Happy Thursday!
What a day yesterday- computer had to be off all day due to lightening storms… the “kids” were whining & glued to my hips all day… 730pm everything finally settled down and I was able to go to bed for first time since Monday night. We are definitely flooded out here! So happy the forecast is SUN for next 5 days. WooHoo!

Needless to say no workout for me yesterday so today I will do Push Pull + just a 30 minute cardio of some sorts.

Back to yesterday….

Miss Cheryl: YIPPEE on Ab Hits! See my post to Belinda about that one!! You need the Fage Greek Yogurt Police! Are you eating the nonfat/lowfat? Hope your day as judge was great fun! I used to do some of those for HS student things – Those are really amazing seeing all the creativity in the world. So happy your endorphins got a good release yesterday. Continue to feel better!


Miss Amy(original): Oh Amy- about the time you start shifting to a day person its time to become a night nurse again! I really don’t know how you do it every week. How was the WI yesterday? Any surprises either way? YIPPEE that you are seeing such awesome results from your new rotation… I tell ya weight work is way under-rated around here! Ya gotta be stoked about the scale! I am so excited for you!!! Wasn’t 20 pounds this years goal? You’re already almost half way and its only March!!! You’ll be happy to know that yesterdays storms all went to the gulf last night so you probably wont get a sprinkle!


Miss Amy-A3: Have you ever done the LIS Circuit premix? It’s a hoot! It sure sounds like you are loving this rotation! It feels so good to have a rotation that works for your goals doesn’t it? Very happy for ya!

Miss Belinda: I too love Ab Hits! I think its because you can mix n match based on the goals you have. For 2 months I worked abs 3x a week working different muscle points (about 15min each workout) I got GREAT ABS for first time in my life! Day 1 was lower stuff, Day 3 was Oblique & Day 5 was Planks & Traditional crunches. LOVE the CTX series too! I cant wait to hear your thoughts on Cardio Kicks.. I think it’s great!!

Miss Heather: Have you thought about one of the many Upper Body Bliss type rotations out thee? They still have cardio but are really awesome about getting you ready for tank top season! Hope things settle a bit for ya today!!!

Miss Mary: Hope Bootcamp did the trick yesterday and helped burn off stress. I’m thinking of you and amazed at how you are still doing workouts… Sometimes that’s the LAST thing I think about during difficult times. Continued love your way

LOL- You had ME confused on what workouts you have and don’t! You crazy woman!!! Is that a sign that we may have way too many workout DVDs & Tapes???? Do you need help??? LOL – Cant go wrong with any Cathe circuit IMO so HOORAY on HSTA!


Miss Gidget: Yea on SB & all the upper work! I bet you’ll be ready for that bathing suit in no time at all! You are making terrific progress and are so focused… That’s really all it takes. You cracked me up about the dog afraid of fire hydrants! That’s priceless!!!

How is everyone tis Thursday? Me I’m good had a great nights sleep.

This morning, GS legs standing + Butts & Guts premixes overall legs :p :p Tonight, hm..... am suppose to finish the floor work from either one of the workouts, I shall see. The only thing that could possibly stop me, is my cute little 2 year old Grandson, I may have to baby sit, other than that Its’ on:7 :7 Last night, PUB chest & Back.

Ms lovely Tracie, didn’t mean to confuse ya! But, you spoke the truth, to too many DVD’s and tapes. But needing to add on I HAVE to have Barry’s Bootcamp, OMG it's a must, that's what my doctor is ordering me to get ;) ;) I don’t think I’m buying anymore Cathe’s till new one come out. But, PLEASE don’t hold me to that, I still would like Terminator and there’s one other. But, ordering Barry’s REALLL soon:9 :+ I bet you have it don't ya x(

Good morning everyone...today i am going to do an intense house cleaning and i may even wear my hrm to see just how many calories i burn. i a have been meaning to get my house in order but with the my moms condition i have been putting it off. i think the chaos in the house is making me feel even more stressed out. today is her colonoscopy so we will see what happens.
traci thank goodness the rain has stopped. where do you live, you seem to get a lot of storms?

teddygirl good look not ordering any dvds, i always say i am going to wait well....lets just say i have all of them

Tracy..I'm am enjoying the beginner rotation but it will be over in three weeks so after that,I'm kinda thinking about doing the intermediate rotation that Cathe posted recently!Is the lowimpact step the same as the LIS curcuit you mentioned?lol,Cathe's got sooo many workouts,i get them confused! And yes,its such an amazing feeling to finally get the results I've been waiting for!I've lost an whole inch in each thigh,in the first five weeks(or maybe four,gotta check journal) of doing the beginner rotation!I think its all those sqats and lunging!!still got alot of weight to go,about 35-40pds until I reach my goal but I know I WILL,one day :7!Thanks,sorry this post is so long!talk to ya later!

