^^^^Weekend MELTERS^^^^

Morning All:)

I am up too early for a Saturday morning..DH flew with the captain to Portland to look at two other boats..don't ask, yes,he is obsessing over finding a boat to retire on, etc....

Anyway he woke me up of course. Still sleepy, not sure whats going on today, should probably rest, but need to burn off some calories, wasn't the greatest eating week for me.x(

Shelley, whats shakin' beautiful? Sophie around this weekend? I am sure your day will be busy and filled with craziness!:p

Hi to all that follow...*yawns*

Morning, all!

Hmm . . . how come the two West Coasters are among the early birds this morning? ;-)

Shelley -- Hope your day is off to a good start! :) Any fun plans this weekend? Is Sophie with you this weekend?

Tneah -- Oh, how awful that you got woken up so early! Sounds like you need a big nap today! Before I forget, here's the website for the place where I just got my hair done: http://beaucagesd.com/. I went to a woman named Rebecca, whom I really liked. Like I said, though, I feel a little funny recommending her since I've just been to her once . . . I would hate it if she did something funny to your hair, but she really did give me a great cut and color. Will you be zipping around a bit on your adorable new bike today?

Off to start Clean Max! I'll BBL to check in on you lovely gals!

Good morning all.

Shelley, did you start out the day with a workout? There should be an eagle headed your way sometime next week :D

Leanne, that is funny that the westerners are the early birds today. I slept in today, after spending a hour or two walking with a poohsley baby last night.

Hey Tneah. Loved the bike picture. Seems to me like you'll need a whole new wardrobe for it}( ;-)

I'm all done with ME and going to get ready for an afternoon relaxing in the sunshine at our favorite state park:
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...0px-Worlds_End_State_Park_Loyalsock_Creek.JPG

This is Worlds End State Park in northern PA, along the Loyalsock Creek. We're taking some snacks and some lawn chairs and listening to the sound of the creek. Hope you all have plans as nice as mine for today. See you later.

OMG! This is a first...Leanne and myself are the only ones in Melty Land today? Thanks for the hair web site chica, when my grey roots pop, its like they do it overnight!x(

I picked up some root touch up at the drugstore (yep, much to my colorists dismay I use this stuff, it works, its cheap and buys you an extra few weeks!) Will check out your salon, while I am down here in SD, all that needs tending to are my roots and just a trim-especially bangs! I also will look at the other place you listed. Thanks!:)

I downloaded an itrain that has you doing the treadmill, the elliptical and the bike, for 70 minutes, I guess Grace and Keith take turns...looks like it might be a nice change. It'll help "burn off some ice cream" as Coach Sean would say!

And yes, I am going to toodle around on my new bike. I even have DH interested in biking again. This is a very good thing, he really needs to get back into shape...I have visions of us riding around SD together, how romantic, plus, it'll help light that sexual fire too right? Physical activity helps with testosterone levels, so well, you know.
:+

I tried on my outfit I bought, the shirt is adorable! The shoes were horrifying as were the shorts! Shorts are weird to fit I think, well at least on my body. Plus I hate showing my thighs and knees...in the sunlight when I walk I see cellulite and that freaks and grosses me out!:p Better to show off my nice calves instead. They are my favorite bodypart.

What a self absorbed post huh? I should go back and read last nights posts...love you guys, Leanne, I cleaned the whole boat, scrubbed that sucker I did last night, it was so nice waking up to a sparkling clean boat! Have fun cleaning...

Robin, we were posting at the same time! Your park looks lovely!:) What a beautiful, relaxing day you have planned, ahhhh...I can hear the babbling brook already...taking pictures of the birds? I am kinda getting into the bird thing now, am always looking for different kinds...it would be a really fun hobby I think. You are right! My DH said the exact same thing about needing a new wardrobe to compliment my new "ride".:7

OK, what on earth is the "eagle?"

