Workouts & eating went as planned for weekend & for some reason biceps & shoulders & abs feel like I lifted heavy weights yesterday - all I did was Cardio Kicks & Circuit Max without weights...VERY STRANGE!
Today is Barrys BootCamp Full Body - very anxious to try this one out as its all body weight vs dumbbells
Gotta go catch up on all the chatter from weekend... From the quick glance it appears everyone had a great weekend ... I shall return after more coffee- lots of cob webs this morning.

How is everyone? Ready to start another week?

I woke up today with the cold comming back again. I had a touch of it last week but it didn't amount to anything until now. Im hoping it will just pass off again.
I also saw a rotation over on the OD boards and I think I am going to give it a try, except for the days when its just weight work. I am either going to do a run with it, or a run after dinner before bed time. Not a long run just 30 mins or so.That incorporated with a super clean diet this week should help me lose:) I also found some bread last night thats only 1 point for 2 slices. Now, grant it, the slices of bread aren't normal size peices but its still big enough to make a sandwich:)

Cheryl, good job on the scale! Your getting there! I bet the cake was yummy:9 I haven't had ice cream cake in ages.

Amy, good job on the run. it doesn't really matter how fast you go, its just that fact that you didn't it and you can always improve on your speed and distance. I know I didn't run very fast at first but its been 8 yrs so I have had some time to get better.

Traci, are you home yet? Did DH women-nap you and keep you for another day?

Mary, I hope your mom gets home today!

Ah...Traci, you snuck in there.

Sometimes I am more sore after doing kickbox then if I had lifted weights. Stange isn't it? I went for a walk with the baby on Fri in his snuggly and my legs were sore almost all weekend. I guess I was carrying weight in my front so I got a great workout in but I didn't see it comming cause I didn't feel like i was getting a workout when I was walking...so it just hit me the next day.

Glad to hear everything went as planned this weekend and you didn't overindulge!

Good Morning!!!

Well the weekend went off without too many hitches!!! I had some really great patients this weekend that weren't super busy and super needy. Heck, all they wanted to do was sleep! I can handle that!!!

Welcome back Traci!!! I am glad that your weekend was a good one! I totally understand about the soreness after kickboxing!! I did that Thursday, then yoga on Friday and my upper back was very DOM-y!

Well, the shift is over, I have to give report then scoot on home!!!

Lori: So sorry about the cold again! Please take care of yourself today. AWESOME running this weekend! I hope I get back into it like you gals! On the wt loss every other week… I’ve been like that for a year now! I actually think its healthy as the body has time to adjust its set point!

Cheryl: Massage day Sat? WOOHOO!!!!!! Congrats on your great run! I am planning on starting to run…AKA: jog, again starting this week or next. We have rain in forecast today & tomorrow but we’ll see. I am hoping that running will be enough of a cross training so I can get to 120 in April. Its my eating that’s holding me back as well tho. My protein is too far down and healthy carbs too high… What a fabulous birthday dinner! A body building son? OMG I want to be a body builder…except I want to only workout an hour a day, eat what I want and not compete!lololol CONGRATS & ^5 on the scale all time low! You are indeed an inspiration!


Mary: happy that mom is out of ICU. I’m sure the running back & forth to hospital is taking its toll so be good to you!!

Jane: LOL- I keep up with you by reading your daily check in! I know how hard it is to be in 2 places every day – I am sooooo happy about DS! What a wonderful Springtime gift!

Amelia: Congrats on the new scale purchase and on saving $$ with weigh-ins! Now you can afford more workout DVDs!!!

Heather: Congrats on clothes feeling better! I know what ya mean about all the parties & celebrations. They seem to come in groups in my family as well! You’ll get past it- just stay focused ob your goals and don’t let little setbacks get to you.

Good Morning Fellow WW'ers!

Hope everybody had a good weekend! I'm kinda glad its monday(I know smack me in the head)because DH drove me nuts all weekend! He hates shopping,so why go? Atleast thats what I told him;-)! Speaking of shopping, I tried on about 50 pairs of capris and still couldn't find any I like,they just don't flatter me in any way,but there better then wearing shorts!Sorry about the DH thing,had to vent! Todays workout will be bodyfusion(agian)yesturday couldn't finish it because of a popped blister!

Lori-Maybe your "start of a cold" will pass agian,I read your post about writing Cathe a post and you had me LOL,It took me like three of four times to figure out what I was going to say to her,Im just glad we can edit a post,after its been posted! Enjoy your day!