Belinda..I'am very excited about doing the march 07' rotation,I'm still a beginner/intermediate excersicer so i think it will work well for me!I'll start it in about three weeks! Sounds like your enjoying it!I don't have all the dvd's that go along with it,but maybe can talk DH into getting some more,I ordered alot of Cathe during christmas so not so sure he will go for it!have a great day!

Oh ya,I forgot to ask,If I don't use any activity points will I lose more weight or will it backfire and not loose so much!I earned 8pts yesturday and didn't use them,went to bed kinda hungry,don't want to go through that agian!thanks in advance!
 
Back again-

The plan was to do Imax 1 & 2 Blasts only for some lower/cardio work… Well popped in Imax 2 and the premixes started skipping & freezing- went to Mix n Match & did same thing… got the DVD cleaner out and that did the trick but after screwing with it for 28 minutes I decided to go ahead and finish it and start with Step/Blast #4 thru end… Needless to say I did not have time to do Imax 1 blasts and PP so I will get cleaned up- go to DPS (DMV for you west coasters) and get some other errands run. Push Pull will be done at 3pm.
Best laid plans eh?

I live in Houston- We're right on the Gulf of Mexico and its the humidity capital of the world so we get ferrocous storms all year long... Usuallu we have an hour a day of rain March- Sept but they pass quickly- This one was a rare occurance. ENJOY your cleaning- I find house cleaning very therapeutic...DH laughs and says the house is so dirty when I'm happy!

On AP's..... I think you gotta play with that. I ate those plus flex and still didnt get enough calories to lose weight but everyones different. You can start off eating half your APs and go from there. Do you use a HRM? or is it a best guess on calorie/intensity. If its a HRM then you more than likely can handle all the APS - if its a guess then I'd for sure start with half. Just my thoughts!

Off to get cleaned up and head out for the day.

Amy A3: Nice work, yep, there’s so many rotations and workout DVD’s does get confusing. March 07 intermediate, is a goodie. Congrats, on the inch lost, that’s awesome. Keep up the excellent work :)

Mary: I must have missed this I hope and pray that your mother gets better ((hugs)) I been there before. That’s a good ideal, let me know how many calories you burn from house cleaning. Have a nice day:)

I tell ya, DOMS in legs, going to give them a little break. Tomorrow, just working my UB and abs, okay....okay....depend on how legs are feeling JUST MAYYYYY do an hour on TM just to loosen the stiffness up a bit, I'll see x( :) :p

Hi, everyone!

I'm sitting here still kind of shell shocked over all the business drama... it'll all be okay, but a few surprises have erupted...

I've been endeavering on B&G a bit at a time this morning in between e-mail checks with everything going on.

Traci, yes, definitely eating the Fage 2%. I did have some fullfat over the weekend that I bought just to taste and it was delicious, but I won't be doing that again. You can guess what I had for breakfast this morning - comfort food of choise right now!!

Teddygirl, I would be willing to send you my copy of Terminator. I do circuits so seldom it's been sitting here languishing. So PM me your address if you'd like to give it a good home, at least for awhile :)

Amy, you are doing so well - you are an inspiration right now -

Amy 3 you gonna like March 07 rotation! I did Nov.06, Dez.06, Jan.07 and Feb.07 rotations. March 07 rotation is only 1 hr. I like it! I can't wait what Cathe comes up with in April??? Congrets on your weight loss!

Cheryl I am sorry your business drama! Hope you don't have anymore business suprises! Enjoy whatever workout you decide to do!