Tneah - I hate the cellulite in the sun deal too. Makes me want to puke. I like my shoulders the best.

Leanne - Hey sunshine. Sounds like you will have fun cleaning today.

Robin - what a beautiful place. Enjoy.

good morning everyone else. I think I am going to do KB again today.

BBL

Hey all!

Oh, Robin, that photo is gorgeous! Sorry that poor Greyor was up last night and not feeling well! Hope you can relax and enjoy that beautiful day you have planned!

Peggie -- Have fun with the KB workout again today! Isn't that a fun one? Do you have any other fun plans for the weekend? :)

Tneah -- Hooray for a clean boat! How cool that DH also told you that you need some cute new clothes to go with your cute new bike. Maybe we can shop for some on Wednesday! ;-) That would be great if you could get Mitch riding with you! There are so many lovely bike paths down by your boat, and I'm sure you'll have fun exploring them! About the hair, Rebecca at Beaucage Salon is really sweet! She's the one who cut my hair short this last time, and she really did a great job with the cut and color! The salon is this tiny little hole in the wall, but it's very cute and homey. The Robert Cromeans Salon downtown is HUGE and really flashy/trendy -- a totally different vibe. Sweetie, I doubt you have any cellulite at all! If you do, only you can notice it, so you should try on those shorts again and give them another go. I've been sticking with capris a lot this summer, which I know isn't the best for my short, stocky legs, but I can't stand the thought of shorts either. Too much cottage cheese going on on those thighs!

I just got finished cleaning what I could since the DH and BIL are still asleep and I have to wait for them to wake up to do the loud stuff. I think I'm going to start my workout now since I think I'm actually having a bit of anxiety attack and feel like sobbing! I'm just feeling super stressed again this morning about the whole BIL thing. I need my space and privacy, and it's driving me nuts having him here. Ug! OK, sorry that I'm being totally self-absorbed again! I have Rhythmic Step on the schedule for today, but I think that I might switch it out for Amy B's Hi/Lo Knockout since that one is LOOOOONG and a killer . . . and I need something to snap me out of this weird funk I'm in!

We're babysitting the niece Clementine tonight, which should be a lot of fun! My brother and SIL are driving up to L.A. to see Ricky Gervais, so they won't be home until really late. I'll bring my jammies so that I can crash on their couch if I need to. :)

BBL, and hope you are all having wonderful days! Love to you all! :*

Hello all. We’ve already been a bit busy this morning. We had to pick up a lot of bark in the backyard (our sycamores tend to shed bark this time of year). Then we went to Home Depot and got a new faucet for our kitchen sink (we’ve had a leak and DH thinks it just needs replacing—hope he knows what he’s doing). We also got some more gardening stuff—have to grow some grass back around where they did the paving. I also got a couple lilies I need to plant somewhere.

Anyway, I plan to do S&H Biceps & Triceps today. Next week I’ll be doing Amy Bento’s Slo-Mo Strength Challenge. I want to do some personals here, but the boys (the little ones and the big one) want lunch soon and apparently none of them is capable of feeding himself today. Oh well, I’ll be nice to DH since he’s going to install a new faucet at some point.

I plan to BBL.

ETA: DH went out and got donuts this morning but I managed to resist them. I read the fat content before trying one and that really helped me say "no."

Hey chicas~

In the midst of cleaning like a maniac here. My house is disgusting.x(

Tneah - your bike is adorable! And you definitely need a new wardrobe to ride it:) I don't have Sophie this weekend, no.:(

Leanne - you know, I think you should have just switched on the vacuum and vacuumed RIGHT OUTSIDE where DH and BIL were sleeping. Dammit, I'm getting so mad at that BIL guy, I wanna come down there and give him a piece of my mind! What a lazy slob! How fun that you get to babysit your niece tonight! Enjoy!

Robin - that park looks amazing! Have a nice, relaxing afternoon! I'm very excited about the eagle!

Peggie - have fun with your KB workout. Which one did you decide on? What's your fave KB?

