Morning to all!
Will be doing a new Kickbox that arrived over the weekend! Kickbox Bootcamp with Keli Roberts. Its five 10min segments so even if I dont like it I know that I only gotta get thru a few minutes til it changes! I previewed yesterday.. We shall see.
LIC weights yesterday has left me a noodle-ishy today... good workout!

Mary: Did mom come home yesterday? Does she need a nurse at her place? Keeping prayers coming.

Amy, Teddygirl, Lori, Gidget, Cheryl, Belinda, Heather - Keeping all of you in my thoughts for happy day amnd fabulous workouts.

Have appointments all day today so I shall pop in when I can. :)
 
Good Morning Girls,

Can you beleive that I am up before the little guy? Its almost 10 o'clock and I thought I should get up and have alittle "me" time before he wakes.
Im not 100% sure of todays workout but I think it will be back and a run. AND if I am brave and energetic this afternoon, I may do PLB again.DH also wants me to help him paint the basement and I am not sure when that will take place.

The bloat I was feeling yesterday as finally passed! I actually looked bloated as well. I felt horrible. I was eating alot of fruit and thats really all I could blame it on. The scale even showed it but it is back down again now.

I did B&G today. My outer thighs were wishing they were somewhere else. I think I'll give myself 4 points for that one, does that sound about right to you ladies?

Traci - How did you find Kelli Roberts wo. Does she compare to Cathe? I never do anything but Cathe. I have p90x, but it just sits there in my drawer getting dusty.

Heather, I think its kind of hard to say with weight workouts.You dont get as many points as you would have if you were doing cardio. I always have trouble in this area b/c online they ask if your workout was low,med or high. And as far as i am concerned any Cathe workout is high!But then if I put everything in as high I just feel like I am taking advantage and trying to earn more points.I think they gave me 2 points yesterday for my 25 min chest workout and 5 points for my 60 min aerobic workout.If you plan on eating these points, I think I would eat 2-3 extra points. I know ita a bummer but if you burned 300 cals doing a workout then they will only give you 3 points, which would be 150 extra cals in your day. You don't get to eat everything that you worked off. It makes sense but its really rotten when you work so hard and you get a couple of points! Even with a 8 mile run I only get 6 or 7 points!

Gidget:: Oh happy day on the ME time! A womans just got to have that every day I think! So happy bloat is gone! I am with ya this week on feeling like a puffer fish… I just drink an extra 32oz (I already drink about 80 a day) and that seems to solve most of the bloat. Enjoy your run and/or PLB!

Heather:: Already completed B&G??? ^^5 on being so proactive! I decided today will be an afternoon workout as I have a Drs appt this morning. I have always used an HRM to determine my calorie burn (thus points) for activity when I did WW so I can’t help ya out on the 4 point guess… sorry! I found Keli Roberts on Amazon... actually just got 4 new ones… I was looking for a KenpoX type vs. cardio kick (Cathe). After completing the X in January I learned that my body craves very little cardio… I actually lost the last of my weight and got great BF results by doing X as written. That was about 6 hours a week LESS cardio than I had been doing all year! Even when I do my Cathes now I use no riser and often do low impact to keep HR in training zone vs. interval zone. Just works better for me.

My name is Amy,I'm a SAHM/wife/college student and I'm 28!I would love to be apart of the WW thread!I went to my 6th week meeting last night,lost another 2pds,making it a total of 8!WW broke a very long plateu(5months:()and I am very impressed with it!And of course I'm a cathe fan,discovered her back in december of 06' and have been hooked eversince!I usually post in OD thread so this is new for me!

well just wanted to introduce myself,can't remember if I have ever posted in this thread before!

I'm also up before the kiddies and loving it,I'm currently doing the beginner rotation and loving it too!lost so far about 2inches,with the help of ww!I'm in the sixth week(beginner rotation) and had a blister yesturday so I think I'll take it easy today! anyways,I hope everybody enjoys there day,and I look forward to talking to everybody here:7!...........bbl!

