Week to Week 9/28/20-10/4/20

Good morning!

This morning was a two mile walk (High Calorie Burn) from Leslie Sansone. I have a few DVDs of hers, and this one has the one mile, two mile, and three mile walks on it. I don't like to walk outdoors on cement so these are perfect for my walking days. :)

@Mad-Dog88 that's cool about your Mom! And yes, I think your "sin" is forgiven. :)

Hi all

Today was CL Warrior Kickboxing and yoga.

Geoff- one of the reason I need to work out so much is my carb obsession. Not a huge meat eater so that’s my excuse. You are definitely forgiven.

CarolRose - I really don’t enjoy walking on cement either. I would much rather be on a trial. Since that is difficult on a daily basis, I usually just walk to pick up Starbucks in the AM and my DH might take a quick walk at lunch since we work remotely.

Hello to Lanette and Sherry.

Have a great day.

Geoff - Thank you the pics of your Mom. She is awesome!!!! I am really impressed. May I ask her age? I am almost 59 and I find those pics most inspiring. Yes, enjoy your b-day meal and great new workouts!!!! Happy Birthday!

Lannette - I will have to check out Time Crunch #4. I was wondering what circuit to do on Friday. Maybe that one will fit.

Lisa - I hear you on the carbs. Cardio just doesn't seem to burn off the beloved carbs like it use too. Last July I decided to tweak my carbs just a bit. No processed flours or sugar. I use honey and almond flour for substitutes. I switched from regular bread to Ezekial bread. I have lost 9 pounds and I don't feel deprived.

Today was The Firm Hare. This is a sneaky little workout. I found it to be more intense than the Tortoise.

Have a great hump day.

Hi everyone!

Busy family day. Today was Barbell & Abs - I scheduled myself for KY & Essentrics Total Body for Beginners Workout 2 & the floor from WO 1. It was perfect for a recovery week! I forgot how wonderful these WOs make my body feel.

Geoff, Thank you for sharing those pictures of your mother. She’s amazing! Enjoy your Birthday!

Lisa, I used to literally eat nothing but carbs and extremely low fat. For me the cardio made me crave carbs and the carbs made me crave more carbs. I ate tons of fibrous low cal carbs. It hurt me nutritionally over the long haul. I hated meat. For me lower carb higher fat has been amazing. I’m 65 and what I needed in food changed over time. I could tolerate high carb, low fat but I thrive on the opposite.

Sherri, Classic 4 really checked the box for me yesterday. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Carol, Nice workout choice!

Have a great evening everyone! I’ve got to run!

Hi all

Today was CL PHA 2020. This is one of her best PHA workouts.

On the carb front, my cholesterol tends to be on the high side so I have to watch my fats. I do eat meat but it is usually only 3 times a week and only for one meal. It’s mainly chicken and once in a blue moon beef. I do not eat a lot of processed foods and everything is organic.

Geoff - Xtrain Legs is a WINNER. There are so many great premixes.

Have a great day.

Good morning! Today was Gym Style Back, Shoulders & Biceps. Didn’t think I’d be able to sneak in a workout today but the stars aligned in my favor. :)

Hello everyone,

I just was not mentally wanting to workout, so I did a dog walk/Dance Fitness w/Natalya K/Jessica Smith Post Workout Stretch. Have a great day all!

Hi Everyone!
Today was scheduled as cardio& Abs. We hiked my favorite trail. I used to call it the “Standing Legs” Hike because you spend forever climbing up bolder staircases. You think you’re finished and there’s yet more. At the end you climb a ladder to the top and the view is great. I think I messed up the pictures.

This was a goal since my SIJ started acting up and then I hurt my neck. I did my KY at home as a warm-up. The trail is only a 5 minute drive. I’m fine. My body did it without a hitch. I counted the hike down as a combo balance and core.;)

Hi everyone!
Quick check in! Scheduled for a Firm Classic. I chose #5. I’m kind of surprised not to be sore this morning. That’s another benefit of dropping my carbs and eating more fat. My inflammation levels stay lower. I’ve been told my spine is “rotten with arthritis” but I no longer have pain. Still takes me by surprise when I’m expecting to have DOMS.

Hi all,

Today was Vinyasa Flow Yoga w/Yoga Upload. I finally got my hair cut!!! It's been 9 months. It is amazing how a cut can make you feel good.

Lannette - Beautiful scenery. What a wonderful walk.

Hi all

Today was CL Cardio Core Challenge.

Lanette that trail looks so nice! My husband and I love to hike in the fall.

Sherri I love getting my hair done. I rarely do my own hair and admit to getting blowouts a few times a week:D.

Hi CarolRose and Geoff

Have a great day

GREAT PICTURES!!!

I'm not working out on Saturdays right now. My husband had cervical spine surgery a month ago and still isn't cleared to drive. He also still has lifting restrictions. So, the grocery shopping (yes, he usually does it and likes to! :) ) has fallen to me. Also the yard work, which he usually enjoys and willingly does.

Anyway... this extra stuff tires me out so I've given up Saturday workouts to take care of the things he can't do yet. I'm still working full time, so it's easier to get all that done on one day. Hey... pulling weeds, mowing a lawn, making post office runs, etc., etc., etc., plus walking through a crowded store on a Saturday morning is still a workout, right? :p

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! :)
