Weight Watchers - Feb to first week of March 2010

Cathlete
Hi all.

Sorry late getting started. DH has been using the computer all morning.

No change for me this week which is a small miracle. I'll take it. I eat when stressed.

Suzanne- glad to hear from you. I hope you and your family are doing well. After everything you've been through this week, staying the same is a success!!

The girl scout cookies tried to get me again last night so I headed downstairs and attempted 4DS HIS. I love that one and I love that I'm more in control lately. I say attempted because I pulled my calf muscle half way through. It was tender from my last workout and once I started HIS, I just knew I was going to be in trouble. So halfway through I hopped on the stationary bike and kept HIS going on the tv. I alternated between hills and sprints depending on what Cathe was doing and finished out the workout that way. I was pretty happy with myself. I could have just called it quits.

So today I'm going to stick with upper body. It'll either be PUB or High Reps UB premix.

BBL to report my menu and such. We are on our way outside to shovel. We have about 5 inches out there...

Suzanne, good to hear from you. Come back to us soon.

Melissa, great job on getting that workout in despite the calf problem.

No workout for me today. Sundays my normal rest day.

My eating was not real good, but Im only over a little bit.

Where's everybody today?

Shereta

Suzanne: glad to see your face (post)

My workout today was shoveling some nice fluffy stuff.

I am embarrassed to report my menu. I unlike Melissa I showed not control today. I know why I was out of control but I need to show more restraint during this time. :( I keep telling myself I will do better tomorrow because it is a new day.

That's right, Elaine, it is a new day.

It seems like we're loosing our steam. I think we all need to recommit.

My goals are fading fast as I should be 3-4 lbs lighter by tomorrow and as of right now, it won't be happening because I've gotten slack. I can see old habits forming again - eating the wrong foods that weigh me down, make me sluggish and unmotivated. When I eat healthily, I am more energized and have a better mood. I like that, so I'm off to plan my menu and workout for tomorrow.

Shereta

Hi all. I posted a few times today, but it was at the older thread.

I bought Supreme 90 today, like I need any more workouts!

Eating today started out strong...then went to a family get together and ate like a pig! Oink oink! :(

I did get a very short workout in today.

Shereta, I agree.....we need to recommit! March 1st is around the corner, we can use tomorrow as a regrouping today and then go full force come March 1st....even if it's midweek, or not near your weigh-in day etc etc. No excuses!

We can do this!! We've got everything to "lose" by recommiting and alot to "gain" by not!!!

Stacy, I'm liking the attitude, Girl.

Today's workout for me was Lower body blast. I earned 10 APs. I weighed in today. I'm the same as last week which is a huge miracle. I'll take it, though.

BBL to report menu.

Good morning ladies!

Lots of re-committing talk going on. I like it!! Just remember, summer is right around the corner. Well, it doesn't look like it in these parts, but it'll be here before I know it. I keep asking myself "what do I want to look like this summer?" and more importantly, "how do I want to feel?". I remember how I felt last summer having to wear shorts and short sleeved or sleeveless tops...not so comfortable with myself. This year is MY year. I can feel it. Re-commit and get to it ladies...WE CAN DO IT!!!:D:):D:)

Today will be a rest day for me. Last night I was working out and felt a "snap" in my calf. Not cool. I think I just really pulled the muscle this time, so I'll rest it for today and see how it feels tomorrow. I was actually supposed to rest it yesterday but I couldn't help myself...:(

BBL with my menu.

OK, I've recommitted effective today.

I've been eating cr@p the past couple of weeks. I don't even know how many points I was eating - I stopped tracking. I expect I was a couple of hundred points over target both last week and the week before. And oh yeah, I only worked out 4 times each of those weeks rather than my usual 6. It was partly that I was still trying to shake my cold, and partly that my lousy eating, as well as not drinking enough water, was causing me not to sleep well.

So last night I planned out my intake for today. I wrote it all down, packed my snacks and lunch for work, and packed my workout clothes for a 6:10 a.m. spinning class this morning at the gym. I weighed myself - yep, 8.5 lbs up from last time I weighed myself on Feb. 7! But it is OK - I know I will be down, at least some, by this time next week. I pushed myself really hard in spinning. It was difficult because I could really feel the extra weight. But I kept my eyes on the prize. I felt SO good when the class was done. Endorphins kicked in big time. I felt like I'd hit a giant Reset button! I drove to work, ate my packed breakfast, filled up my 24 oz water bottle, made myself some herbal tea, and am now getting ready to settle into my morning, feeling very peaceful and in control.

Today's plan:
B - meal replacement shake (7 DP)
S - 1/2 c nonfat Greek yogurt, 1 T flax seed, 1 tsp honey (4 DP)
L - tuna with 1 tsp olive oil, large apple, 2 c raw vegetables (4 DP)
S - raw almonds, 1 small square dark chocolate (3 DP)
D - veggie burger, salad (6 DP)
TBD - 5 DP still to use ... might have some oatmeal with chia seeds and blueberries later
Workout - earned 8 AP in my spinning class

Stacy - Let me know how you like Supreme 90! I'm curious!

Shereta - Recommit with me! You have been doing so great. You are an inspiration to me.

Melissa - Good for you, pushing through like that and changing things up so you could still get a good workout! That takes determination!