Traci, good luck on the Dr's appt and congrats on the new workouts! You and DH have been on my mind a lot lately and I hope things are going as well as they can be during this time of transition.

Lori, yayy on B&G!!! I may have to follow your example...

I actually made it out to the group run at 5:30 a.m. for the first time since last October. It went great! I'm sitting here shivering, though - always happens. Six miles - and still time for a weight workout. Choosing which, and either B&G or PUB sounds tempting today. I'll check back in later.

The saga continues on my business transition. This can't get done fast
enough! I'm very excited about the new company; just have to get this split over with as soon as possible.

Good Morning,:) :)

I took another vacation day yesterday, it was needed. Anyway, I do not have time to chat tons of work is on my desk.

This morning, I was up at 4:30 to work chest, but just couldn’t I'm feeling tired, I had a REALLY Busy Weekend.

My rotation is way off this week, haven’t did an UB workout since Saturday, therefore putting S&H on the back burner till next week just going to finish this week working my chest, back, bi’s tri’s. I ll be back.

Sunday, low max:9
Monday, GS legs & 30 min jog:9
Tuesday, Imax 2 I could barely finish the workout this morning,x( but by interval 5 I had more energy :D

Hi everyone...just checking in for a mintue. my mom is still in the hospital and is now bleeding heavily from the rectum. they are going to give her a blood transfusion to try and raise her platlets so she will stop bleeding. this has been such a difficult time and part of me does not want her to suffer anymore and part of me does not want to lose her. the funny thing is...when i think about her passing away i almost feel like i am a little girl again. my mom is the one person in this world that thinks i am perfectt and i could do no wrong in her eyes. please keep praying for whatever is Gods will.
 
Welcome Aboard Amy A3:: Congrats on all your success so far! Gotta rejoice when plateaus are busted! I’m a watcher of weight (not a WW’er) but did the program a few times in past few years. Now pretty much at goal weight just tweaking areas of the body.

Cheryl:: Thanks so much for continued positive vibes.. It is a trying time and I appreciate your thoughts. I know you too are staying positive looking towards the future & trying to not get caught up in the mud of the split. I so value your outlook & input! WOW & YAY on the 530 run! Bet your group was mega impressed with all your accomplishments the past few months.

TeddyGirl:: LOVE vacation days!! Now get your booty in gear and catch up! So sorry your rotation is a bit of course but set revised plan into action and just getter done! I believe in you!!!

Mary:: {{{{{{{mary & mom}}}}}}}} OF course you feel like a little girl again… losing a parent or watching them suffer makes all of us want to go back to the days of mom taking care of us. I felt the same way 2 years ago when my mom was very very sick. You are being flooded with emotions & decisions right now- all I can offer is permission to feel how you feel. You are your moms little girl and forever will be, I know she must be proud of you. Remember that they need to know that in your grief you know you will ultimately be OK. Life changes and it sucks big time sometimes. Be true to yourself and take all the time you can with your mom. Many many prayers.

On to business meetings... like you, Traci, I'm fighting to keep myself out of the mud. It's going to be a hard saga for a bit longer here, but I couldn't be more excited about the outcome. I am religious enough to believe strongly that God is watching out for us in trials like these.

Good morning everyone!

I was so happy that I got to sleep in this morning! I was wide awake at 0500 this morning and was a little bummed that I was, but I eventually fell back asleep.

Today DH and I are getting our taxes donex( ! It's always a hassle because of DH's disability and all. It's never painless, we've had to pay for the last several years, but fortunately, the appointment is only 45 min long.

Gidget- Oh happy Day on the "me" time!! It's always a wonderful feeling!

Cheryl- I hope that you are feeling better soon! Congrats on getting all the "little" things done yesterday!

Traci- I am sorry about the misunderstanding! I didn't mean that we would be moving this summer....I am looking at next year (2008) to head to school. I need that time to get my GRE taken and to send applications, etc, etc, etc!!! I am glad to hear that you are going to trek thisaways. You HAVE to go through P-cola to get to the Keys! I keep thinking and praying about DH and his business stuff as well!