Tracy-X-I'm using the points slider to determin the AP's,wish I could afford a HRM!! Going by my weight and intesity level,it sure does give me alot of AP's and I'm kinda scared to use them!I'll take your advice and kinda play around with them! and I envy you living on the gulf,WOW would love to live there(one day!) happy cleaning to ya!:7

Teddygirl-Thanks for the congrats,I'm so excited about all those rotations cause eventually I'll get to them(still a beginner). And congrats on the DOMS,I lovvve DOMS!As long as they don't hurt to much!;)

Hi Girls!

I can't bleive that it is 3:30 and I am just checking in.I have been on the go all day and I am finally home for the day...thank goodness.
Baby group was o.k today but most of these babies are alot older then mine so I was talking to my friend and I think we will start something with a few babies that have been born recently.I think I will have alot more in common with them.

Sooooooooooooooo, I weighed today and the scale said 137.9 lbs
:) Im happy with that and I bet I will have another 4lbs loss this week, I just hope I don't gain 2 of them back the next week:eek:
I don't think I will get a workout in today but I haven't had a break in about 3 weeks. I never do that but I guess being so busy I think I have to get it in or I may not get to workout the next day and then I will end up with 2 days off...and we wouldn't want that. LOL I would like to workout though b/c my mom will be here tomorrow and I don't know if I will be able to get a workout in tomorrow morning. If I do anything tonight it will be a staright run. My UB is nice and toasty from all the weights this week.

Anyway, I will check back later. I did read everyones post but I can't remember what you said!

Hey, all!!!

Yes, it's in the afternoon before I get to posting! I couldn't fall asleep last night until about 0300, so I ended up sleeping until noon....I guess it's that "night" thing kicking in! We thought that we'd be getting our truck back from the body shop today, but we're not. Yes, I'm a bit disappointed, but as long as the body shop takes their time, does the work right, that's all that matters!!!

Oh, on yesterday's "official" WI....they had me the same weight as I had on my personal scale...181. But the starting weight was a bit lower than mine because it was taken in the evening....186.5. Either way, 5 1/2 lbs in a couple of weeks is nothing to sneeze at!!! I had to laugh, though, because the lady doing the weigh in was a bit, oh.... "math challenged" shall we say? She was excited because according to her math, I had lost 3 1/2 lbs! I looked at the numbers and said, "I think that's a bit closer to 5 1/2". She looked at it again, and had to break out the calculator!!! Whatever!!! I really think that FF's rotation is kicking in along with the squeaky clean eating (finally!!!)

LoriS- Don't worry about the goings on, you are welcome whenever you can make it by!!! I hope that everything works out!

Traci- I woke up this morning for a brief "bathroom" break to rain...nice rain not horrendous storms! I am glad that your storms have quit and the "babies" can leave you alone for a while now!! I hope that you get all your errands done! When do you go back to your new doctor? I have a question about that hormone thing if you could ask her (or Cheryl). When I had my levels checked recently, I came back with a pretty low cortisol level and a low T4 level, but everything else was normal. My doc was concerned about either of them, but I was just wondering what the hormone docs thought. Thanks!!! Oh, I was going to let you know that I found that soy creamer you mentioned at the local health food store. I didn't end up getting it because I got myself off creamer. Yes, 20 lbs is my goal for this year, and I am hoping that I can at least get off 1/2 that by the time the Road Trip comes around!

Cheryl- I hope that shell-shocked was a good thing....if not, I am sorry and I hope that it passes quickly.

Gidget- Congrats on the scale!! I know that it's a struggle!

Everyone else.....I hope that you have a good day. Today is SH Chest/back. I am feeling my abs from yesterday's ball routine from B&G as well as still feeling yoga from Tuesday!!! It's all a good feeling, though!
 
Hi just popping in...i did wear my hrm while cleaning and in 60 miunutes i burned 604 calories:) i told my dh and he told me that i should skip cathe and just clean...i ofcourse told him he was crazy but i still thought that was a lot. mom may be coming home tomorrow i will let you know. does anyone check in on the ww forum??

cheryl...take your time getting it together.. boy do i know business. my dh and i own a business together and i work from home with my 2 boys.

The good news in all this drama is my weight today was 122.0, even with only the 20 min. workout. There's a silver lining :)

I have a splitting headache and I'm going to call it a day - but on the whole it's been a very productive one :)