Traci-yes,I decided to not go to anymore meeting;( ! The support there is great,and very postive people too! If I don't have any luck doing it myself I'll be heading back! Have a great day!

hello everyone...good to see almost everyone is up and posting. i had my wi this morning and i did not lose or gain any weight, i will probably lose 3 lbs. next week like last time. my mom is still in the hospital and we will find out today if she will be allowed to go home with hospice or if she will remain in the hospital. i will let you know. i did not get any workouts in this weekend and as soon as i finish this post i am heading up to my weight room and i am not leaving until i finish my workout:)

traci:soooo good to have you back, boy do i love doms and i am going to get me some today:)

lori:feel better, i too have a cold but i am in denial so i dont want to talk about it just yet:)

amy:i am happy to see you had good patients i bet it makes your job even better:)

Amy, glad to her you had a easy weekend:) I use to work at the airport and some weekends were easy but if Fri night was rough, you knew you were in for a hard weekend! Some how sleep deprivation doesn't seem so hard anymore;)

Amelia Oh, you don't have to apologize o us about venting.I think we all need to vent sometimes.DH doesn't enjoy shopping either unless its for himself and in the electronics dept! He hates Walmart but went there every evening two weeks ago to look at a t.v that was on sale.

Mary, we will both lose 3 lbs this week LOL Thts why not losing isn't quit as devasting b/c I always lose big the second week.

Well. its noe 11:15 and no workout started. DS went for his nap but didn't have a good feeding before hand si I figured he wouldn't be asleep for long. So, I cleaned the upstairs. Gave the showers a good cleaning and cleaned out his closet.I think I will be cleaning out his closet alot b/c he is growing so fast!
Hopefully, I will get my workout started when he as his next nap.

This week is my last week of the March rotation! Can't wait what Cathe cames up for next month!

Todays workout is going to be KPC! I love that one:D

thank you belinda:) i did a quick 30 minutes on tm...my mom called and told me she was not getting her pain meds so ofcourse i jumped off the tm and called the hospital. i am going to take and easy day and try and get some office work done. :)

Hello everyone:)

Did you guys have a good weekend? I did, well, sorta my entire weekend all I did was spring cleaningx(x( Saturday I cleaned all day long wasn't able to get my workout in. I tried but house cleaning was priority. Sunday LIC + walked 45 minutes.

This morning, I did a 30 minute jog on TM + GS legs:7 :9 Today’s it suppose to reach 70 degrees, I hope it does, I planned on walking this evening; it always make my day. Slow & Heavy chest is on rotation for tonight, I’ll do it only if it rain, but if not walking. Tomorrow, I'll do S&H chest & back. Back to work will chatter later.

Add-on

I forgot to mention, when I was cleaning on Saturday I seen Beach Body infomercial Hip Hop Abs. I love it, the music and the workout, Yep, Im going to get it. It will definitely make me a better dancer, gotta love it.

Good Afternoon, ladies!!!

Amelia- LOL at venting about DH!! Don't worry, I do it all the time! Yes, I play (sort of)....just during the week. It's mainly just recovering from the night shift on the weekends.

Lori- Sorry about the "cold-ish" feeling. I hope that it passes over and doesn't land!!!

Well, I am very happy that today is a rest day! I have residual DOMs from GS C/T and now a few creeping in from the run yesterday!

The brain is still foggy, so I'll sign off while I remember what I'm talking about! I will check in with you all later!!!

Glad to see everyone is doing well and having a great Monday! I promise more personals tomorrow- just been a CRAZY one!
What a day! Times like this I want to go back to work!!! just not enough hours some days. FINALLY completed Barrys BC Full Body and TaeBo Abs.... I liked the full body (no weights- just body weight) - cant say that its the best "full body" I ever did but there was a cardio factor, lots of pushups, great abs, dips galore and a few plyo moves. I'd do it again but not if I wanted a great full body strength training day. I did realize today how absolutely negilgent I've been with stretching and yoga. I have become very stiff & have lost all my flexibilty I gained with last P90X round. I must stay in that habit after my next X but at least for the next 3 months I just need to press play (ie: do as I'm told!)
Off to make some red fish, sweet potatoes & cauliflower for din din.

this afternoon I did Kick, Punch & Crunch!

After my workout I weighed in and can happely report I didn't gain any weight last week. As a matter of fact, I am still lossing, which is a good thing! I was so afraid to hopp on that scale!
A new week, a new beginning!
