Hola! Walk/run@5:30am, nothing else. I decided to forgo coffee today and I dragged all day long. Won't be doing that again!
Melanie here's the link for warrior dash:
http://www.warriordash.com/ it's a 5k + obstacles. I did it last year, my time was an hour 20 minutes I think (mostly walking - I called it the princess saunter) , this time I want to do it in under an hour.
For the pumpkin pie you need pie pumpkins, not carving pumpkins. They're quite a bit smaller and labeled specifically for pies. The recipe called for 2cups of purée and 2kins gave me just under 2 cups, next time I'll buy 3. cut them in half, scoop out the innards and bake @350 until fork tender (45-60 min). After cooling scoop out the flesh, blend well then strain the liquid out w cheesecloth. Use it in place of canned pumpkin in any recipe. My active time in the kitchen was probably about 20min, the baking and straining were what took a long time, next time I'll prepare it the day before I want to use it.
I'm with you on weighing in. If I think I haven't lost weight I don't weigh in. Why go out of your way to aggravate yourself? Only exception is end of month, I like to have a number to compare one month to another. Those STS abs are killers! Did you do one tonight?
Tina sorry you're cooped up indoors! Those loaves sound delicious, good for you for sending them out into the world. Do you have any other crafty hobbies that could take you away from baking? I have a friend who makes soap and candles as a substitute for her kitchen activities. Those hypnosis podcasts sound intriguing. My (occasional) problem is procrastination, I might look around for something hypnotic on that.
Shereta are you still doing well w your new eating plan?
Have a great Friday ladies
