Good Morning Gang!:)

I can't beleive I am the first one up! But I wish I wasn't and I am hoping to get a couple more hours of sleep.
I have a tooth ache and I managed to get 3.5 hrs of sleep so far. Theres no Tylenol in the house so I can't take anything for the pain b/c I am breastfeeding. Its a tooth that bothered me a few yrs ago and I should have just had a root canal done while DH had wonderful dental coverage, now he as nothing, and neither do I. It will cost me about $800 to get this problem fixed but if there were a dentist in my room right now willing to do it....I don't think I would care to much! LOL And the pain just isn't in the tooth, it goes right up to my right temple.

Anyway, if this keeps up I think I will have no problem getting up in a couple of hours to get my workout done. I have baby group in the morning as well and I have BURPS after lunch so if I can get a shorter run in, I will be happy with that.

Morning Lori! So sorry you arent getting much rest! Take it easy today.

Woke up with DOMS in booty from Barrys Bootcamp Butt & Legs & Cardio.
The actual workout is nothing overly exciting- traditional standing & some plyo type work. The cardio on this DVD is way to much plyo for doing it back to back with yesterdays cardio for me so at least I know to mix other cardio type workouts in with BBC. I kept my step height for all the leg work to 8" vs their 12" as my legs bulk with step height. Today is Chest & Abs + cardio in Barrys Roation.
I did Barrys Legs/Butt + Cardio at 6pm and had done some HiLo & Kick in AM for about 50 minutes. Today I will probably do zero cardio and just the strength.


Back with personals from yesterday but hoping and praying that Cheryl is OK- I dont think theres EVER been a no post day! I JSUT SAW HER POST!!!!!:D YIPPEE!!!! Cheryls ok- just working way to many hours!!! I am RELIEVED!:7 :7 :7 :7 :7 :7 :7 :7 :7

Morning Traci:) Looks like its just the two of us! Although I am typing this with one hand again so there could be 20 more post by the time I am done;)
Glad to hear your booty is a hurt'in! Its nice to feel it sometimes.Im glad the pain isn't as great as it would be if it were your first workout..LOL You can see why people never return to the gym! I can remember when I was younger and not being able to walk after lifting weights:) I thought I was gonna be like that when I got back into working out but I wasn't.

The tooth ache is still there but not as bad.I got another couple hours of sleep and I feel better then I did yesterday after having 5 straight hours, plus some. When I get some tylenol I will feel alot better.The bad thing is my dentist is so booked up.When I call I may get an apt for June or July.And I don't want to go to my old dentist cause I think he is a rip off...you never can tell with dentist!

Anyway....hope no ones DH is a dentist LOL:) Didn't get my workout in but we will see what happens as the day goes by.

Cheryl- I am so glad that you are doing okay, that it's just busy-ness that's keeping you from playing. I hope that it lets up a bit so you can breathe!!!

Traci- LOL at the Booty DOMS! Mine are a bit on the tight/achy side as well. The shoulders are fine, though. Still looking at Barry's Bootcamp, though. I have been thinking seriously about it and looking at the website. I haven't been super busy this week, I have been having sleep issues for some reason. I haven't been able to fall asleep until about 3am every night this week! Even now, I'm up after only a few hours of sleep, but then I have a nap planned into this afternoon!!!;)

Lori- I am so sorry about the toothache! I hope that it either lets up, or you find some Tylenol!!!

Heather- More hugs to you!

Mary- I am glad to hear Mom is home! I know that it will be a bit scary for her....her safety net of the nurses is gone. But she will be much more comfortable!