Stebby

Girls, I am right there with you recommiting.

I tracked everything I ate and I still have 8APs left until tomorrow (my weigh in day). I can do this!!

This morning I did IMAX2 premix 1-5, and CCV3 I earned 9AP, hence my 8 points left over.:D

Stebby: I think my endorphines where flying as well. I always say I am only going to do upto challenge 2 then steady state and stretch, but I really get into the workout and can't stop myself.:D:D

Melissa: Yes summer is around the corner. Well, at least I keep telling myslf that with every snow storm we get.

Shereta: I lost sight of my goals for a bit but I am re-invisioning them.
I want to reach my 10% mark by May 28th. We are going to Disney that week. I would love to reach my goal weight by then but my 10% mark will make me happy!

BBL with my menu. I am going to strart planning my menus ahead.

Back to report my menu for today (24 pts):

B: 1 egg/3 whites scrambled w/2T shredded cheddar & 2T salsa, 1/2 c 1%
L: whole wheat pita, 1/2 c tuna, 1T light ranch dressing
S: 1/2 baked potato, 2T salsa, 2T shredded cheddar
D: 6 oz chicken, 1 cup each: broccoli, carrots, red pepper, steamed, all mixed with 1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes, 1 c 1%

Elaine - 1/2 of Imax 2 and CCV3...you go girl!!!

Stebby - nice job getting in your spinning workout this morning and preparing for the day!!

Shereta - sometimes it's such a relief to just stay the same, isn't it?!?! Good for you!!!!

Melissa, funny you mention summer, I was just thinking about that this morning and how I want to feel more comfortable in summer clothes. I havent worn shorts in eons! This weather is crazy....last Friday a white-out snow storm, then by Sunday got to 65 degress with an actual thunderstorm and tornado sirens blaring in the wee hours of the morning this morning....now it's back down to 35 degrees again and supposed to dip back into the 20's by tonight!!

Today I packed my lunch but work had another catered lunch-time lecture, ugh. I did have a small portion of the lasagna that was brought in, but no breadsticks. After searching the WW site, I'm figuring my portion was 10 pts.

B--almonds (4)
L--lasagna with meat sauce (10)
D--4 oz chicken breast in a salad with dressing and croutons which I will measure out...total will be 9 pts. I may measure out a portion of parmesan cheese (an add'l 3 pts)
Dessert---Sugar Free Jello Pudding (2)

That would give me 28 points there.

Today was supposed to be a rest day, I may workout if I'm feeling up to it. I had only about 5 hours sleep last night, but not continuous and then a full day at work today.

Whoever asked...I'll let you know how I like Supreme 90. After I ordered it from collage I heard it was available at Walgreen's and Dicks Sporting Goods, bummer I had to pay for shipping now. Oh well. I liked that the workouts were a bit shorter, for days when I'm short on time.

Start singing Michael Buble, cuz it's a NEW DAY and we should all BE FEELIN' GOOOOOD!!

Today was not a good WW day. I was home with DD who was sick. She would not eat anyting except chips and salsa so I ate my weight in chips and salsa. At least breakfast and dinner were good.

My menu:
s. peanuts = 2
b. collards, eggs - 4
s. yogurt, banana, almonds - 5
l. salad, rotissere chicken - 8
s. graham crackers, milk, cookies, cereal bars, apple = wow - 24
d. grilled fish, greenbeans, icecream = 9
wow, again. I've got to readjust my timing = total: 52

Today's workout was Pyramid Upper Body. I use the same weight as Cathe on 95% of the time. Wow.

I've noticed after I eat my second fruit, I start eating ALOT. I've got to get a handle on this.

Shereta - nice job on PUB. Sounds like you rocked it!!

I'm feeling great today. These black dress pants have become a measuring tool for me. And they feel even looser than they did last week. I've caught myself pulling them up a few times already today...:)

Here is my menu for today (24 pts):

S: banana
B: 3 whites/1egg, 2T salsa & 2T cheese, 1/2 c 1%
L: whole wheat pita, 1/2 c tuna, 1T light ranch dressing
S: pear
D: two slices whole wheat bread & 1 slice american cheese, Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup, 1 c 1%

I'm going to attempt a Cardio Coach workout on my stationary bike tonight if my calf cooperates even though I should probably give it one more day. I'll see how I feel during the warm-up.

I just finished doing P90X+ Interval+ for the first time. What a great workout in 30 minutes!! I was dripping with sweat! I then did a section of Cathe's CoreMax.

Food today, will post later as I've only eaten a few pre-workout almonds so far!

Melissa, where yo veggies at? Take care of that ankle.

LOL!!! I know, totally lacking on the veggies today... Thanks for calling me out, Shereta. I'm in desperate need of a trip to the grocery store, which I will take care of tonight.

I do have some raw carrots at home. I'll be sure to munch on those when I get home from work, I promise!!

Melissa: Keep working those triceps by pulling up your pants!;)

Shereta: Great job on PUB. That one is tough on my hands.

Stacy: Sounds like you had a great workout.

Murphy: Hope DD is feeling better.

This morning I did STS TB. I finally did it as produced with all the bonus work. I was shaking at the end.

Today is my weigh in but I am going to wait until Thursday or Friday. It is TTOM and I am feeling the bloat.

Off to paint some closet doors before the buses arrive.
