaps :).

Today, reapplying for unemployment stinks today. Glad, I have nothing else planned.

My soreness now is mainly ankles and lower legs (DOMS).
CrossFire does repeats of series only twice even during the circuit area.
Yes, I used pink as well. My butt is sore too.
Rarely do premixes unless I have a specific reason.
Plan on To the Max on Thursday, I need time to recover from this and my double discs on Saturday.

Heard late afternoon from my former internship from her supervisor not her about Saturday. Denial works for some.
 
I sorry your having to reapply for unemplyment. I bet that does STINK. Got any good plans for the 4th? Hopefully your foot will be feeling better. Did you finish Meso 2?


Nat- I glad to hear it wasn't Bella. Although I have had to listen to all of my scream for extended periods of time and it is so hard usually I end up crying
too :(

Today I did Bootcamp. It was fun. My husband and I were suppose to spend today working in the yard but we got rained out :mad::D Mixed feelings about that.
I am making a huge batch of spaghetti for are upcoming camping trip. We go with a enormous group of people, about 60. So the spaghetti is a huge pot.
I also made a Chili Verde with Pork and Hominy for just myself. I cooked with tomatillos and I have never done that before.

Tomorrow my husband has to work and the kids are still gone so hopefully I will be able to finish putting in the garden.

Happy July 4th to my friends down south :)

Yesterday I decided to take a rest day. I went for a nice 1hr walk with Bella to the pharmacy and that was enough for me :D.

Today's w/o will be low impact, so perhaps CSS or Afterburn. I have a gut feeling the workouts will be coming this week...just in time for me to enjoy them during what's left of active recovery :eek:.

I have decided for M3, I am going to go ahead and do both squat rack and plyo legs. Reason being is that I will never be able to get to 80-90% of my 1RM for squats (even with my vest) and I want to work my legs 2X/week to shape them up more. Hopefully I can pull it off :eek:

I'm sorry you have to re-apply for UI :(. I think after actively searching for employment for 1yr, the government should just find you a job that's in your pay grid and force a company to comply and take you. Positive thoughts and vibes are with you during this time Jen.

I'm sorry you got rained out again and not able to continue with the garden. I remember one summer when it rained often and it totally sucked a$$. I hope good weather comes your way :).

Yesterday I "kitty sat" for my sister while she went to pick up her school report card. She just got a cute 11 week old tabby kitty. SO cute!

My workout was Afterburn :eek:. Just for fun, I decided to replace some of the moves with the ones I saw from Crossfire w/the blue firewalker :eek:. I did plie jacks, jumping jacks and tuck jumps :eek: It was pretty fun actually :D. I reached a milestone with AB too, completing all the spider mountain climber's to tempo. I believe this has to do with my increased UB strength from STS.

It's easier to use my desktop or laptop, not my phone, to post here so I can see what you all are up to.
Last night, due to firework dereg in my State, I was up very late due to the noise. City funds are tight so you had to make sure your home was fire-safe due to the dry temps. I doused my yard with water two nights in a row, now my grass is green again.
Although unemployment filing stinks, it gives me opportunity for the Governor to hear from me. It was bad cause of so many people filing claims and computers going down.
Next Monday is M3, hoping to do To the Max today or Friday. It is SO hot here that it
makes it harder. No extras for me except walking.
Cookies N Cream was my treat this week.
Saw the movie, People Like Us, was really good.
Natty-Best wishes with M3. Be careful if you're doing both. Cat sitting is fun. One hour walk, Wow!! Thanks for the Holiday wishes for us, "down south."

Sarah-Bummer on the rain, we need it here REAL bad. Send it to MI.

I did try and post yesterday, but it booted out again. Something about my session time had run out. :mad:

I received the new DVDs (to my suprise) and I couldn't not do at least one.
Yesterday I previewed CrossFit and did it. I really liked it. For me I don't love a workout right away because I have to be to "nail it". I can't ever do that on the first time. The Tabata was pretty hard cause 10 sec. goes by too fast. I hung in there and completed it. I am also a bit suprised I am not sore :( After completing Crossfit I came to the realization that I believe I am in the best shape of my life thus far. Yes I still have a belly, no I am not at the weight I would like to be (within 3-5 lbs.) But I feel rock hard (except for the belly which is Jello) and I'm proud. The check-in with you guys has helped me stay on track. Thank you guys. I hope the check-in has added something positive to each of your lives also.

I finished planting the garden also :). Parsnips, kolarhabi, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, beets, lettuce, swiss chard, kale, zucchini, sugar snap peas, pumpkins, corn, and green beans. Now just have to wait and see if there is enough time before fall hits. I super jazzed because are raspberries are coming in nicely. We will miss part of the harvest, but there will be plenty when we come home. We will also miss the last of the strawberries :(

Nat - I hope you get your DVDs soon. I can't wait to talk with you about them. In Crossfit after the first Tabata set, Cathe was hilarious. She said something about doing side steps to reduce your heart rate and then she says I dont care what you do. The way she said it was like how I talk to my kids in the middle of a workout. It struck me as so funny, I had to laugh even though I was so out of breathe.