Mary- Lots of hugs to you, girl!! I totally know what you mean about mom....mine is my best friend!!!

A3- Are you following me??? Just kidding! I started WW almost 2 1/2 yrs ago and have morphed my program into something that works for me (not that WW didn't, I just found that I didn't get enough food with Cathe workouts). Welcome aboard!!!

Heather- I am also one of those that wears a HRM to determine my calorie expenditure. I found that when I was following WW, it helps a lot with the activity points.

Well, all, I think that I have to officially get on with FF's rotation today, although I am not exactly sure where I should start back at. I think that I will start where I left off, which is perfect because that means today is yoga and I think that that's just what I am going to need after the tax meeting!! AUGH!!! I'm with Cheryl, though, I think that the "rest" week was just what I needed! It actually helped me on the scale, and looking back over the week, I still ate about 1500-1600 cal a day when I was sick.....even though my range is supposed to be higher. Oh well!
 
Hi Girls:)

Back to report my workout while I feed the child with my other arm:) Feeding time goes by alot faster when I have something to do!
So,I did GS Back & Shoulders, MM Back & Shoulders & Abs, then when I had everyone situated with their lunch, I ran for 4 miles on the TM. Kinda lucky that I got all of my run in b/c Rylan started waking up.I felt good while running and I could have went further but my aim was 4 miles and I am happy I got it done :)

Mary, I haven't lost either one of my parents yet so I have no clue what you are going through, but I really dread the day when something happens to them. It is hard to watch the ones we love suffer and its even harder to let them go. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

Cheryl, good job on the workout even though you didn't feel your best.It really sucks when we drag our feet but we can't be super women everyday! LOL

Amy, welcome! You will have fun checking in here, I know I look forward to it everyday:)

I didn't workout this morning. I took My DD to the Airport this morning. She and her boyfriend are flying to Orlando Fl. for a week.
I feel a little homesick after bringing her to the airport!

Belinda – sort of a rest day, I did Imax2 this morning, but back with a vengeance tomorrow :p

A Great Big Welcome too all the new comers:) :) :)

Me and sis went shopping Saturday, I brought some pretty nice things. I finally found me a deep blue jean one piece jumpsuit, I have always wanted one, but they were all to pricey, get this the med was to big I had to buy a small:7 :7

I tell ya, my body is leaning nicely my hard work is surely paying off. The pants, I brought from New York & Co 3 or 4 weeks ago, I can fit them now, I wore them Sat and they looked nice on me. I've been playing in my closet and all my clothes fit me good.

Im proud of myself :p I could not have done it without you guys you inspire me to push myself harder. I finally figured it out why I was so pooped this morning, I worked out hard this past weekend body needs a rest day :eek: I kinda/sorta gave it that this morning:eek: On my lunch today I brought more vitamins I got the One A Day for active folks :9 :D

No, workout for me tonight, going home taking hot bubble bath and in the bed, NO questions asked. My workout tomorrow is either going to be KPC & GS Back or Legs & Glutes Extreme & Back, I like this combination, back & kickboxing :p I shall see, could change it :+ I'm feeling like Butts & Guts, but going to TRY and hold out that's Thursday w/o :p :p You guys have a ((GREAT)) evening.

Hi, everybody! Had to see what everyone was up to.

Like Amy1, the sick week plus today's outdoor run seemed to help on the scale. 123.2 this morning, hurray!! So happy. I'm thinking 5 more is the ticket, but my cute little Lucky's are feeling great!

Teddygirl, I'm so so happy with your results! what a great thing to be able to fit into the goal clothes you bought weeks ago. Nice to be able to shop in your closet :)

Client meeting this morning with soon-to-be-ex partner was horrible in some respects - she's awful - but other than that, the day has been great. I'm looking forward to some very good things.
