Hi Everyone! I know there has been a lot of discussion this morning about us enforcing our forum guidelines and I just wanted to leave myself open to you for any questions you might have concerning this. I will be here for the next hour having lunch at the computer if you want to join me.

If you don't have any questions for me I'd love for you to just shout out a big hello and let me know how you're doing today. Doing lunch alone can get lonely :D
 
Hi Cathe! No questions! Just want to give you a big THANK YOU for STS Strength system. I'm on M1W3 and I am loving every darn minute of it!! Never worked so hard in my life!! :eek:

I'm eating a romaine lettuce salad topped with grilled chicken and some low fat sesame ginger dressing. mmm mmm good!!

I have no questions but wanted to say hi. I love that you are checking in on the OD forum lately and asking what workouts we're doing! I saw that you did a spinning class this week and I just did my first spin class last week and my first thought was that the only way it could have been better was if I was able to do it at home and with you leading the way!!!

Can't wait to see you in July and maybe again in Houston.

I'll spend more time on the OD, and looking forward to it, now that the guidelines are more enforced. I have a Lurkers group too, that expressed how afraid they were to go there, and didn't want to leave the comfort of the Lurkers group. Again, maybe now they can get their feet wet without them feeling so cold.

Hi Cathe! Just wanted to let you know that I have fallen in love all over again with kickboxing thanks to KPC and 4DS kickboxing. I am LOVING doing the KPC/Legs & Glutes premixes. I never thought I liked cardio much, but when I pair it with weights, it's a totally different animal. I feel so great after finishing the workout. Is this an effective way to lean out or should I be focusing more on one or the other on given days (if that makes sense). I'm stuck in a never-ending plateau! :)

PS Thanks so much for reminding us why we are here. I have been guilty in the past of passing judgement and making some snippy remarks, and I regret that now. Time for a clean slate. Thanks for all you do!!

PSS When are those mugs going to be available!! :)

How are you in NJ today?

OK...question...I'm not sure if you saw my post on the pushups in STS (I just watched the first disk). But I'm AWFUL at pushups. I've been doing them for years but never feel stronger and usually get headaches or head pressure from doing them (Several posters thought I might be breathing incorrectly, which is so true).

I'd like to know...have you always been able to do a gazillion pushups with such perfect form? I can't imagine you EVER doing pushups from the knee, but would love to hear the story of how you worked up to straight-legged pushup perfection. Give it to me straight...did you come out of the womb that way? Able to do straight-legged pushups when you were just in diapers?

PS...how do you tell the woman who comes into your living room every day and has changed your life how much she means to you? I've got NOTHIN' but LOVE!

PSS...If we can't get to a RT but want to come to your gym in NJ, would that be ok?

Hey Cathe,

I had a lovely run this morning and am going to be working out tonight "with" my Cathlete fitness buddy - we're doing MMA Fusion! She's in California and I'm in Toronto and we do the same workout as each other every Thursday at the same time (accounting for the time change). We have such a good time. The workout changes each week, but we are on the same rotation so it always fits in with whatever we're doing.

I have no issue with your forum guidelines - your house, your rules; I'm just glad I get to play here with my friends! Too bad it came to this, but so happy to have you around!

PS. By the way, kick-ass veinage and biceps on the new Cathe stamp! What series is it from?

As far as what is the better way to train, especially when you are feeling like you are on a plateau.....keep shaking your workouts up. Never let your body know from day to day what to expect. It sounds like the newest inclusion of weights along with your kickboxing is providing just the right challenge right now. But when you start to know what's coming, change that workout. Also if you want to do just weights or just cardio per session that is great too, but reach for different cardio and or weight workouts and make sure to play with intensity, frequency and duration (either per workout or per workout week) too. It's not quite lunchtime on the west coast, but I'll gladly take my morning break with you, Cathe! Btw I love yams, now I'm craving one too! I'm just noshing on a banana and dreaming about my lunchtime salad....

I'm new to the forum and to your workouts, thank you for your excellent products. I'm getting in the best shape of my life. My Cathe library is growing rapidly, in fact one of my husband's recent facebook updates said something like "New Cathe DVD's arriving almost daily, it's like the Blitzkreig here!" :) Also, as a self-employed woman I admire your business sense.