Lainie - you resisted donuts? Goodness, you're stronger than me! I got a new faucet for our kitchen sink about 4 years ago and it's still in the box:p

Okay, back to dusting. *sigh*

shhhhh I am at a conference }( and am sneaking to say hi to my melty friends. I have to go, but wanted to check in! BBL maybe. If not, seeya tomorrow.

:)

*taps foot impatiently* ok, whose gonna tell me about the eagle?:p

BG, I will not tell, hi, glad you stopped in!

Lainie, good girl on the donuts--quite possibly the most fantastic "food" ever invented in my humble opinion. Moving bark? Oh what fun...uh, yeah. Planting lilies? Lots of fun, I love flowers. Sounds like you are getting your workouts in lately, must feel good to get back in to the groove huh? Whats for lunch?

Leanne, Gosh I cannot stand BIL, me and Shelley will come over kick arse.My doctor refilled my Zanax, so hey, *tosses a few to Leanne* here ya go chica!;) Anxiety attacks are real horrid things, I hope this situation doesn't start to give you these on a regular basis. Enough already, you should talk to DH again?

Shelley, for some reason I cannot picture your house ever, ever being a total disaster..ever!:7 I did the clean thing yesterday, but stupidly let Georgie go in the water, so now there is sand everywhere...

Well I did the most killer cardio workout ever. Its the itrain circuit deal, first the treadmill, than the elliptical then the bike and back to the treadmill. Killer, I was soaked afterwards. Grace however, does this "WHOOP" yell that scared and surprised me to badly I almost fell off the treadmill!:7 That woman is a mess isn't she?

I have the boat to myself today, so its just me and George.:p Think I might slather on some sunscreen and lay out for a bit, read, clean the floors again, finish the laundry, etc....maybe order a salad from the restaurant at the marina...I am loving today...:D

Hello.

My name is Linda and I have been lurking on the Cathe site for a while now. I usually don't post and have been going back and forth on whether I should or not, but I couldn't resist any longer. I, like many of you, am an introvert and have to really push myself to make friends and socialize.

If you don't mind, I would love to join your group and check In!

A little about myself. I am 33, married for 12 years and have 4 children ages 10, 8, 4, and almost 2. I work full time right now and am praying that within a year I can drop down to part time.

I have been working out for many years, about 2 with Cathe. I usually workout about 6 days a week, combination of weights and cardio and I try to eat as clean as possible (about 6 small meals a day). I always have Saturday's as a cheat day.

I guess that is my life in a nutshell. Between work and kids I don't have much time to do anything else. I get up before work at about 5am everyday to exercise. Beside exercising and spending time with my kids I love to camp, read, scrapbook and enjoy the great outdoors.

I look forward to getting to know all of you!!

Linda:)

Hey Tneah - your day sounds like heaven. I believe the "eagle" is something that BreckGirl mailed to Leanne.

I enjoyed some vitamin D today for about an hour and now am gearing myself up for my workout.

The only plans we have for this weekend is that we are taking my mom our for supper for her birthday. She turned 66. And tomorrow Tayler has a birthday party to go to and then supper there later on in the afternoon, brats, hamburgers, etc., so I will be taking a huge vegetable tray.

Leanne - go ahead and just kick BIL's arse.

BBL

** jumps up and down with hand in air **
I wanna kick arse too!!! Me too me too!!!!

I've been dyin to get into a fist fight since Robin's little oopsie at work. }( }( Leanne, PLEASE let me come beat up on BIL with Tneah, Shelley and Peggie!!

All right, so we're gathering up a posse to go beat up Leanne's BIL, yes?}(

Tneah - your day sounds heavenly. And yes, my house gets to be a disaster. Between two large dogs, one SO who never puts a single thing away, and a 10 year old, I can barely keep up. It's one of the things that I'm so stressed about these days.