Today is Kick, Punch, but no Crunch. I did the abs from BM2 yesterday, so none today. I didn't realize until about 30 minutes into my workout yesterday that I really hadn't eaten enough to support the heavy weight work. I was having problems with boinking BIG time!! It was also taking a lot longer for my HR to come down after the leg portions than usual. Fortunately, I have that P90X recovery drink in my pantry. I don't drink a lot of it, but about once every couple of weeks, I need the extra oomph that it provides, especially during the workout. I felt TONS better after downing a couple of swallows of it and had no problem finishing the workout! Funny thing, I thought that I had eaten enough because I had some yogurt and a banana with PB on it before the workout. I guess that I lost track of time, but when I looked back, it ended up being close to 2 hrs that I had that snack before the workout! Oh, well, live and learn, right??? I was thankful that I had that drink stuff, though!

Oh, I am going to my WW meeting tonight as well. I think that I have DH talked into going with me so we can enjoy a nice meal out afterwards! I also have to return some wet cat food to the store due the recall, but that's next door to the WW meeting site.

I had to laugh (sorry for the flight of ideas!!) the other day. DH wanted a sandwich for dinner and starting rummaging through the fridge. He was very disappointed that there was no mayonnaise in the fridge! I totally couldn't believe it, but yes, DH was right, there was no mayo in the fridge. That is completely unheard of in my house, normally!!! So, he decided that ranch dressing would suffice.....yup, NO ranch dressing either!!! I guess that my fridge can attest to my clean eating habits!!!

Hi, everyone!

Traci, Amy, yes, I'm here and I'm okay - a little in shock though. One of the meetings yesterday was with my attorney to review the reocrds he'd helped me demand from my bus partner. She provided only a a few, but enough to put me in shock... found out what salary she's really been getting this past 4 years... found out our agency has been renting her boat for "client use" for $3,200 a year for at least the past 2 years; maybe more. Also found out she's paying her "spouse" (wife - not sure what to call her) a grand salary that's $10K above mine!!! Aaargh. Because we're separating this is probably a blessing that the situation is so blatant, since it gives us such good leverage to make sure this goes fairly ...

If we took it to court it would long, arduous, expensive and ugly - yet I don't want to just walk away from it, either. Just at first glance it looks like she's taken something on the order of $135K... (half of which was hers, of course, because we own the company 50/50) - My DH noted how hard we've worked to replace our roof this past few months, and our half of what she's taken would have covered the whole roof more than twice!!!

Back to happier thoughts.

Looking for a nice hard cardio workout this morning - I think MIC will do the trick, and should definitely pick up my spirits.

Traci are you SURE you won't be coming to the Road trip? If you're not.... I'll have to give some serious thought as to whether I'd still plan to go ;-) ;-) ;-)

Good morning lady bugs...what an evening, my mom had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital around 3:30 am. she could not breathe so she is in the e.r. now and we will see what happens. i am so frustrated that i cant be there but with my little ones it is really hard for me. i will keep you posted...today i am going with b&g(standing legs only) and timesaver#4(i love that one) my little guy is teething right now so he is up quite a bit at night, i feel so bad for him.

lori: i am soooo sorry about you tooth, they can be very painful.

cheryl:sounds like the split was the right thing to do. you are such a postivie person and deserve to work with someone honest.

amelia:everytime i say your name i want to sing

amy:way to go on your clean refridgerator. i dont even want to get into my fridge but i will say my dh is addicted to saulsilitos(spelling?)cookies

traci:eek:h traci, i think you could sell me the brooklyn bridge. every time you speak of a workout i can feel your energy and i want it right away. i will let you know about barrys bootcamp.

i think all the stress of my mom makes me want to buy things...so why not workouts right, they are good for you. i will check in later if i can:)

Tracie, Im real excited about Barry’s BC workouts. When I seen the infomercials I was very impress ;) really like his style. I know you said your starting P90X April 1st, right? Do you mind if I tag along? You may mind x( cuz I’m not completely going P90X, but I’ll be using all of his UB workouts, Plyometrics, Legs & Back, Core Synergistics, Ab Ripper that’s it, who knows, maybe even try yoga again. When I was doing P90x yoga, by the way is an excellent workout x( I just found it to be to d*& long, sorry, but it is I though we’d do Downward Dog, forever!!! Let a girl know;)

Okay, Spring is in the air, high 67 loving that ;)

Last night, I had an awesome workout, GS Legs:9 :9 I even surprised myself as far as the weigh I was lifting, Im getting stronger. On my rotation I was suppose to do LIC, but after last night, NO could do.