I hear you on the fireworks Jen. We slept with all the windows shut last night. Luckily it's not nearly as bad out in the country as it is in the city. My dog was great though :)

Hello gals :)

I'm sooo upset right now. Bella has been having constipation problems on/off for the past 3 weeks, since I accidentally gave her multi's + iron :mad:. She eats so well for a 3yr old, and so I can't really tweak her diet. She eats chili for heaven's sake!!! We had to give the poor little thing an enema last week, and we thought it would get her BM regular, but now's she constipated AGAIN!!! The pharmacist recommended a suppository to give her relief (it's been 4 days) but of course she won't let me do it. I'm also typing this with a burnt finger that I just got taking oatmeal cookies out of the oven :mad:. It's not my day :(.

Yes, this check-in has been tremendous support for me also. I've learned so much about everything from you guys, and I'm truly thankful for that. I wish we all lived closer so we could hang out and have a few drinks ;).
Congrats on Crossfire fit lady!! Yes, those 10 sec rest are just killer.
I have the same problem with my tummy bulge. I'm in great shape but my lower abs is smooshy :(. I doubt it's fat though Sarah. You did carry twins and had another pregnancy after that. A lot of it could be stretched out skin. I was a HUGE carrier with my pregnancy and 65lbs is a lot of weight. I don't think my stomach will ever be completely flat again. Most women who have had children (especially more than 1) have that problem. It's the gift of children that keeps on giving :rolleyes: ;)

I F'ing HATE firecrackers in residential areas!!! It should be banned!! Except for the little hand sparkler ones :D. On July 1st, I was kept up until 11:00pm hearing that :mad:. I'm sorry you had to listen to that noise crap too and had to deal with the lawn maintenance that went with.
I love cookies and cream ice cream! Oh heck, I love all kinds of ice cream :eek:. It's good to have that treat once in awhile ;).

Sarah-Congrats on CrossFit, the 10 seconds is not enough. Checking in has made me accountable especially when I don't want to workout. Your garden sounds like a delicious salad. It is good financially to have a garden too with this weather. Did you try TTM yet? My stomach is not flat either, used to be when I was 30ish.

Natty-Hoping Bella is doing better. And, you too. Too bad you cannot claim your workouts at the border crossing. You will be ready when you get them and will appreciate the workouts. Have your DH film you and send it to Cathe for the next set of workouts. Intensity would be the one for that.

Today, it's supposed to be 103 degrees. If MI gets rain, it has been destructive but it's dangerously dry here. Got a couple of compliments on my blog from a friend and a local connection on Linked in. It's getting easier to write. Mark and I worked out our issues, we have remained friends. We get along but like most men my age, they prefer to date someone SO much younger. In regards to my former internship, I had doubts prior to doing it and I should've SHOULD'VE listened to my gut. GOD will take care of those at that company.
Contemplating working out today even though I have A/C, it will still be hot.
The fireworks have continued even last night, I turn off my A/C to save money so I use a fan.
Applied for a social media position in my old industry. Not too many bloggers here, not any my age really. Time will tell.
 
The workouts have arrived via Canada Post!!!!! Although I have to wait until tomorrow to retrieve them at the post office, I'm still excited to test drive those suckers for Sat & Sun :eek: :eek:. Today's workout will be MMA Boxing.

So I just came back from the Dr. office after getting a tremendous amount of guilt from my family and Mark to take Bella there. I honestly didn't think the doctor would do anything special, and I was right. He told me she just basically has to have a BM movement on her own and increase her water and fiber consumption (which I had already knew). My family likes to be extra paranoid and jump the gun :rolleyes:. I'm glad I proved them wrong, as they were making me feel as though I was abusing my child or something :rolleyes:. Sorry, vent post.

I'm sorry things did not work out between you and Mark. I cannot understand why men would prefer to date younger women :confused:. Older women are so much more confident, secure, experienced, and the inner beauty surpasses their younger counterparts IMO.
Ha, ha, Have Mark film me??? That would be quite hilarious :D. I should actually have him watch me just to see how fit I actually am. He thinks I'm just tip toeing around or something :)

Natty. Congrats on getting the workouts finally. Also, on being right about Bella. My sister's in-laws do the same thing to her and she proves them wrong continually. Your DH will learn, my sister's DH is learning the hard way.
Let us know which workout you do. Going to try a local place I found b/c of road construction. It got 5 star rating.
 
My family does the exact same thing to me about the kids and the doc.

Them "Your gonna take her in, right?"

Me "Hadn't planned on it"

Them "She's had a fever for along time"

Me "It's been 2 days"

They make me seconds guess myself, and I doubt myself that I usually make an appt.

Is Bella uncomfortable? Did you try bribery to put the suppository in? I know it's sounds bad but sometimes it's worth it.

Congrats on the DVD's I cant wait to hear what you think of them.

Yesterday I did Cyclemax.

My friend that has the kids called yesterday. He has had enough :( They have been fighting with each other :mad: I will be picking them up today.

Today at this local place, I had a homemade greek gyro with lamb plus fries. 900+ calories. A lady that works there recognized me from my old job. Gave my business card to a guy whom is high up at University of Phoenix. He thought my card was cool.

Sarah. Younger men hit on me lots. Thought I would try someone my age.