Linda - HI! Of course you can join in! We'd love to have you:) I can't even imagine how busy you must be with four kids in that age range! Where on earth do you find time to work out and scrapbook?

Oh, you ladies are hysterical! I love you all sooo much! When you arrive with the posse to beat up BIL, I'll take you out for Mexican food and margaritas afterwards! ;-) Whatddya say??

Just got done doing all 85 minutes of Amy B's Hi/Lo Knockout, and I'm a sweaty mess. As I've been typing this, my SIL called, and they want us to come over a bit earlier to babysit -- we have to be there at 4:00. So I need to go wake up DH so I can finish vacuuming and cleaning house before I shower.

Lainie -- Good for you on saying "no" to that donut! Are you still liking S&H?

Shelley -- How are ya' doing, babe? I'm worried about you since you still seem sorta down. Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? I'm sorry that all the stress around the house is wearing on you. Can you ask Chris and Sophie to pitch in a little more? I know -- easier said than done, right? But it might be worth a try since it'll help take a lot of the burden off of you! {{{HUGS}}}! I like your idea of vacuuming outside their doors! I actually ended up turning up the music really LOOOOUUUD when I did my workout this morning. DH won't wake up, but I know it carries down to the guest bedroom. }( I can't picture your house being a disaster either!

BG -- Is the conference at least fun? Hope so! :)

Tneah -- Oh, yes, please on the Zanex or maybe some margaritas! DH said he would talk to his brother again on TUESDAY if he's not off his arse looking for a job before then. Hooray on your awesome workout! I really need to try Grace and Coach Sean. It sounds like you have a lovely, relaxing day planned!

Peggie -- Have fun at those parties this weekend, and hope your mom's b-day dinner is wonderful! Yes, come join the posse! :)

Linda -- Hi and welcome to the group! Wow -- like Shelley said, I'm blown away by the fact that you can find time to have fun! It'll be nice to have you in our group!

Shelley - I'm totally IN. }( *starts to crack her knuckles and limber up*

Hi and welcome, Linda! Wish I could chat more, but I'm being naughty at a conference. }( }(

Man, I'm using that little devil thing a lot, eh? }( I'm feeling feisty. }( }( }(

WATCH OUT LEANNE'S BIL!!!!!!!!!!!

(Hi to everyone else of my dear sweet melty friends!!! Will be more personal later - as you know, I am the MASTER of logorrhea...)

hey everyone, just finished KB Providence. Much smoother this time and much stronger on my left side too. My arms feel a little jello-ish right now.

BBL to chat some more.

Well so far so not the relaxing day I had planned darn it!x( I realized we are once again out of water, veggies etc....so off to the grocery store, and back to schlepping the cart up and down the dock.x( x( Ah, I need to sut up don't I? Most folks would love to have a boat...I just haven't relaxed on it yet...sigh. As soon as I got home, Georgie needs a walk again. Good grief. Then DH calls with news about buying a different, bigger boat, one we can live on for good. Not sure how I feel about it, but he sounded like a little kid he was so excited. Yeah, buddy, but who gets stuck doing all the work with Georgie and everything else??x( Again, I really need to shut up huh?

I'd lend a helping hand Shellers, I am fabulous with a dust mop and windex!:) I used to clean houses for a living...god it was awful, I only lasted about three months doing that. The worst house was someone who kept some sort of birds inside their tiny apartment, there was bird poop all over everything, I was expected to clean all of that up, I could hear birds screeching and fluttering about in a room I was instructed not to go in. I took one look around, called my boss and quit!:)

Anyway, welcome Linda, good to have ya!:7

Hi everyone, okay, I am going to try and relax before DH gets back and engages me in "boat banter"....you have no idea how he will talk something to death, its enough to drive a person batty!:)

Tneah - that sucks. Wish your day was more relaxing.

Linda - Welcome aboard.

Leanne - I want mexican food and margaritas

Well, getting ready to head out to dinner, so will talk to you kittens later.