Therefore, I did an hour jog + CM1. Tonight, S&H biceps going to add on PUB or MIS biceps. I wasn’t all that happy with ab work this morning. Before I do anything Im going to push out 300 cross cables my movements will be very slow, legs fully extended, working all three muscles hard...

TeddyGirl: OH YES START THE X with me on April 1st! (Actally 2nd- Monday!) We'd love to have you check in with Xers too! All of us are done with round 1 and 4 of us are starting again 4/2. We are all kind of varying it up this time but still we're going for XX!

PM me any time- I'm out of loop on weekends most of the time but certainly will respond first thing Mondays. I applaud your efforts to continue to take care ofyour body during this horrid time. Stress makes me shop too! Thats why all the online purchases of late I suppose. You are not alone!

CHERYL: My oh my what a priceless gift you have for patience. I could see myself finding the crazy woman and smacking her! I do hope there is some way to force her into restitution without a court battle. Big prayers for a speedy resolution! hang tough!!! Yep- road trip will be a no go - mainly because I just cannot plan that far ahead right now and all the spots will be taken. I figure thats ok- DH & I are just working out how / when to get to Florida to see Amy & Utah to see you. It'll happen this year- I have faith!

Mary- I am sorry to hear that you mom wasn't home for even 24 hrs!!! HUGS to you and her!!!

Cheryl- WOW!:eek: I am NOT sorry to see you separating ways from the embezzling business partner!!! That's what she is, you know! I know that you are smart enough to figure that out, but sometimes you just don't want to say it, right??? I guess now you see why she was so reluctant to hand over the documents! Anyway, I am still hoping that the separation goes smoothly and quickly!

Teddygirl- I have been looking at StrikeZone as well. I have been eyeing it on Collage Video for the last couple of weeks.

I need to make sure that the money is available before spending it on more workouts. We haven't gotten our taxes back from the CPA, so there's no telling how much we have to pay....and yes, we ALWAYS have to pay because of DH's disability!

Amy I read your post on the open forum. How long did you stay in the military? My husband has 26 years in the military. I think he is going for 30 years or more??? LOL!

Hi Girls,

Amy, you had a early rise as well! Did you weigh in tonight? Hope the scale was good to you. I was talking to another mother today who had a baby before christmas and she as the same amount to lose as I do. She is also working out everyday and realizes that it isn't going to magically fall off. But her baby is 5 1/2 m while mine isn't 3 monthes....guess Im losing it faster then she did! Nah,Nah,Nah,Nah,Nah:p :p }( }( }(

Amelia, this as been a rest day for me as well although I haven't stopped much. I just didn't work up a sweat thats all. But I will make up for it tomorrow morning:) Providing I have a good nights sleep tonight. I have Tylenol in the house now.

Cheryl, did you do MIC? I haven't attempted that one in a long time.

Mary, I am sorry to hear about your mom and you were so excited to get her home. I guess she needs to be where people can take care of her right now. Hopefully she will get home soon.

Teddygirl, sounds like you have a good workout on tap for today. Makes me want to workout tonight but I do not have the energy.

I had a really good time at baby group today. There were 3 other moms there with small babies so there was lots to talk about. Then I went out to BURPS and had the baby weighed. I was telling the nurse there that I was a little concerned about my milk cause I don't seem to have as much as I use to. Then I weighed him and he was up 10 oz in one week! I guess I do have lots of milk! So he is now 13 lbs 4 oz!
Also called the dentist and his earlist apt was OCT! Can you beleive that? BUT he as a early apt on July 4th @ 745 in the morning so I took that and she put me down on the cancellation list.

I think I am going to sleep well tonight when I go to bed or atleast I am hoping to. Sleepover party tomorrow night so I need the energy to keep up with 7 11 yr olds.
